All Signs
With both the Sun and Venus in Cancer now, many people in the world are more focused on home and family. It's a good thing. We all need family. Family is a source of comfort, help, and a mutual need - it's a big parachute in life; if you're lucky, it's also a source of joy and pleasure. George Burns was right: "Happiness is having a large, loving, caring, close knit family in another city."
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Your focus is now turning to everything related to home, family and real estate matters for the next month. You're excited about something. I see many of you are redecorating or introducing beautiful, new pieces or little treasures to your digs and using your wonderful, artsy crafty skills to make your home more beautiful. Of course! Aries is the artisan of the zodiac. You'll try anything once. You figure if somebody else created something with two hands -- hey -- you have two hands so why not? Cocky confidence? Absolutely! The next six weeks are also a lovely time for family harmony and telling loved ones how much you appreciate them in your life. (Would you have it any other way?)
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You're busy! Short trips, increased reading, writing and studying, plus buying and selling and negotiating keep you hopping! However, I think it's a fun busy time. Your social skills are especially good. Relations with siblings and relatives are warm and friendly. Many of you will increase your earnings or make extra money through your writing and communicating skills. The next six weeks are great for teachers, salespeople, PR types as well as anyone who drives for a living (truckers, bus drivers, cabbies and couriers.) The next month is an excellent time to make long-range plans about vacations, sports, and anything to do with the care or the education of children. (There's nothing wrong with teenagers that reasoning with them won't aggravate.)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
"We're in the mooneey!" Many of you are earning more -- and you're spending it as well. The next six weeks are a strong focus on cash flow and your relationship to your possessions. You might be thinking about how much money you need and how much you want to put yourself out for the money you need? There's gotta be a balance here! Perhaps those who say money can't buy happiness just don't know where to shop? But everything has its limit. What you seek is happiness, right? After all, the goal of life is to be happy. The trick is to discover what makes you happy. So the subtext of all this money and pretty stuff is really a question of values. Speaking of values, how much did you pay for that wonderful new gizmo?
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Finally -- your turn up to bat! Both the Sun and fair Venus are in your sign which means it's your turn to recharge your batteries for the rest of year. It's time to replenish and restore yourself! (Cut to shot of Cancers with their arms outstretched to heaven.) And it's all about you. Put yourself first. Think about what you need to be a happier Cancer. With Venus in your sign, you're extra friendly, charming and diplomatic. (Your bathroom mirror is covered in kisses.) The month ahead is a wonderful time to shop for wardrobe items. You love a good value. Nevertheless, you're working hard to earn money as well as spend it. But it's all good.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Because your birthday is approaching in a month, this is the perfect time to hide backstage and do some thinking about what you want your new year (birthday to birthday) to hold. Look back over your shoulder at last year. How do you want things to be different in your new year? What your mind is constantly aware of will always influence your choices -- and these choices slowly add up to your life. Therefore, be mindful about how you want to spend your time. Time is the stuff life is made of i.e. what you do with your time is your life. Why not be the best you can be and use your time in the best way possible? Admittedly, perfection is unattainable, but as a Leo - you can fake it.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
What a popular month! In the next six weeks, everyone wants to see your face. Wherever you go, you'll run into friendly chatter. Many of you will join clubs, groups, classes and organizations. People will make increasing demands on your time. Some of you will hang out with artistic types more than usual. However, it's all good. You'll have fun. In fact, if you find people who are willing to listen to your thoughts about your dreams and goals for the future, you will benefit from their feedback. People can help you tweak your future! "That way lies madness!"
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
This is the only time all year when the Sun is at high noon in your chart acting like a spotlight on you. This is why people notice you, especially bosses, parents, teachers and VIPs. Incidentally, this also includes the police so if you have a heavy foot -- lighten up. And don't drink and drive! The good news is these people see you in a favourable light. They think you're the cat's meow even if you don't do anything special. Therefore, milk this for all it's worth. Ask for what you want. Present your proposals or push your agenda for something. It's easy to get a green light from any authority figure in your life in the next six weeks. (I think the green light would look lovely in the den against the burgundy walls. Is that colour Sun Dried tomato?)
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Life is getting exciting for many of you. Opportunities abound in publishing, the media, or anything to do with colleges, universities and secondary training plus medicine and law. Do explore these. There's money in them thar hills! Similarly, many of you will have opportunities to travel and explore new ideas, philosophies and religions. These exciting choices arrive at the perfect time because you're hungry to learn something new, and eager to blow this pop stand. (Ten wheels, two tracks- I'm outta here! )You want a change of scenery. Romance with someone from another culture is likely. (Great way to learn a new language!)
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
This month you're super intense about everything. "I mean business!" Of course, you'll get a lot done with respect to shared property, jointly held possessions, inheritances, insurance matters, taxes and debt. On a lighter note (is that B-flat?) intimate relations and sexual encounters will be quite yummy. Not only do you feel passionate, you also feel sweet and tender. Like juicy corn. There's more! Settlements will favour you now. You definitely come out smelling like a rose by getting gifts, goodies and money from others, especially partners. And if not tangible goodies -- you'll be blessed with perks and opportunities. What's not to like?
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Fair Venus and the Sun are opposite your sign for the next month drawing your attention to partnerships and close friendships. ("It's all I think about. We've never been apart before.") This also applies to professional partnerships. This particular celestial phenomenon occurs only once a year (for you) and as such, it's a wonderful opportunity for you to have a chance to see how you operate in a partnership. What do you offer? What do you expect? What games do you play? How do you define a successful partnership? Your sign is inclined to keep score. That's okay. At least, you know what the score is. This is a good time to make travel plans with others. ("If you're going down there in February, you have to rent a house now!")
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
My, my. You're in work mode! Something has provoked you to decide it's time to clean up your act. You want to be organized, efficient, effective and productive. You want your closets color-coded, your CDs alphabetized, your spices organized and everything in the freezer labeled correctly. Sounds good to me. Since you have this urge to get better organized in every aspect of your life -- act on it! Whatever you do now will have a domino effect of boosting your earnings in some way. ("When I cleaned the top of my desk, I found this flowchart and realized we've only been billing for half our time. Ahem.") You're keen to improve your health as well. Isn't being perfect fun?
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Tra la, tra la! You're the big winner this month. It's all about parties, fun, romance, love affairs, vacations, weekend escapes, sports, and playful activities with children. You want good times! Accept all invitations. Throw a party. Leisure reading, games, puzzles and relaxing moments will delight you. (I sure wish I was a Pisces right now.) Many of you will fall in love. Those of you already in love will enjoy a deepening, affectionate bond with someone. Grab opportunities to express your creative talents. Don't get me wrong -- you're still working hard. But life is allowing you more spaces of enjoyment, relaxation and sweet love. Aaww gee. Mom always liked you best.
