Aries (March 21-April 19)
As this year begins, you feel curious (and hopeful) about your career, your reputation among your peers, and all kinds of possibilities and opportunities that you suspect await you. And you're right -- anything can happen! If you didn't read my Annual Forecast for 2006, let me reassure you that wealth, goodies, inheritances and favours will come to you from others this year! Your good fortune (with respect to receiving wealth from others) is better than it has been in over a decade! Since you can count on this help, you can afford to take a risk in going after what you want. Be bold! New ideas about your future are bubbling this week!
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
In your lifetime, Mars has never been in your sign this long. (It's been there for about five months now.) This has energized you tremendously, but it might also have caused rifts with others because you've been so assertive in doing your own thing and going after what you want. (What's the harm in that?) You have one more month to go before it moves on in mid-February. Therefore capitalize on this bold energy! Don't be afraid to act on unexpected opportunities to travel, explore publishing angles, or perhaps go back to school. Unexpected opportunities in medicine and the law also exist. Yup - there's no time like the pleasant.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
The entire year ahead is extremely promising for you because your job is bound to improve somehow, some way. If your job doesn't improve, you'll get a better one. Something is a super bonus feature in your employment scene. Right now however, unexpected opportunities to use the wealth and resources of others can help you. Surprise gifts, goodies, inheritances and bonuses could come to you. Perhaps you'll have the use of resources, increased staff or the wealth of others at your disposal. The Full Moon in Cancer at the end of the week could bring stress to daily communications, especially with siblings. Just go with the flow, babes. Do your clever dazzle.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
There's no question that the year ahead will be quite fortunate for you because it will be fun loving, pleasurable and extremely promising in the Romance Department. Some of you will expand your families. Everything to do with the arts, the entertainment world, show business, professional sports, and children gets a positive boost. Most of you will take a fun vacation. That's why you have much to look for to in 2006! Right now however, you have to brace yourself for the only Full Moon in your sign all year -- this Saturday the 14th. As the week progresses, be extra patient with others. It's your only choice. Nobody wants to be miserable, including you. Demonstrate grace under pressure. Be nurturing to yourself and others.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
As I mentioned in my Annual forecast for 2006, things are going to be fabulous in your domestic life this year. You'll love your home and family scene. Many of you will beautifully improve where you live this year. You most certainly will enjoy it more than ever. Parties at home and family reunions will take place. A sense of abundance and joy in your private life will prevail throughout the year. This week however, you feel stressed in your job and dealing with government matters. Your hair's on fire! You've been working too hard for too long. Delays and snafus at work will clear up by February 2. After that, it's all systems go. Therefore, just relax. Remember -- it's always darkest before it gets pitch black.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
This is an extremely playful, fun loving time for you. Three planets are hovering in the area that promotes vacations, romance, love affairs, playful times with children, the arts and professional sports. You want to boogie! It makes sense that you're starting this year off in this frame of mind, because 2006 promises to be a happier year for you. Primarily, this is because you have positive expectations for yourself. (Yup, everything is attitude.) Even now, some of you are discovering new love, and new ways to have fun. (Gee, I'd like to know about these.) Essentially, this year you'll discover that many of the limitations you thought were imposed from without were actually self-imposed! Wow! Ya think?
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
It's very comforting to know that you're going to make more money this year. And of course, if you're going to make more money, you're going to spend more money as well! What sign loves beautiful things more than you? If Cancer invented the garage sale -- you invented the boutique. (You love those shops where nothing is a necessity but everything is gorgeous in every way.) Be alert (the world needs more lerts) for chances to improve your earnings. This week opportunities to make repairs at home or to have unexpected conversations with family members are inevitable. Expect surprises on the home scene -- perhaps new company! (Hmmm note to self: make sure to have yummy food and drink on hand.)
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Things don't get much better than this. Jupiter -- planet of wealth, good fortune and good luck -- is in your sign for most of 2006. You're the lucky one! You'll feel fortunate, more optimistic, and happier in every way. The only downside is you might gain weight. Why? Because in ancient times with the threat of famine, flesh to the bone was a good thing. (And in many places in the world it still is.) This is a busy week with unexpected opportunities, new faces, and new angles to do things popping up everywhere! It's slightly accident-prone, so be careful. The risk is simply that you're juggling too much and going too fast. (Nevertheless, you know that fools rush in and get the best seats in the house.)
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
You're always on the lookout for get rich quick schemes. Keep your eye sharp this week because that's just what you might discover! Three planets (the Sun, Mercury and retrograde Venus) are now attracting money and moneymaking opportunities to you. Some of these opportunities could be things you explored in the past. (Retrograde Venus.) However, your window of opportunity will be brief. You'll have to act fast. Similar opportunities for new jobs or new ways of earning money also exist. This year you'll feel richer in spiritual terms, and more confident dealing with the government and large institutions. Something will occur to make you feel like this. In fact, it could be starting this week.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Well, it's all about you now, dear Capricorn. The Sun, Mercury and retrograde Venus are all in your sign. This means you can attract people and opportunities to you, especially moneymaking opportunities. You also have a chance to buy something you thought you missed. You're certainly looking at a much more popular year in 2006! You'll participate in groups, clubs and organizations far more than usual. Friendships will be an abundant source of joy and support for you. You'll feel richer through your contact with others. This is good, because partners might change jobs or diminish their support to you. Ah yes -- when one door closes, a window opens. "Hey - you're letting in a draft!"
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
This is a curious time for you. In the year ahead, lucky Jupiter is moving across the top of your chart bringing you all kinds of career opportunities and attracting important, influential people to you. You can really score in 2006! This week however, your best option is to lie in the weeds. Take a back seat to everything. Work behind the scenes. You can dig up some real nuggets by doing research. Work with the government and large institutions can be productive. Essentially, you're learning how to take your power in the external world. It's been a long time, but it's just like riding a bicycle or having sex -- you never forget how to do it.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Opportunities with foreign countries, publishing, the media, education, medicine and the law definitely exist for you in 2006. Many of you will travel more than usual. You'll explore different cultures and new ways of learning things. Some of you will go back to school; others will explore new realms in publishing and the media. This is definitely an exciting year for you, primarily because it holds so many new things that are educational, adventurous and entirely new experiences. This week you're juggling friends, clubs and organizations. Everyone wants to see your face! Discuss future goals with others. Get people onside with your long-term objectives. Your hard work continues, but you can handle it. "It'll be just like Beggar's Canyon back home."
