All Signs
This is a milder week: you can catch your breath. The Sun in Aries makes everyone a bit feisty, but in the big picture, Saturn continues to oppose Neptune. (This opposition is strongest in June/July.) The Saturn/Neptune dance promotes flu epidemics. It also means you're trying to attain an ideal, but falling short of it in reality. Whoa! Lots of ammunition for self-criticism! (Which is a bummer trip and totally anti-productive.) The trick is to turn this around - 180°. Think of what you're doing right! (785 million people can't read - you can.) Instead of worrying about what can go wrong; think about what you want to go right. (I know what I want to go right. I want to go right to the fridge and have a little nosh.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Things are strong for you now because the Sun is in your sign. The Sun rules your heart and gives you energy. Furthermore, it attracts people and favourable circumstances to you. However, something to do with children, creative ventures, romance, vacations or friends and groups that you deal with either makes you sad; or it makes you question things. In particular, you might question your creativity. Don't do this. Whether you sell what you create or not has nothing to do with your talent. (Vincent Van Gogh was an Aries and he never sold a painting.) You're a verb not a noun. It's the doing of something that counts. (If you don't do - you're done!)
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You need to lie low. You need rest; you need peace and quiet; and you need time to ponder things. Sure, you're working hard because your ambition is strong now. That's a given. And you're still working on securing your home base in some fashion, with respect to real estate, or where you live, or your family dynamic. Interactions with a parent might be more significant now. However, what you really have to focus on is the balance you have between your job and your family. What's it like? Do you emphasize one at the expense of the other? So easy to do. Hey - when you think about it, I don't think anyone's last dying words were, "I wish I spent more time at the office."
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
It's a popular month! But this is also the time to think about your future. (Hey -- you're going to live the rest of your life there.) Partnerships continue to be cozy; but where you're having serious thoughts or questions are areas related to politics, religion, education, medicine and the law. Something in these areas (and perhaps siblings) fills you with self-doubt or makes you question things. You like to know what's going on; you like to figure things out. If you can't figure something out, it bothers you. Actually, if your belief in something is being shook up, this could be healthy. As Voltaire observed, "Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd."
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
People definitely notice you now because the Sun is at high noon in your chart. You are literally in the spotlight. Time spent with friends and groups is particularly pleasant now; and time spent privately with friends can be hot and sexy! (Your gonads are in overdrive.) What might perplex you at this time is something to do with money, shared holdings or something you share with another. It could also be related to taxes or debt or something you owe someone. Whatever it is, it might linger on for a few months, certainly until your birthday. Just remember: you have the same rights and privileges as everyone else. You don't have to save anyone. Just yourself.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Many of you are enthralled with love affairs because you're meeting the love of your life. However, the greater the highs, the greater the lows. It's unnerving to put your trust in someone else's hands. One hopes for the ideal, and one can even work hard for it, but when all is said and done - reality is the only thing on your plate. Reality can be beautiful but it has rough edges. Your best approach to your ideal partnership (be it intimate, platonic or professional ) is to embody the qualities you want your ideal relationship to have. If you want a relationship that is loving, caring, considerate and trusting -than you will have to be loving, caring, considerate and trusting.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
You're focused on the resources and wealth of others. It might have something to do with shared property or jointly held possessions. You might also be heavily involved with the responsibilities for someone else. Whatever happens now, it's not casual. Everything is black-and-white -intense! Fortunately, you're in work mode. You really want to get a lot done, especially by directing the efforts of others. Situations with partners and close friends have been noteworthy because retrograde Mercury took place opposite your sign. You've been juggling ex partners and old flames, and still showing up for work everyday. You're -- amazing!
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
This month continues to be all about partners and close friendships. You need people in your life. You're not a loner. (Very tough for shy Librans.) You want to party and play a lot right now. And you're in the mood for love. Toujours l'amour! That's great; after all life is short (and fat); and if you don't have joy and pleasure, what's it all about, Alfie? Happiness is the only thing that multiplies by division. (That's why they say a joy that is shared is a joy made double.) A fool and his money are soon partying and all that. Actually, doubling up or would that be coupling are in there somewhere. (You're clever. You know these things.)
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
"I owe, I owe, off to work I go." Oy! Back to the salt mines. Actually, you won't mind because you're very keen to get better organized in every aspect of your life. You're on a mission! Tension, chaos and mucho activity on the home front continue, perhaps due to your renovating or redecorating plans. It's all a bit overwhelming; but you can handle it. Why? Because an aspect of happiness is courage, and you have abundant courage. Therefore, "be happy in your work." Unexpected flirtations, new romance, and surprise happenings related to children, sports, vacations, and the arts are likely at the end of the week. Hopefully, it's just a bit of spice and fun.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Oo la la! You're ready for romance and passion! Continue to focus on artistic projects, vacation plans, activities with children, sports and of course -- romance. The next few weeks are a perfect time for a vacation. However, something unexpected will occur at home or within your family at the end of the week. Surprise company could drop by, or expected guests might not show. Power outages, computer failures and small appliances could break down. You might buy high-tech stuff. You're extremely convincing with others during the next few weeks. (Ever noticed that the more you persuade others about something, you yourself become convinced? I guess that's called selling yourself.)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Your focus continues on home, family and real estate matters now. Make some popcorn. Curl up in front of the boob tube. Family gatherings are significant now, especially conversations with parents. But you're not just a homebody; fair Venus demands you get out and party and enjoy delicious flirtations. This is a good time for financial speculation. (But always read the Moon alert in my daily column before you actually buy.) The end of this week has an exciting twist - a few surprises --new faces, new places that sort of thing. However, it is a mildly accident prone time as well, so do everything with care and patience. (And eat a balanced diet: a cookie in each hand.)
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
You're fired up about a lot of things. Mars in your sign gives you lots of energy because Mars rules aggression and it also rules the muscles. You're a human dynamo right now! If you think you're starting to come on too strong, get more physical exercise. Jog in place in front of the fridge. This is a good time for redecorating or entertaining at home. You're unusually persuasive now in terms of sales, marketing, acting, writing or teaching. (Hey - a persuasive Aquarius can save the world!) Use all this energy for the highest good. You know that power corrupts; and absolute power is kinda neat.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Money! How come you can never find any when you need it! It is totally appropriate for you to think of earnings, money, possessions, and even your basic life values right now. A word of explanation by the way for those of you who are wondering why your life has run amok. This last Mercury retrograde took place in your sign (gulp), and Mercury did not return to the degree it was at when it first went retrograde until Sunday, March 25. That's why computer glitches, misunderstandings, break-downs in communications, accidents and ex partners from your past have you reeling. As of Sunday, life starts to return to an even keel.
