All Signs
Glory hallelujah! This is going to be a much better week. (Anything is better than the last few weeks. Oy!) Mercury retrograde will be over by the 8th, although it is still roughly stationary (at almost the same degree) for 4-5 days. But it's an improvement! Meanwhile, back in the North 40, planetary aspects are also improving. Saturn and Neptune are still duking it out ("I'm navel lint!"); but Venus is really going to pull through for all of us. When things get better, it's always important to appreciate your good fortune. (You never know the value of water until the well runs dry.) It's a good week to socialize. Throw on your glad rags and hit the town. (But avoid parties where you'll be the most interesting person there.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
This is a wonderful week to entertain others, or to accept invitations, or travel and explore new cultures and different places. Not only do you have the desire to do these things, you have the energy and the organizational ability to make it happen. In other words, you're willing to work for your fun. And this is often the case: you have to work to get ready, or shop, or stock the fridge, or make plans to see others. Being really friendly takes a lot of energy. And you won't mind putting energy out, because whatever comes back will delight you. Friendships are particularly sweet and endearing now. (Aw gee. I never knew you cared.)
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
It's definitely a social week. Expect some surprises through happenstance introductions and interesting new faces. You can definitely meet some characters. You're also pleased with some inroads you can make at home or within your family dynamic. The resources you need to improve your home scene, or please family members, or solidify your home base are there for you now. A secret romance is possible for some. (Woo, woo.) Yes, we're talking clandestine trysts. (Be still my beating heart.) Be open to offers of help from others because this can occur now. It's okay. You're simply being the object of other people's generosity. (How else can they be generous?)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
A boss, parent or authority figure in your life could surprise you this week. Or you might be quickly thrust into the limelight in an unexpected way. You're feeling powerful, confident and independent. (Oh yeah.) It's also a very popular week for you. Everyone wants to see your face. (Both of them actually.) Relations with friends and partners are joyful and rewarding. It's also a good time to make long-range plans with friends or group members. This is not a time to go it alone. Work with others or form working units or partnerships to accomplish as much as you can. However, remember Rockefeller's advice: "A friendship founded on business is better than a business founded on friendship."
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You look great in the eyes of others this week. They think you're the cat's meow. (A saying I have always found perplexing.) Unexpected travel opportunities or chances to get further education could spring up. Ditto for publishing opportunities and good stuff working with the media. Note: your window of opportunity will be brief. Act quickly! You snooze, you lose. People are impressed with you at work. (You might as well milk this for all it's worth.) Whatever you do now can improve your earnings in the long-term future. Be alert for chances to improve your job or your reputation in any way. Lots of good stuff is bubbling all around you. (Do get out of bed.)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Be on the lookout this week for unexpected gifts, goodies, inheritances, benefits or even money back from the government (ya think?) Something makes you feel flush. Matters related to publishing, the media, education and travel also look sweet. This is a good time to make long-range plans in those areas. It's also a great time to make vacation plans, as well as explore opportunities (some of them romantic) with people from far way or from another culture or a different country. (The best way to learn Spanish is to take a Spanish lover.) Continue to be patient with partners because fiery Mars is still opposite your sign. Just go with what's good and be patient with the rest.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Partnerships surprise you this week. Friends could become lovers. Lovers could become committed. Oh joy! On the other hand, you're feeling so independent some of you might break with a partner. Loans, mortgages, and the support from others that you've been hoping for is there for you now. People are helpful. Keep your pockets open. Something that someone owns could benefit your home or your family. Outright gifts, goodies and cash might fall in your lap. Sex is very sweet and affectionate. So many possibilities ? so little time. Just remember: even when opportunity knocks, you have to get up off your seat and open the door.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Something unexpected with your job or even your health could occur this week. The downside is it could be computer crashes, power outages or something a bit berserk. But it could also be something wonderful: the introduction of new technology or some new toys that help you work better. Some of you will leave your job and others will get new job offers. (It's a crapshoot.) Meanwhile, get out and schmooze with your friends. All social activities are favoured. New relationships can begin now. People are unusually supportive and cooperative now. It's a good time to party. You feel more revved up about life. Yeehaw!
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Something surprising with romance, vacations, the arts, and possibly children will occur this week. You could meet someone new and unusual. ("This person is wonderful but we have nothing in common!") Or so you think. Unexpected chances for a fun getaway definitely exist. You'll have to think on your feet because these opportunities have a very short window. Meanwhile, things are looking beautiful at work. Bosses, VIPs and authority figures are cooperative. Long-range plans look doable. Not only that, it looks like there's money in them thar hills! Your home scene continues to be chaotic and prone to tension. Let your fun times give you the strength and patience to deal with this. What else can you do?
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
This week something surprising on the home front or within your family will happen. Unexpected company might drop by; or expected company might not show. You might buy something new, modern or high-tech for your home. It's a good week for financial investments. The arts, romance, vacations and travel plans all look great. Basically, it's a fun week. Accept all invitations. Get out and boogie! Some of you might meet the love of your life. (It's all sweet, cozy and idealistic.) Since family members are unusually rebellious and independent right now ? be understanding and gentle. (When you're nice to people who are looking for a fight ? it really throws them for a loop.)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
One thing is certain: expect the unexpected this week. Because of this, it's a mildly accident-prone week for you. Be careful driving, walking and jogging. Interruptions to computers, communications, and your daily plans are almost a guarantee. But everything on the home front is fabulous. This is a great time to buy beautiful things for your home or family members. Redecorating projects are blessed. (And you're in the mood to spend some serious coin now.) It's also great time to entertain at home. (If you put out fresh flowers, you don't have to dust.) You're eager to see people. You want to enlighten others about something.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
It's a lovely week; and money is on your mind. Impulse purchases, interruptions to cash flow, and unexpected ways to make money are all possible now. Some of you will step bravely into a new field of self-employment. You're confident and aggressive; but not only that, everyone else loves you! They're putty in your hands. Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
