All Signs
This week starts off in a rather serious frame of mind. People are looking for practical solutions, especially in terms of helping those who need help. The irony is that when you help others, the benefits you receive are enormous. You immediately feel better about yourself because you feel more self-respect. You start kissing yourself in the bathroom mirror. It's all good. Mars, the planet of action lines up with Neptune this week making all of us feel more charitable to the needs of others. In fact, practicing kindness will be the source of joy and satisfaction for most of us. That plus seconds on dessert. (But never eat more than you can lift.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
You're very keen now to do some long-range planning about vacations or perhaps something related to publishing, the media, going back to school, educational matters in general, or possibly something to do with dealing with foreign countries or people who are far way. In fact, you're probably doing some research into one of these areas. You want some answers, so that you know which way to go. This is a strong week for you. Parents, bosses and VIPs and impressed with whatever you do. You might as well milk this for all its worth. It's not always this easy to shine in the eyes of other. (Unless they've been drinking.)
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Some of you are doing some heavy estate planning or trying to research or get to the bottom of something related to wills, inheritances, shared property, and jointly held possessions. In fact, you're rather obsessive about this. Mind you, your perseverance and determination will payoff! Where there's a will there's a way. (Pun intended.) Keep up the effort. Planetary aspects indicate that you can dig deep now and find what you're looking for. But the trick is to know what you're looking for! Don't laugh. Most of the time we don't really know what we're looking for; we just know we're missing something. Like the proverbial can of sardines -- all of us are looking for the key.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Discussions with partners and friends are unusually intense now. There's no point in saying "lighten up" -- because you probably can't. The good news is that discussions with others can be quite practical in terms of long-range plans for the future. You're dealing with how to, hands-on stuff. Whatever you do now, you will do very carefully and thoroughly. Your critical faculties are sharp. You won't overlook details. Apparently, you're trying to get all your ducks in a row. Be patient with others. Mars is opposite your sign now and this means conflict with others is likely. But that's no fun. Patience is your best friend now. Anyhow, this conflict is temporary. (Gone by mid-January.) Whew!
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Conversations with partners and friends will be very intense this week. On the other hand, (you have different rings) you might be able to settle some basic, practical questions and establish how to share property or deal with jointly held possessions. You're ready to work hard right now. You're in the right frame of mind. Work that requires attention to detail will flow smoothly. You're also skilled at directing the efforts of others this week. In particular, you feel sympathetic to a coworker and might be able to help this person. This is good. Never miss an opportunity to practice a kindness or be on television.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
You're working flat out in so many areas of your life, including having fun! Activities with children could bring extra responsibilities or even burdens, but you don't mind. Remember, Leo is the sign of children. This means children love you and vice versa. Conversations with lovers and children will deal with practical matters this week. It's important to be honest with young people. (You can't fool them anyhow.) Romance is unusually rosy and idealistic right now. Your creative, artistic skills are enhanced as well. You appear to have an opportunity to practice generosity with someone who needs it. Consider this a chance to earn big brownie points in the sky. (Oh yeah.)
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Family discussions are definitely very much to the point now. 'Tis the season and all that. However, you'll be able to cover some practical ground, and lay out some strategy for the future. This is also a good week to take care of repairs at home as well. You might want to hide a bit and relax. (Make yourself a drink and have a long bubble bath.) Virgo is the sign of service. This week you'll find it particularly gratifying to be involved in activities that benefit others, especially family members. (My mother-in-law had a big plate on the wall that said, "It's a joy to labour for those you love." I liked it. Especially when everybody else was knocking themselves out for me. Bring it on!)
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
More than any other sign, if anything goes wrong especially in your home environment, you immediately begin to work ceaselessly to restore it to its previous state. You don't waste any time! That's what consumes you right now. Conversations with siblings and family members, plus home repairs and redecorating demand your attention. You might also spearhead some kind of drive to help those who are less fortunate, especially children at this time of year. You're definitely using your persuasive skills to bring about some good somewhere. That's evident. Someone older or more experienced can help you now.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
This is good week to sit down with others and make financial plans for the future. You might want to draw up a business plan. If you're spending money, it will be for practical items that will last for a long time in the future. You're also in a position to help a family member now. This help could be financial and practical as well as emotionally supportive. Don't hesitate to do this. Most of you will make more money this year, so you might as well set that formula in motion, eh? In other words, what goes around comes around. Practice generosity, and the universe will be generous to you. (But does it know your size?) Remember: true generosity is giving what is needed.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
This week you're unusually perceptive to the needs of your friends and those around you. Of course, by nature you're quite idealistic. If you can help anyone in any way -- you will. This same planetary transit also means that others might help you. Either way, you know that what goes around comes around. (Just like a winter cold.) This is also a good week to sit down and make long-range financial plans about something. Similarly, you could be strategizing how you're going to spend money in the future. This is a sensible week to accomplish this. Get more physical exercise. Mars is in your sign giving you tons of energy. Perfect for your motto: work hard, party hard.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
You're very concerned about getting to the bottom of something regarding shared property and jointly held possessions. You might also want to clarify matters dealing with wills, inheritances, debt and taxes. You're digging deep for answers now. You want results. Don't worry - you'll get them. It appears that someone behind the scenes might help you in some way, whether you're aware of it or not. In fact, resources (perhaps the government or charitable agencies) might directly benefit you in a financial or practical way. If you have the opportunity to reciprocate, by all means do so. The more you help others, the more you help your own future. It just works that way.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Many of you are joining forces with groups, clubs and organizations or even just friends to perform a service for those who are in need. You find it gratifying to make the world a better place. You're very skilled at rallying the efforts of others. Many hands make light work. (Although sometimes it only takes one person to replace the bulb.) Research and discussions with someone older or more established can benefit you now; or perhaps vice versa. Since you're entering a very popular year ahead, it's not surprising that you're putting yourself out for others or getting more involved with people. Mother Teresa said, "The biggest disease today is not leprosy or tuberculosis, but rather the feeling of being unwanted."
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
You're very involved with friends, groups, clubs and organizations now. Serious discussions with someone older can take you a new direction. Sit down with someone and make long-range plans for the future. You won't regret this. You're also quite ambitious now to use your influence with bosses, VIPs or parents to quietly help others who are in need. Some of you will decide that a course of action you've been pursuing is suddenly no longer meaningful. Don't be disillusioned. Consider this a wakeup call. You'll enjoy any kind of charitable activity. You're very sensitive to the needs of others this week.
