Happy New Year everyone! (Although myannual forecasts cover 2007, below is a quick sketch of what's happening as we enter this New Year.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
This is a fortuitous year for you because for most of 2007, both Saturn and Jupiter are in your fellow Fire signs making a beautiful connection to Aries. This means your life as a whole will run more smoothly! Count on it. In particular, opportunities to travel, study or explore publishing and the media will abound. Therefore, take advantage of this. The placement of Saturn indicates this is a year of preparation. It's even a good year for building your physical strength. Expect to win recognition for your efforts. In 2007, you'll work hard but you will accomplish much!
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
This year two major planets (Saturn the teacher, and lucky Jupiter) are working together to help you establish a home base you can count on for the future. Here's how it's going to go down: Saturn insists you secure your home base for the future. You will either move (i.e. rent again, or buy for the first time, or sell and buy) or if you stay where you are and renovate, or repair your home so that it meets your needs and wants. Meanwhile, back at the bank, Jupiter is going to bring you the money and resources to do the job! Awriiight! This is the year to go for a loan, mortgage or receive an inheritance. (Works for me.) Ka-ching!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Ever since 2005, people have had to pencil in your phone number. (You're on the move!) Residential changes as well as switches in jobs have kept you light on your feet. (You like to think it's harder to hit a moving target.) These variables will continue for 2007 with one major change: partnerships and close friendships will now start to give you enormous support. Therefore, enter into partnerships both professional and intimate, because they'll make you happy and they'll help you. Furthermore, you'll need this kind of support because everything else in your life is a revolving door! (And of course - the best labour-saving device is a partner with money.)
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You're someone who likes to plan ahead. Therefore, hear ye! Hear ye! This year is the year to start new ventures, new businesses and set anything into action. You will be planting seeds at the right time. By 2008, whatever is already established will tend to jell and stay that way. Furthermore, Saturn is urging you to think about your values and what you want to do to earn money. Meanwhile, for the first time in 12 years, Jupiter has arrived to improve your job! You'll either get a new job, or a promotion, or different duties or a better chair - something! So expect the best in terms of employment. In fact, your health will also improve this year. (You wanted more?)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Occasionally, what the stars take with one hand, they give with the other. Something like that is happening for your sign this year. Saturn is still in Leo, telling you it's time to grow up. (At least fake it till you make it.) Increased responsibilities are a bit sobering. You're coming out of a time of loss and into a time of new beginnings. However, Jupiter has decided that you need a few laughs. All Leos will have wonderful love affairs, opportunities for vacations, enjoyable times with children, and the best chance in over a decade to explore your creative talents. It's a fun, partying, romantic year! The very things you delight in are on the menu. Whoopee!
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
In many ways, 2007 is a fabulous year. That's because both Saturn and Jupiter are working together. Sometimes the challenges of Saturn are a bummer, but this year, Jupiter is along to pick up the slack and help you out. Here's the skinny: without question, this is a tough time for you. You're in the midst of giving up people, places and possessions. Things are uncertain. You don't have a warm feeling in your tummy. The good news is as the year progresses, Jupiter will give you the support where it counts most: home, family and your private life. Jupiter will enrich your domestic scene. 2007 is the best time in over a decade for you to invest in real estate, or buy anything for your home and family. When things are good at home, it's easier to face the fierce world outside.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
You're a people pleaser. You want everyone to like you; you certainly don't want people to be angry at you. That's why you need to be surrounded by harmony, not bad vibes. (Horrors!) At this stage in your life, you're learning how to fit in with groups, clubs and organizations (or cliques) in such a way that you're a part of things, yet you don't lose your own integrity and sense of yourself. You don't want to sell out, yet you want to learn how to be a member of the tribe on your own terms. Jupiter will help you do this by increasing your optimism and ability to put a positive spin on things. Communications with others will be better than usual. You'll meet new people and increase your contacts. It's all good.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
If this is a good year for all of us, this is a great year for you! You're in a position to milk it for all its worth. Saturn is at the top of your chart increasing your responsibilities and bringing you success where you have planted well, and tough clarity where you have not. This is a time of harvest. You clearly see what is working and what isn't. Now Jupiter is moving into position to give you your payoff. Yes, we're talking money! (Do re mi, lettuce, bucks, greenbacks, C-notes, cheddar, and serious coin.) Almost all Scorpios will earn more money in the next 18 months. In fact, this month you're spending money on redecorating or fixing up your digs. (The Italian leather looks wonderful!)
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
You're finally laughing because lucky Jupiter is now in your sign, and it's going to stay there all year. "Ding Dong! The witch is dead. The wicked witch is deeeaad!") In a word, you have divine protection in 2007. You'll feel happier, richer, more optimistic, more hopeful, and more confident -- as if by magic. This is the beginning of a new 12 year cycle of growth. Powerful people and favourable circumstances will easily come your way. Meanwhile, back at the starting gate, you've been preparing for this race for years. You're ready to go wire-to-wire to reach your goal. You're ready to make your move -- and just as this is about to happen, Lady Luck decides to sit on your shoulder this year. Yay! (It doesn't get any better than this.)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
You're looking at some serious accomplishments around 2009-11. (That's just two years away!) You've been working hard since 2001; and most recently, you've had to get along with less. (Bummer.) However, travel and educational opportunities, as well as expanding options connected with publishing, the media, medicine and the law are yours for the taking this coming year. Do get out of bed! Pack your bags because you're going places this year. Take a trip to attend a seminar; or a self-help exploration scene with a resident guru. You'll be concerned with finding wisdom and truth. (The only yoga I get is prying my foot out of my mouth.)
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
This year is a turning point for your sign. (Thank heavens.) In 1991, you set out on one of life's ventures. (The proverbial one-way ticket.) Around 1999-2000, you started to put down roots. In the last 16-17 years, you've been fumbling around trying to figure out who you are, what your value system is, where you want to live, and what you want to do. The only thing you're sure of is: Absolutum Obsoletum - if it works, it's out of date. This year you'll step out on to the bigger stage of life. Ta da! From here on, you'll be in the game as a serious player, going for external goals and achievements. Expect your big pay-off in about 5 years. Yay!
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
I'm sure you'll agree that if you're going to work hard, you might as well get some applause, some kudos, some recognition and success. No? That's what's in store for Pisces in 2007. Stern Saturn continues to make you work hard, as you strive to prove to others what you can do. It also places stress on partnerships and close friendships. However, because now and then there is some justice in the stars, while this is happening, moneybags Jupiter is crossing the top of your chart bringing you success in whatever you do. And it's a public success. Everyone else is aware of your good fortune. Your efforts will produce results more easily. This is a time of rapid expansion! (If you continually give, you will continually have.)
