The 2025 Annual Forecasts are available for pre-order. Annual Forecasts will be sent via e-mail on January 1st.
Monday is the Vernal Equinox when the Sun appears to cross the equator moving north, marking the beginning of Spring for the Northern Hemisphere. Day and night are almost the same length. This is why "beginnings" and 'balance" are a theme. (Would I kid you?) Are you working too hard? Are you playing too much? Have you hugged someone lately? Who sees you naked? It's time to scrutinize your lifestyle and your choices. This is the week to ask what will help you have a happy, peaceful mind? Because you do want to be happy, right? So let's cut to the chase. What will it take? It's wise to think about your future - after all you're going to spend the rest of your life there! (Even though the future isn't what it used to be.)
"Gather ye rose buds while ye may, Old Time is still a flying." Don't let another year go by without making a Master Plan. Have no fear that a Master Plan will cramp your wonderful spontaneous style. It won't. It's just a guide. Plans can be organic, and they can even be shelved. But they serve as a starting point or a focus. They're the proverbial kick in the butt. Draw up a 10-year plan, a 5-year plan, and a 1-year plan. Write it down. You were hot in the early 90s. But a lot has changed since 1994. Your plan doesn't have to be carved in stone. It's just the beginning. It's like going to university to get a degree in physics but ending up with a BFA in beadwork. Your original plan got you into the sandbox. Capice?
You're not afraid of hard work, but you have to like your work. I once read an ancient text about meditation, and was surprised at how much it stressed stopping to rest. It said that without a fresh, alert mind, meditating in the wrong way could actually make you stupid! It's important to know when to take a breather. Now is that time for your sign. Grab every opportunity you can to seek solitude, rest and relaxation. This is a time for contemplation. Very soon your birthday will arrive heralding a new year. What do you want that year to include? (Besides fresh salmon.) Be bold about going after your dreams. (Only junk mail arrives unsolicited.)
The next six weeks are social! Expect to schmooze more and chat with pals. (You love an adoring peanut gallery.) Accept invitations. Go to club meetings and AGMs, and events connected with associations. Get out and press the flesh. Whether you're talking to friends or casual acquaintances, you'll find that being in the buzz stimulates your mind. With Mars in your sign, you need more physical exercise now. Stay active; join a gym. In fact, any group activity will benefit and please you. Talk freely to others about your future goals. As you ponder your chain of destiny, you can only work one link at a time.
The Sun is now at high noon in your chart. Because this acts like a spotlight on you, others notice you more than usual -- especially bosses, parents and VIPs. You might get more phone calls, e-mails and visits. You almost certainly will be asked to accept increased responsibilities for something. Don't hesitate to accept. Without doing anything special, you'll succeed! The resources of others will help you. Discussions with parental units and bosses are significant. You have ideas about how to improve things. Remember to plan for a wonderful vacation this year (especially if you're starting to look like your passport photo.)
The universe is sending you two messages: Saturn wants to confine your activities and maintain a narrow focus. (Saturn doesn't like to scatter things helter-skelter; it likes boundaries, and abhors waste.) However, the Sun ignites your desire for adventure! You want to travel, you want to learn, you want to explore new opportunities in publishing and the media. More than that, you want to wrap your head around new ideas, fresh philosophies, and tap into other cultures. You at least want to try a Bellini. (If you can't get to Harry's Bar, that's the next best thing.) Spread your wings! Partnerships are promising. (Sex with old flames might happen.) Woo, woo.
Congratulations! You survived the first Mercury retrograde of the year. The next one occurs in July. This one was particularly testy (and frustrating) because Mars at the top of your chart makes you very ambitious. And, it's going to stay there for several weeks! Meanwhile, because the top of your chart also signifies bosses, authority figures and parents -- conflict with these people is likely. Ouch! Fortunately, your frustration factor will subside. (That's good.) Why not put energy into some kind of research? That's where you shine now. You're also keen on self-improvement. Your work scene will improve. Relax. Read the All Signs above to ponder what makes you happy.
With the Sun opposite your sign, you're very focused on partnerships and your closest relationships. This intrigues you because you need someone on the other end of your teeter-totter. (Friendships and relationships are always important to you.) This is your best opportunity all year to observe yourself and how you relate to others. This is important because it affects how people relate to you. You know the formula: if you want friends -- be friendly. If you want people to be kind, considerate and generous to you -- then be kind, considerate and generous to others. (Hey - I lost my address book; now I have no idea who my friends are.)
You can be productive in the next six weeks. (When Scorpio gets productive -- watch out world! "Move that mountain. Build that bridge!") Basically, your ambition right now is to get better organized at work and at home. That's how it appears on the surface. But at a deeper level, you want to improve your life, and the efficiency with which you do things, so that you're more powerful and effective. You want results. Since motivation is everything - you'll succeed. You have fabulous powers of concentration. Plus, with Jupiter in your sign, Lady Luck is with you. (Although it really isn't luck. This placement just tells me that opportunities come to you now.) Yo!
You need a vacation! Fortunately, the next 6 weeks bring romance, social diversions, fun, play and gambling. (You love a long shot.) Opportunities with the hospitality industry, the entertainment world, professional sports and working with children will definitely increase. Privately, your love life is pumped. (At least you hope so.) Contact with siblings and daily colleagues, plus contracts or negotiations will go well; however, dealings with partners can be testy. (Oy vay.) The main thing to remember is you need to have fun! Yay! It's your turn to blow off some steam. So why not do it? Remember St. Augustine's prayer: "O Lord, help me to be pure -- but not yet."
Not many realize how traditional you truly are. You value mom, apple pie and the flag. You want a white picket fence, 2.5 kids, and a mortgage free home. Right now your focus turns to home, family and real estate matters. (That's because real estate matters.) Discussions with parents will be significant. Entertain family. It's time for a whine and cheese. Many of you need to get a better handle on how you define shared possessions, inheritances, and joint responsibilities. Clarify these things. You'll also enjoy pleasant moments of domestic solitude. Some childhood memories need sorting out. Oh yeah. (That again.)
The tempo of your daily activities is accelerating! You're heading into a busy month. This is due to a jam-packed schedule of short trips, activities with siblings, more reading, writing and studying, and just a lot of errands that need to be done. On top of all this, you're also partying hard. Shee! You're over extended. Who said you couldn't do it all? Actually, you can do it all for a limited length of time. (Like holding your breath underwater.) This is a good month to tell others how you feel about things. Your communication skills are tops. In fact, make clear communications your goal! (This means -- listen.)
It's time to give thought to your basic value system. You want to know what's important. (People with fuzzy hearing think the big question is: "What's in Portland?") Don't put your money on the wrong horse. You've got one life to live and you want to do it right. Right? Therefore, examine your relationship to money and possessions. Do you own your possessions -- or do they own you? It's easy to confuse your identity with your bank account and your assets. Where do you begin and end? How much does your identity have to do with what you own? You want to be happy; and you want control over your life. Does what you own help you achieve this objective?
