All Signs
An alert for the keeners. Mercury goes retrograde on Nov. 13, but even before that we'll have confused communications, transportation problems and silly errors because Mercury slows down before the actual retrograde. Therefore, if you're trying to get anything off the ground -- hustle thy buns and do it in October! (Oh yeah.) Don't buy ground transportation in November. Mercury goes direct on Dec. 3rd, but doesn't resume speed (in relation to Earth) until Dec. 13th. So the wonky time is from around Nov.4 to Dec.13. Got it? But hey - Mercury retrograde is not exactly three weeks in the Bardo! It's a great time to finish things, find hidden answers and research the past. (Ah the past - yes, the older I get, the better I was. Ain't it the truth?)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Get ready for diversion. Hey -- that beats get used to disappointment. This week and the next eight weeks bring you a myriad of different and unusual experiences. You'll love it! (You hate boredom and routine.) You love to learn new stuff. You like to live on the edge. You work without a net. Whatever happens will be liberating for you. In fact, you'll feel free of trying to live up to other people's values. All of that will be much less important. You'll also see new ways of using other people's resources. (Handy.) Taurus (April 20-May 20)
New acquaintances enter your life now. (This spices things up.) Stimulating people set an exciting pace. Great - you want something new and novel to come along. Expect to meet people who throw a whole new slant on things for you. (45°! Why didn't I see that? It's so obvious.) Mercury has just moved opposite your sign the first time since last November. This could bring ego conflicts with others. However, your desire to communicate is very strong now. What you bring out into the open could help things in the future. Unlike Aries, you carefully pick and choose your time to speak up about things. (Tauruses never run around outside screaming, "We're all going to die!")
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Two planets have shifted signs this week. Mercury into Scorpio, and Venus is now in Sagittarius right opposite your sign. Both these placements will help you in your job. Your ability to concentrate on details and communicate to others will improve hugely. You're accuracy with details will be enhanced. You'll plan for the future with greater objectivity. Meanwhile, back in the third stall, Venus opposite your sign promotes amorous inclinations. You might start reading your Spam. (Anything for a kinky thrill.) While the Sun is in Libra, your primary objective is to play and have fun! Nothing wrong with that. After all, flirting is just the gentle art of making someone else feel attractive.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You're still focused on home, family, real estate and domestic matters. However, your playful sense of things is starting to grow. That's because Mercury is changing signs now, and this makes you more prankish and flirtatious. In fact, mental games, parties, social activities start to really appeal to you. Why not line up a Halloween costume? Your fellow Water signs (Scorpio and Pisces) are really into the skeleton/pumpkin thang. The Sagittarians are up for it too. Since you're more involved with group activities now -- join the gang. At least get a mask. You can create a costume out of your own closet! (You know who you are.)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
You continue to be busy with short trips, wheeling and dealing, negotiations and buying and selling. Shee! Family discussions assume greater importance in the next few weeks. However, with Venus now beautifully lined up with your Leo Sun, you're in the mood for romance, fun and pleasure! (Oh what a surprise.) Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Money, money, money. You're focused on earning it and spending it. Fortunately, as Mercury shifts into Scorpio, your ability to wheel and deal and talk to everyone excels! (I've got a tongue and I know how to use it.) You'll shop for beautiful things for where you live because you want to fix up the place. You want cozy. Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Things still look fabulous for your sign. Wooha! However, bright moneymaking ideas occur to you now. They could be computer or web related. You're also in fine form to negotiate and make contracts with others. (This is the month to do it, not November.) Your ability to write, teach, market, sell, promote and be creative in all your communications improves beautifully in the next four weeks. (You're so smooth.) Now is the time to do the deal. Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Two contradictory influences are at play in your chart right now. On one hand, with Mercury in your sign now -- you want to talk to everyone. You're stoked! However, contradicting this impulse is your desire to work alone and be by yourself. Hmmm, what to do? Try to accommodate both needs. Naturally, e-mail beautifully does this. (I'm still in my robe.) You'll be busy. Just respect your need for privacy and solitude. Give yourself some downtime. If you don't, you'll feel exhausted and not know why. Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Your whole social scene is blessed. The Sun and Jupiter promote friendships and interactions with clubs, groups and organizations. And now fair Venus is in your sign as well. What gives? Your schmooze factor is tops! The next few weeks are a great time to shop for wardrobe items. You like what you see in the mirror. You're also working very hard now -- you deserve some perks.
