All Signs
About every four weeks the Sun changes signs. (This happens 12 times a year.) This creates a global game of musical chairs because everyone's focus shifts as the Sun moves from one sign to another. If you're born at the beginning of your sign, you'll feel this influence right away. Otherwise, it might not kick in for two weeks, but it will occur. Sometimes other planets overshadow this influence; and it can also be obscured by whatever is happening in the chart based on your Rising Sign. This is a down and dirty Astrology 101 lesson. " Yes Grasshopper, when you can take the fly from my hand you are ready."
Aries (March 21-April 19)
With the Sun now in Gemini, your daily tempo definitely increases in the next 4-6 weeks. Suddenly, you have more to do. Your schedule is jam-packed. Short trips, shopping, wheeling and dealing, and talking to people keep you hopping. You'll spend more time with siblings. And you'll read, write or study more as well. All this makes greater demands on your time! (And you only have 24 hours a day - just like everyone else.) It could be stressful trying to keep up; but on the upside -- life will be more interesting! You're very keen to express yourself to others. That's fine. But be kind - avoid a battle of wits with an unarmed person.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
As the Sun changes signs, your focus now swings to money: how you earn it, how you spend it, and what you do with your possessions. (You get the drift.) None of this is casual stuff. You're the money person of the zodiac. You guys can practically mint the stuff in your backyard. And you're quite attached to your precious possessions. (You're not greedy. You just value beautiful things.) Actually, your possessions define who you. The next few weeks are the perfect time to examine your relationship to these possessions. Do you own them or do they own you? The more you own, the more you have to clean, maintain, protect, guard and repair. Oy!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
The Sun is now in your sign for the next four weeks. This energizes you and draws people and opportunities to you as well. It's a fortunate time. It allows you to replenish and restore your energy system. (That's because the Sun is the source of all energy.) When the Sun is in your sign, it also promotes a self-centered quality but this is okay. It's the one time the year when it's appropriate to put yourself first. However, others might find you a bit overbearing or too talkative-- especially close partners. Nevertheless, your first duty is to yourself now. You just have a strong need to express yourself. (I think the leotard tights are a bit too much for work.)
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
For each of us, when the Sun is just about to move into our own sign - it means we have to hide a bit. We need to rest to contemplate our lives and ponder our befuddled situation. We're waiting in the wings before we go out on stage to stand in the spotlight. We need to prepare; we need to reflect. So what are we preparing for? Basically, you're getting ready to start your new year. Do you want it to be another ho hum, who cares experience? No! This is your life. It's your movie and you're the writer, actor and director. This is the time to think about what you want your new script to be from your birthday in 2006 until your birthday in 2007. Any ideas?
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
The next 6 weeks encourage socializing, group activities and good times spent with friends. You want to bond with others. (You feel a need to confide.) You'll join clubs, groups and organizations. You feel your individual accomplishments are not enough - now you want to be a member of the tribe. This is good. (No man is an island, not even a peninsula.) It's rewarding working with others. Group efforts can boost your career and your personal life. Furthermore, your idealism is aroused. This is your opportunity to learn how to work with others without compromising your own identity. (Wearing those Grouch Marx glasses with the nose and moustache helps.)
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
During the next six weeks, the Sun is at high noon in your chart. This acts like a beacon calling attention to you and your activities. People notice you more than usual. Ironically, they not only notice you, they respect you more even if you don't do anything special. (Go figure.) In addition, this high placement of the Sun triggers increased interaction with parents, bosses, VIPs and authority figures. They notice you too and they're also impressed! (It's getting to be a regular soap opera.) Obviously, this is the time to make your move. Go out in full dazzle and get others to endorse, authorize, allocate, or downright give away what you want. You're humming, "I'm in the muun-eeey."
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Whenever the Sun is in Gemini, you want to blow town. You want to see museums, great art, cobblestone streets, foreign beaches, and relax at sidewalk cafes where you sip exotic drinks with little pink parasols. The good life! But it's more than that. You want to learn more about everything in the world. You want to experience more and you want adventure. That's why this is the perfect time to travel, or sign up for a course. Study anything new or try a new hobby. Explore new intellectual disciplines. Meet people from other lands and different cultures. Drink strong coffee and discuss metaphysical and religious questions. (You might want to wear a beret.)
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
In the next six weeks, the Sun will travel through your "home" in the zodiac. This energizes you in a subtle but intense way. In fact, it brings intensity to everything you do and say. And others will notice! (You're a strong sign but many of you don't know it.) Nevertheless, when you want something -- you get it. Pronto. (Oh yeah.) The current placement of the Sun makes you want to experience life at a gut level, not just intellectual. You want to taste the provolone, not just sniff it. This increased intensity trigger changes in your world. You're keen to get to the bottom of things. ("Hmmm - nesting roaches shorted out the ether table.")
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
The Sun now sits directly opposite your sign; and as you might suspect, this draws your attention to partners, close friends, important clients and customers. You're focused on the significant people in your life. (If you're going to go to jail, it's your lawyer; if you're going to have an operation, it's your doctor.) You want these relationships to work successfully. But how do you do it? Something mutually beneficial must occur. i.e. You must be as good for your significant other as he or she is for you. If not -- the imbalance will make one of you unhappy. (Not good.) The month ahead is the perfect time to study how you relate to others.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
What a productive month ahead! You want to work. It doesn't mean you can't play; but you're going to work to get better organized in your job and your personal life. You want everything to be tickety-boo. A home for everything. "If need something, I put my hand out and it's there." (No floaters, please.) Once you're reorganized -- what a pleasure it will be to live your life! You'll feel smugly prepared and so pleased with yourself. You might even make your closet colour-coded. (Oh joy.) People will look at you with wonder and awe -- "How did you do all this?" (You'll grin modestly. Just an average day in the life of a superhero.)
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
You're the big winner this month. Astrology texts claim the Sun's transit through the Fifth House is the happiest time of all. (Your chart is like a pizza. Right now the Sun is moving between five o'clock and four o'clock on that pizza. Since things are so great for you, you obviously remembered to ask them to hold the anchovies and add pineapple.) Get ready for a fun six weeks! Expect flirtations, entertaining diversions, playful times with children, enjoyable evenings at the theatre or the movies, fun sporting events and just pleasant schmoozing times with pals. Overnight - you're Perl Mesta with the mosta!
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Grab your apron, your hammer or your gardening trowel because you're going to enjoy puttering around your home in the next six weeks. You want to make improvements. You want to pull things together. Family gatherings and family reunions might trigger your desire to spruce up your digs. You're definitely focused on family discussions and real estate matters more than usual. Interaction with parents will increase. And yet, despite all this busy activity on a home front, you'll also want more solitude to contemplate childhood memories and your relationship to family members. (Why not put a mirror on your TV set to see what your family looks like?)
