Get ready! The last Mercury retrograde of 2006 begins Oct. 28 and lasts until Nov. 17. However, we'll all feel it earlier because Mercury slows down before it goes retrograde. (Naturally, this retrograde is in relationship to planet Earth. In reality, Mercury always goes forward.) What does this mean for us? First: don't buy any type of ground transportation during Mercury retrograde. Second: wrap up old business or delve into the past during this time. Postpone beginning new stuff until later in November. Third: expect a blast from the past. "Melvin!" And fourth: cope with silly, goof ups, delays, confusion and errors. However, give this little thought! (It's bad luck to be superstitious.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
More and more, you'll be dealing with ex partners at this time. Fortunately, this week, you will do so with grace and charm. (Your ego won't get in the way.) This is good! It gives the impression you've got your act together, and you're totally sane. This always impresses ex-partners. (As you know - living well is the best revenge.) Join efforts with others to work on behalf of someone or something. Some kind of team effort can benefit someone who needs help. You can lead the way in doing this. In fact, all your close one-to-one encounters are opportunities to learn more about yourself.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You're still gung ho to get better organized at home and in your personal life. You're working hard, as well as directing the efforts of others to make things happen. Improvements to your job and improvements to where you live please you now. You might also want to make things better for coworkers and the people whom you're involved with. This is excellent! If you can do something that benefits yourself as well benefiting others, then you're living right! After all -- what goes around comes around. When you start to introduce improvements to your work scene and your personal life, the benefits just keep rolling in!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
This is a very romantic, playful time in your life. It's certainly the perfect time to be on a vacation. Flirtations and playful activities with friends are fun. Your creative vibes are hot. Artistic projects and any kind of work connected with show business, the entertainment world, and the hospitality industry will thrive very well now. In particular, you might want to work on behalf of children who need help or support in some way. It's very easy to put your own wants and needs second when you see people (especially children and young people) who really need your help. Something inspires you to help, or to do whatever you can.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Your focus continues to be on home, family and real estate matters. Family businesses might also capture your attention right now. Some kind of chaos or increased activity taking place at home, perhaps because of renovations, redecorating or even visiting guests. In the midst of this increased turmoil, you're prepared to go out of your way to help someone. You're not bothered by aspects of self-sacrifice. Instead, you genuinely are concerned with the welfare of a family member, or close friend of the family. You might invite those of like minds to your home to discuss a spiritual or philanthropic project. Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
The tempo of your days has increased. You identify quite strongly with your ideas right now. You're enthused about something. In fact, you're so excited about an idea, you want to share your enthusiasm for it with others. Don't worry -- people will respond to your suggestions because they can see you genuinely mean what you say. You're excited about something because you really believe in its benefit for others. Since you're such a creative, dramatic person, you'll be imaginative in how you approach others. You know how to package your ideas so that they appeal to people. Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You might raise money, or give money or things, or donate time and energy to a project. Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
You're working a lot behind the scenes right now. You're involved with secrets, research and private activities. Work alone as much as possible if you can. Don't get hung up about getting credit for what you do. (It's not easy to get your well-deserved credit right now.) However, this won't bother you because you feel unusually self-sacrificing and selfless this week. You're totally prepared to put the interests of others before your own. (Very noble.) Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Everyone is happy to see you; and you in turn, are enjoying being active (especially physically active) with groups or clubs in some way. This week you have the opportunity to join forces with others in order to work on behalf of those who are needy or less fortunate. Some kind of charitable or social service work will definitely appeal to you at this time. Help in any way you can. This is a worthy thing to do. Plus you always feel happier when you are being kind to others.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

It is obvious to everyone that you're quite ambitious now. In part, this is because you identify very strongly with what you're doing. Nevertheless, you also feel the need to run the show. Conflicts with coworkers could arise simply because others are threatened by your efforts to get ahead. However, what you're really lobbying for is something that actually benefits others. Since this is the highest motivation, it's easy to get cooperation from others. In fact, people admire you for doing this. Keep it up.
