All Signs

This week the Full Moon takes place in Leo on Feb.1 at 9:45 p.m. PST. One thing you'll notice about the Full Moon: whatever worries you have will intensify as the Full Moon approaches. Then after the Full Moon peaks, these same worries diminish or even disappear! (Go figure.) Each month, the Full Moon is in a different sign, which means it hits a different part of your chart each time. (Every month - new worries!) That's why each Full Moon has a different flavour. Some are more intense; some are more emotional. Hey -- since 95% of the things I worry about never happen - I figure it pays to worry. (Not!)

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Since Mercury, Venus and Uranus are now in Pisces, this means you have way more mojo than usual. (Twilight Zone riff here. Na na Na na, na Na na.) Therefore, trust your hunches. If you have a feeling that you should do something, or finish something, or pick up something or put it away - listen to that little voice within you. If you ignore it, it will come back to bite you in the butt. (Every time.) It's good to get little warnings or wake-up calls about things. Consider yourself lucky in the next four weeks. In fact, you're so dialed into the ether, you'll probably pick up hard rock music through your Mercury fillings.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

The Full Moon this week could definitely aggravate your relations with parents, authority figures, bosses and the police. If you sense difficulties arising in these areas, I would advise you to back off. Don't be stubborn about anything. Don't try to prove anything. It's important to know when to pick your fights. The Full Moon makes a lot of people more excited than usual. Why go up against anyone if they're emotionally fried? Sudden, unexpected opportunities to travel or get increased education or training might come your way now. If so -- act fast; these opportunities are fleeting. (Gone in a New York minute.)

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

You're a wordsmith. You're naturally very bright and clever. However, this week the Full Moon could sucker you in to arguments or debates about politics and religion. Similarly, issues connected with racial tension, dealing with foreign countries, travel and schooling might also arise. This is not the time to get on your soap box. Let sleeping dogs lie. Instead, be alert for surprise assistance, gifts, goodies, loans, or cold hard cash from others. You can benefit from other people this week. If an offer presents itself, act quickly! Grab it. You might not have much time to think about it. (You sooze -- you lose.)

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Money concerns, financial issues, and disputes about shared property are likely to become an issue because of the Full Moon this week. If you're not haggling about money and possessions, you might be arguing about a basic difference of values. Since you can't really change anyone else's values, you might have to agree to disagree. Partners will surprise you this week. New liaisons are definitely possible now, especially with someone who is quite different from you. Chances to travel or explore new ideas are likely. Since you're keen on self-improvement this month -explore whatever comes your way. If you're not growing, you're shrinking. Nothing is static. Capice?

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

This is the only Full Moon in your sign all year. Because you're part of this equation, you will likely feel increased tension dealing with close friends and partners. At least three times (in the past six months) I have related the story about the two wolves fighting within us. If you start to feel angry with a loved one, remind yourself which wolf you want to feed. When differences occur, someone has to demonstrate grace under pressure. Who better than you - the sign of royalty and nobility? Surprise opportunities or resources can expand your work now. It behooves you to explore them. They could be related to technology, radio or aviation.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You're working so hard now! Naturally, this is where you'll feel the increasing tension of this week's Full Moon. Be patient with coworkers; and most important -- be patient with yourself. You can be very tough on yourself because you have such high standards for your own performance. Cut yourself some slack! If you can't be soft and gentle with yourself, how can you be reasonable with anyone else? Expect some surprises related to romance and flirtations, social invitations, events connected with sports, activities related to children and escape, fun vacations. Unpredictable opportunities to have a great time definitely exist for you. Whoopee!

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You're really into enjoying yourself now. Love affairs, romance, parties plus movies and the theatre offer some fun diversions for you. (This includes vacations and working with children.) However, these very same areas are where you might feel the build up of tension before the Full Moon on Thursday. This is nothing you can't handle. Don't worry about it. Surprise activity related to renovations, decorating more visiting people will take place at home late in the week. Ultimately, whatever occurs will make you feel more liberated or even younger. (Younger is good.) After all, you will never again be as young as you are right now reading this column. Factoid.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

The Full Moon this week hits you at home, or in your family, real estate and personal life. You could be dealing with a parent more than usual. Something will make you feel pulled in two directions. The demands of home and family might conflict with your public responsibilities. (It was ever thus.) However, at this point in time, you can't ignore your family and home scene. Somebody needs you. Take care of this but stay light on your feet because short trips and energetic exchanges with others (especially siblings) will create some excitement. It's not a boring week! New faces, new contacts and new ideas will be stimulating. Iiiincoming!

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Take extra precautions driving, jogging and walking this week. This particular Full Moon is mildly accident prone for your sign simply because it could make you distracted. Avoid arguments and debates about political, religious and philosophical matters. Especially steer clear of racial tension. Challenges with publishing, the medis and education could also arise. All this is history by next Monday. Therefore, don't take the bait. Focus on new ways to earn money, as well as exciting, new ways to spend it. Job opportunities lurk in the wings. There's money in them thar hills! Actually, all kinds of opportunities through circumstance and powerful people will come to you this year.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Lots of stuff related to earnings, money, savings, shared property and your personal possessions might be jiggled slightly because of this week's Full Moon. It could create stress for you in this area. (But it will be brief.) You don't like loose ends. And you especially like long-term solutions. (Capricorns usually have well-planned endings.) Resolve whatever you can in these areas because toward the end of the week something surprises you. Definitely! If you have the chance to increase your physical activity through sports or exercise (or whee! --sex) do take it. However, this same influence is mildly accident prone. So be alert. (The world needs lerts.) Continue to explore spiritual avenues. You will get in touch with something valuable in 2007.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Once a year the Full Moon is in your sign; and once a year, the Full Moon opposes your sign. This week the Full Moon in Leo directly opposes your Sun in Aquarius. This opposition will likely translate into tension with your partnerships and closest friendships. Therefore, step carefully. ("Do not trifle in the affairs of Dragons for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.") Somehow, somewhere, probably towards the end of this week, something out of the blue will surprise you. That's all I can say. It's regrettable, because it's not easy to expect the unexpected. It might relate to money or your possessions; and then again, it might not. (Tune in next week. Will John and marry Sarah? Will Darryl's boss discover the truth about him?)

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Feelings of vague uneasiness could arise because of this week's Full Moon. It's not a big deal -- it's just there. Something to do with secrets, hospitals or dealing with the government might be the source of your worries. Fortunately, exciting surprises related to friends or groups that you deal with will change the whole tone of your week. New people will come into your life. Furthermore, they bring ideas that expand your world. Something makes you feel lighter, brighter and more liberated! These contacts could be significant in promoting your career or your good name among your peers. Cope with minor stress at work because it's just the Full Moon. (Hey -- once the game is over, the King and Pawn go back in the same box.)
