All Signs
We'll all notice a subtle shift in our lives because this week Mercury and the Sun move into Aquarius, and Mars are moves into Capricorn. Musical chairs! The Sun denotes where we tend to give our focus and attention. Mercury relates to everyday routine, ground transportation and communications. Mars is an energy planet. It rules the muscles. As it moves through the signs, it energizes different parts of our charts and our own particular planets. What does this mean? Read on for a few hints. The only thing one can be certain of is: if you took all the people who fell asleep at work, and laid them end to end, they'd be a lot more comfortable.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
The next 6 -8 weeks will be powerful for you. One thing is certain: your popularity will increase. Get out and talk to people, enjoy the company of others. In particular, you might be more involved with younger people. Share ideas. Your idealism is aroused now and you'll enjoy group activities that benefit good causes. In addition, you might want to help a friend (or vice versa.) Strong feelings of sympathy exist here. Meanwhile, back at work, while all this social schmoozing is going on - your ambition is getting stronger than ever! Go after what you want. This is the year to do it. (Hey - there's no time like the pleasant.)
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Your power and influence are not only very strong now, they're actually getting stronger. (Are you trying a new breakfast?) For the next few weeks, the Sun will be at high noon in your chart acting like a spotlight on you. This makes everyone notice you; but in particular, bosses, parents and VIPs have you in their sites. Because Mercury is along, important discussions will take place. These people will actually listen to your ideas! Don't be afraid to speak up. In addition, Mars is starting to energize travel plans or any intentions you have connected with schooling, education, medicine, the law or working with foreign countries. Think Mae West: "I've been things and done places."
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Four planets including the Sun are knocking at the door saying, "Come on out -- it's a big, wide world out here!" The month ahead is the time to broaden your horizons. Make school plans, take a trip, investigate publishing and the media opportunities, and make inroads in areas connected to the law and medicine. Do anything that is different. Get out of a rut (you hate boredom and routine.) Sign up for course. Go someplace you've never been to before. Learn a new language. (The best way to learn French is to take a French lover.) Although you might have disputes over shared possessions with someone; privately, your gonads are amped now. Your sex drive is hot!
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
A fairly major shift of planets is now starting to call attention to shared property and anything you own jointly with somebody else. In the next few weeks, you can expect to be putting a lot of attention into this area. "One for you, two for me; one for you, two for me." This same planetary influence will also hype your sex drive. (Remember sex? It comes after five and before seven.) Since Mars is now opposite your sign, conflict with partners and close friends could test your patience. You're not one who goes looking for a fight. Keep in mind that patience is the antidote to anger. And of course, the fastest way to get anyone to shut up is to agree with them. No? Yes!
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
During the next few weeks, Mars will galvanize you into action. You want efficiency and order! You'll plow through a lot of stuff you've let pile up. (Everyone got detoured over the holidays.) Stick to your firm resolve to get better organized. But on another plane (circling overhead) four planets now oppose you, pulling your attention to partnerships and close friendships. This is the year when many of you will find the love of your life. This week as Venus lines up with Neptune, you might totally idolize someone who seems too good to be true. If you can bear up under bad times, you can certainly handle these sweet moments!
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
It appears that you want it all right now. You're going to work very hard to clean your act up and start the year as crisp and efficiently as you can. (Yeah, yeah, cut back on coffee, junk food, smokes and beer. Exercise more. Eat more fruit. Pay bills on time. The list is endless...) Just do what you can. And you're not looking at the salt mines. Oh no. Fiery Mars is on hand to make sure you keep partying, slip away for a vacation, and explore wonderful, romantic interests. It's all good. You're going to work hard and play hard. A coworker might need help this week. Again -- just do what you can.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
With Mars now in Capricorn, family conflicts could arise. Be patient with the gang. Family is forever, and hey - you never got a chance to choose them and vice versa. (Sometimes it's no picnic.) Make the best of whatever it is. Some of you will use this strong, fiery energy to improve your home through renovations or redecorating. (You're tops at this.) Now for the good part: four planets are just starting to excite the section of your chart that rules parties, love affairs, romance, entertaining diversions, show business, the entertainment world, vacations, the arts and children. Think you can handle it?
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
There's no question that you have to put extra focus and attention into your private life -- meaning home, family or real estate matters. You might want to do some redecorating or renovating in the next few weeks. Quite likely, a family member needs some TLC. Interactions with a parent could be significant at this time. Mars gives you lots of energy in your daily activities now. Those involved in teaching, acting, writing, sales and any kind of communications work will do very well. Mars sharpens your intellect, and makes you unusually convincing and persuasive! Some people have a way with words, some not have way.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Fasten your seat belts! The tempo of your days will start to accelerate now. Short trips, conversations with practically everyone, plus increased time with siblings keep you busy. You're unusually talkative. You want to enlighten others about something. This is also an excellent time for study, reading and writing. Many of you can earn money from writing or talking now. But at a personal level, you can discover just how much love there is all around you in your daily world. Keep up the pressure to earn money because you're certainly spending it! (Some of you are hemorrhaging cash.) Fortunately, this is a bonanza year for you!
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Thoughts about money, cash flow and how you can earn more money definitely turn your crank now. You're someone who intends to achieve something in this life. It's the beginning of the year and you're hot to trot. Because Mars is in your sign now you're highly energized. However, all this built-up energy has to have someplace to go. Physical exercise would be a good release; therefore, try to do something that gives you some sustained huffing and puffing. Jog in place in front of the fridge. Use your channel changer with both hands. Brush your teeth more vigorously. It's true - use it or lose it. Because you are a long lived sign, you should take care of your body so that it still works later.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
With four planets in your sign now, you're top of the hit parade. It's your turn to toot your horn. Don't hesitate about putting yourself first. You have to recharge your batteries for the rest of the year. With such a planetary focus on Aquarius now, opportunities and people are definitely attracted to you. Shop for wardrobe items because Venus makes you like what you see in the mirror. Enjoy good times with friends, groups and organizations. Mercury and Venus in your sign make you unusually charming and great at communicating with everyone. You have so much going for you now -- don't waste this blessing. (You're only young once; of course, immaturity is indefinite.)
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
You have so many things cooking on the back burner -- you need some time out to pull your act together before you take it on the road. Seek out solitude and special, private times just for you. You need to cogitate, ruminate and ponder profound things. Conflict with a friend or a member of a group might be challenging right now. Don't get hung up on this. Look at the bigger picture. Make strong plans for this year because your career can really take off now. With Jupiter at the top of your chart, all kinds of wonderful opportunities await you.
