All Signs
Just another warning to remind you about Mercury retrograde coming up by the end of the month. Actually, we'll feel its effects before the retrograde date of Jan. 28. It will slow down noticeably (in relationship to planet Earth) by the 22nd. (My life has been so hairy lately, I feel it has me by the throat already!) During the month of February, and even the last week or so of January, just finish things -- don't begin things. Under a Mercury retrograde influence, it's a poor time to buy ground transportation, computers, printers and things related to transportation and communications. (I think this even applies to pogo sticks.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Your sense of adventure and desire to explore new ideas, different philosophies, and unusual ways of thinking are strong now. Study and discuss lofty ideas with others. This is a great time to go back to school or register in courses. You'll love interactions with people from different cultures and different backgrounds. Your appreciation of music, architecture, the arts and all forms of beauty is heightened. Give yourself a chance to enjoy art galleries, museums, parks, beautiful boutiques, architecture and the wondrous creations of others. If you do these things, you'll be personally inspired. And if you can travel somewhere -leave immediately!
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Later this month and next month, many of you will encounter old bosses or authority figures from your past. You might also have an opportunity to explore a job or career move you turned down before or perhaps it fizzled out for some reason. Expect something. It could be an opportunity for you in some way. Privately, your sex life can be very sweet and tender right now. Intimacy can be transcendent - starstruck lovers and all that. Lovely gifts and goodies can also come to you, especially if someone else feels sorry for you, or feels you're particularly deserving. And of course you are! Possibly, you'll return this generosity to someone else who is deserving.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Partnerships and close friendships are sweet and endearing this week, especially by Wednesday. You have a keen sensitivity to the needs and feelings of your loved ones. In fact, this feeling is so strong, you're willing to put their needs before your own. You feel a true "soul-union" with someone. Quite possibly, the thought of losing this person helps you to appreciate what you have and also helps you to appreciate this person's presence in your life. It's so easy to take things for granted, and assume they'll never change. We all do this -- even though the only thing that is predictable is change! (Except from vending machines.)
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
This impending, Mercury retrograde will force you to look at old business with inheritances, estates, insurance matters, shared property, and anything you hold jointly with someone else (including debts). This is a good time to tackle these things. You're focused on partnerships and close friends right now. However, a lovely aspect this week promotes all your relations with coworkers and people involved in your job. It even applies to anything related to pets or the people surrounding your dealings with pets; as well as health issues and people related to your health. This influence is tender, considerate and sensitive. Whatever you do in these areas will be rewarding.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
This week it's a good news/bad news scenario. Relations with acquaintances, casual friends or members of groups could be testy. You might feel angry with someone. However, it's quite the opposite with your dealings with lovers, romantic interests, and children. Here you feel sweetly disposed to everyone! Lovers, sports colleagues and children seem very precious. You appreciate them! You feel fortunate to know these people. New romance that blossoms now will be romantic in a dreamy way. You're also in touch with your muse. Whatever you do in a creative way will be very successful. However, despite this gentle influence, you're still busting your buns working hard. Is there no justice?
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
The next 18 months are extremely playful, indulgent, romantic, creative and fun-loving for you. And for most of you, this week is the perfect opener to some of these experiences. You feel warm hearted, generous and fortunate knowing certain loved ones. Family relations are rewarding and joyful. You're even having a wonderful relationship with your home and where you live. Many of you are buying extravagant touches to make things look more beautiful. This week is also good for real estate however; you're tempted to go overboard. Don't bankrupt yourself trying to buy your dream home, especially something by the water. (Maybe you can't afford the lifestyle you'd like to be accustomed to.)
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
This week your relations with others, especially siblings and relatives, are warm and endearing. It's all so cozy! The reason for this is you feel sympathetic and genuinely concerned for others. You care. You especially care if someone you love needs attention right now. ("I wanna go to Palm Springs!") Others respond to you when they pick up your vibes. Family relations are rewarding. Your sense of altruism is aroused. You also appreciate just how much others care for you because feedback from different people makes this apparent. If you can do anything to help children or promote sports, the arts and family vacations -- you will! We all need a little R&R to keep our boat afloat.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
This continues to be a busy time! You got things to do, people to see, places to go. This week, something curious might happen with your cash flow or your finances. You feel charitable and generous to others. You'll give money to those who are needy. And yet at the same time, you're really going to treat yourself as well buying something quite extravagant and wonderful. You might also spend money on real estate or water, or real estate near the water. Maybe you should hook up with your favourite Libra to enjoy what they're doing to keep their boat afloat. It's definitely a money week for you. Ka-ching.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
A lot of what happens this week is a prelude to how the rest of your year or the next 18 months will unfold. Your focus is on money and possessions. You're concerned with earning money and spending it. You're also involved with some aspect of maintaining what you own. Your relationships with others are very sweet and tender right now. Some of you feel very close to someone -- soul mates and all that. It's almost as if you're in a dreamy fog at times, especially Wednesday. Grab every opportunity to enjoy art, music, architecture or poetry. Your sense of aesthetics as well as your philosophical appreciation of things is finely tuned. (It sure beats being on the end of a shovel.)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
You feel strong; and you're starting to be aware that your confidence is increasing. Only once every 12 years does Jupiter visit your sign, and this time, it's very powerful because it's also being supported by Saturn in another Earth sign. Even Mars is helping you work hard now! Therefore, make the most of all these wonderful opportunities. Give everything your best shot. You also feel altruistic concern for others. You're willing to put their interests before your own. This is excellent. Not only does it benefit others, it obviously benefits you because what goes around comes around. You might do something privately, quietly that is a thoughtful good deed. Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Some kind of contact with a friend or even a member of a group is particularly rewarding for you this week. Something will happen that makes you realize how much you care for someone else, and how much others care for you in return. Perhaps someone will go out of their way to help you or vice versa. You might also lend your efforts to a group that is active in a charitable way or help those who are less fortunate. You're working alone, behind the scenes. Nevertheless, whatever you do makes a positive difference somewhere! George Burns was right. It's too bad that all the people who know how to run the country are busy driving taxis or cutting hair. No matter. You've got strong opinions about everything!
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
The increased popularity that you're going to enjoy this year is already quite evident. Not only is this simply because you're in the right place at the right time saying the right thing to the right person - it's also because you have positive, strong ideals, and when your voice these -- others admire you! Everybody has basic goodness deep within them. But sometimes it gets covered up. We all need someone to be a role model or inspire us or remind us of the good values we innately have. This is what you will do for others this week. Some of you will also get romantic with a boss or VIP. (It could be more high viz than you think.) Be extra patient with family members now. Retrograde Mars is stirring things up at home. Demonstrate grace under pressure.
