All Signs
It's both a passionate and mellow week. Three planets in Aries bring a slight shift of focus for everyone. But mostly, it's more of the same. That's because the future is mostly like the present -- only longer.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
This is an unusually strong time for you; therefore, you should definitely make the most of it. In one way, because lucky Jupiter is at the top of your chart for the entire year, this applies for all of 2008. This influence can really push your name out there in a professional sense, or even personally in your own circle. People are suddenly "discovering" you! You look attractive and talented. People think you're a winner. Saturn is pushing you work hard this year; and this week in particular, not only the Sun but also Venus and Mercury are in your sign. Great time to shop for wardrobe items. You look good and your communication skills are hot. When you're holding pocket Aces, you might as well go for it! Things don't get much better than this.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
It's a curious celestial combination this week. Three planets put you in the background, working behind the scenes or alone. (Keep a low profile -- and rest!) Yet Jupiter wants you to travel and explore the world and have different experiences. You're hungry for adventure; and many of you want to learn more by going back to school or taking courses. Meanwhile, home, increased responsibilities with children combined with a private desire to discover what you want to be when you grow up (no matter how old you are) makes you think seriously about your future. So it's a mix. You're having fun, and yet you're waiting for your ship to come in. (Let's hope you're not at the train station.)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
This is a popular, schmoozey week! You're out there flying your colours, talking to everyone! Friends, groups, clubs and organizations want to see your face. Artistic friends and younger pals are eager to share news with you. In turn, you can benefit by sharing your dreams and goals with them because their feedback can help you. Since this is the time in your life when you're trying to establish a home base by finding a new home or repairing your current home -- you're busy with the basics. Increased responsibilities with family members, especially parents are also likely. Fortunately, all of 2008 brings you gifts, goodies, cash, perks and favours from others. You're on the gravy train!
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Mars is still giving you super bonus boost of energy, drive and confidence. (Normally, Mars is in a sign for about six weeks, but now because of a celestial quirk, it's in Cancer for six months.) No wonder some are a bit wary of you: you're flexing your muscles! Because the Sun, Venus and Mercury are at high noon In your chart this week, people notice you. You easily impress bosses, parents, teachers and VIPs. Expect to be asked to give your artistic input on something. Others actually want to hear what you have to say! Meanwhile, partnerships hum cozily along because Jupiter brings you good luck in joint ventures now and for the rest of the year. (It's true. The best laboursaving device is a rich partner.)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Lately, even you have to acknowledge you're the last of the big-time spenders. That's why you've been watching your pennies and trying to reduce your debt. You're more money conscious this year. Fortunately, this year and next, you can beautifully improve your job, or get a better job, or get a better boss, or grow a more positive attitude to your work. This week travel plans look sweet. Exciting getaways are promising. Many of you are also exploring opportunities in publishing, the media, higher education, medicine and the law. Romance with someone from a different background or different culture is also likely. Sounds like to time for veni vidi velcro: I came, I saw, I stuck around.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Life is pretty intense. You don't want surface chit chat or Band-Aid solutions. You want the nitty-gritty truth of things. For starters, your sex life is hot. (Why are you laughing?) Passionate exchanges with others are memorable this week! But in a broader sense, you're consumed with shared property, jointly held ventures, insurance matters, inheritances, taxes, debt and the wealth of others. Physical activity with groups keeps you pumped; however, guard against conflict with others. Fun vacations are in store for you because this is your year for romance, love affairs, playful activities with children, travel for pleasure and exploring your creative potential. Woo, woo!
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
You have a fine eye, and a sense of fashion, and an appreciation of colour, composition and light. Many of you are designers and interior decorators. For this reason, 2008 and 2009 are exciting years because this is your window of opportunity to make your home look richer, more opulent, more enjoyable and frankly fabulous. (It's also a great time for real estate investment.) Family relationships will improve in a deeper, richer way. This week partnerships and close friendships are particularly important. Friends could become lovers. Dicey relationships can repair themselves. You'll find it easy to work with others, even though your ambition is aroused. They say, if you want to get a job done -- give it to a busy person. Right now -- that's you.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
This is a busy year because Jupiter is increasing (in a positive way) all your daily contact with others, especially siblings. You're out there hustling! You're busy with daily errands, short trips, and increased communications -- reading, writing and studying. However, you're upbeat about everything and that's wonderful. This week, you're focused on work and perhaps health issues well. But it all looks good because Venus and Mercury are joining the Sun, which means relations with coworkers are specially smooth. In fact, some of these relationships could heat up into something quite cozy! (Be still my beating heart.) You might also get a raise.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Your finances can improve this year and next. Mucho moneymaking opportunities are in the air. You're not in short pants anymore -- you're in the big-league. It's time to see what's working and what's not. Move on gracefully from things that aren't working out because you will easily forge new professional contacts. But all is not work. Au contraire! This week promises fun! Romance, love affairs, vacations, social invitations, the arts, sports (big emphasis here) and playful activities with children are just some entertaining diversions to sweeten your life. Fiery Mars will rev up your sex drive. (Hey - sex is the most fun you can have with your eyes closed.)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
In the big picture (the one over the fireplace) it's a time of preparation. During the next two years, you're getting ready for a major career peak in your life. It will be a time of accomplishment, graduation, achievement, and hopefully, adulation. It will be your turn to take a bow! Fortunately, lucky Jupiter is in your sign this year giving you all the assistance and lucky breaks you need to push you along. People and resources are drawn to you. Your talents are more obvious to others. And ironically, they're becoming more obvious to you as well! This week your domestic scene is cozy and sweet. Fix up your digs. Redecorate a little. (If you buy fresh flowers, you don't have to dust.) Even though partnerships are challenging, family relationships are rewarding. (You win some, you lose some.)
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
One of your big challenges this year is a lessening of support from partners and other sources. (Partners are quitting jobs or leaving.) Naturally, this throws you back on your own resources. That's the bad news. The good news is this time of testing makes you stronger. In late December, when lucky Jupiter finally enters your sign for the first time in 12 years, you'll be styling! It's easy to work hard now because Mars continues to help you bust your buns on the job. That's okay. No pain, no gain. This week is busy and social.! It's a good time to form partnerships. It's a great time to schmooze, especially with siblings and relatives. Work related to writing, studying and communications can earn money. Yada yada yada.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
There's no question you're more popular this year. You've got friends! Also, increased acquaintances through clubs, groups and organizations -- and work -- give you a full dance card this year. Please note that others can benefit you now. It's a good time to form partnerships. It's a good time to get advice and guidance from others as well. That's why you should share your goals and dreams for the future with others. Their feedback will help you. Serious partnerships are challenge however. Not easy! Partnerships that have outlived their usefulness will end. All partnerships will undergo readjustments. This week you're totally focused on money -- both earning and spending it. Your earnings can increase; and your purchases will include beautiful yummies for yourself and loved ones. Meanwhile, romance, fun, sports and vacations look swell! What's not to like him?
