All Signs
Yay! We survived Mercury retrograde. Leos will be particularly grateful. Actually, all the Fixed Signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius) really felt this one. Crazy time-consuming goof-ups! Fortunately, it cleared the way for a strong Sept. when the kids go back to school. That experience won't be quite so harried. Frequently, early Sept. is a time when Mercury is retrograde. So -- (drum roll please)- pull up your socks! Grab your laptops! Clean those dust bunnies under the bed before you break an ankle, and move forward with confidence! Go after what you want! Speak up! (Of course, it's hard to keep your shirt on when you're getting something off your chest.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Suddenly, you're gung ho to get organized in your life. Actually, it's quite admirable. Even you're secretly surprised. You're digging through stacks of paper reorganizing stuff. Since you love to initiate and begin something, no matter how disorganized things are temporarily - the challenge of pulling it all together kinda excites you. Matters connected to vacations, the arts, working with children and even romance and love affairs now find firmer footing. It's also easier to make long-range plans with partners, close friends and clients. Your thinking is shifting more to the future, and your eyes are growing wider with wonder.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
This last Mercury retrograde was a wild ride. Old family contacts, and lots of confusion at home, in addition to family reunions, delays and cancellations in your domestic and private life have left you frazzled! Fear not. Now you can get organized. In fact, the carrot to make this all happen is your desire to have a fun vacation. Romance, love affairs, the arts and everything to do with show business and the entertainment world are suddenly a strong focus for you now. You're not into work: you want to have fun. And you deserve it! Many of you will be more involved with children, either working with them or enjoying playful activities. In the next six weeks, put pleasure first. Whee!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Guess who's glad this Mercury retrograde is over? (Mercury's your ruler, so you're always hit with this madness.) Right now, you're making solid plans connected with children, romance, vacations and the arts. However, in the next six weeks, you'll focus on home, family and domestic issues. Discussions with parental units might be significant. You could pull off real estate deals. It's also a good time for financial speculation. Midst all this activity however, set aside time to ruminate, cogitate, and meditate on life's perplexing intricacies. (Note to self: don't try to solve all life's problems at once. Learn to dread each day as it comes.)
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Fasten your seat belts. "Candygram for Mongo!" The daily tempo of your life is accelerating now. You've got places to go, things to do, people to see. This is a good time to begin courses or tackle increased reading, writing and studying. You have a strong desire to communicate to others now. You've got something you want to say. Many of you will be more involved with siblings as well. Lots of talk going on! This is an excellent year for real estate deals for you. It's also a wonderful time to renovate or fix up where you live. You can enhance the value and the appearance of your home now and in the months to come. Family life is good now. You're even baking!
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
This was a deadly Mercury retrograde. (Naturally, it was in your sign.) But you lived to tell the tale! Actually, the irony is your life swings from being frozen, indecisive, and extremely full of glitches to one that is focused, goal oriented, efficient and practical in a financial way. (Mom would be so proud.) What a turnaround! You're keen to get on top of your financial scene now. And you're quite the wheeler-dealer as well. This is not surprising. Since Mars is hovering at the top of your chart for the next six months, your ambition is aroused. This is a good time to make deals, sign contracts, and agree to negotiations.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
It's your turn to recharge your batteries for the rest of the year. Put yourself first now. It's the one time of year when you must do so. After all, if you don't take care of yourself and your own needs, you'll be of no use to anyone. (It's the same as airborne parents being instructed to put the oxygen mask on themselves first before their children.) Travel plans and matters connected with publishing and the media are exciting. Many of you are keyed up about school (to teach or study.) Cash flow is sweet. You can earn more, and you're spending it as well. (Buying yummy things for yourself about loved ones?)
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
All kinds of stuff from your past bubbled up to the surface lately. Yikes! The end result of it all is that you need rest. You need to lie in the weeds for a while. Your inner harmony and your desire for balance and peace and quiet is strong now. Figure out a way to give this to yourself. Go hide somewhere. (Some place with great linens and wonderful room service.) Even though you need to withdraw somewhat, you do want to pamper yourself because both Venus and Jupiter are in your sign. Oh joy! "This champagne is for me?" Kick back and relax. (The only person who got his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.)
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
It's schmooze city for your sign for the next six weeks. Get out there and play with the best of them. Join clubs. Get active with groups. Accept all invitations. Talk to people. Bounce your ideas off others. Share your goals and your hopes for the future. Feedback from people might be helpful. (Also dogs.) I'm going to keep reminding you that Mars is opposite your sign now until Feb. This stresses your closest relationships. Look upon this as an opportunity to practice patience. The up side is you have the courage to air your grievances and defend your interests. But don't do this in a heated, emotional moment. Wait until 4 a.m. to catch your partner off guard.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
The posse has arrived! The Sun is now at high noon in your chart. You've got lots of energy to work hard. In fact, because Mars is going to linger in the part of your chart connected with employment and work, you can accomplish an enormous amount in the next six months. Delays connected with travel, publishing, foreign countries, law and medical matters are over. Be confident talking to bosses and VIPs. Without doing anything special, you have the respect of others. (They're impressed -- don't question it.) Therefore, if you're asked to take on a special job -- do it. You'll shine!
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
You want to travel. You want to see those telephone poles going by. Basically, you want a change of pace. You also want a deeper and better understanding of religious, political and philosophical matters. Some of you will explore new studies. You will all do something to broaden your horizons and give you a deeper understanding of what life is all about. (If this is possible.) And if you can't swing this, your best consolation is the hope that the things you failed to get weren't really worth having. Bosses and VIPs are impressed with you now. People want your input for artistic matters (design, decorating, whatever.) You can do this! (You've got taste.)
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Ever notice how people respond to people who respond? That's life. Many of you are suffering through major changes in partnerships. Chaos and tension at home dog your steps now. In large measure, partners are difficult to deal with because you are changing. You're prepared to step boldly into the world. You want more for yourself. (It's allowed.) And you deserve it. Therefore, reach out and grab more of life. Right now, your focus is swinging to your external world and your career. You know who you are now -- so what are you going to do about it? Time to sit up and be a person.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Your career in standup tragedy won't fly. Relax. Enjoy good times with friends and partners. The next few weeks are the perfect time to iron out difficulties with others. Hammer out details and contracts. Talk to partners. The Sun is opposite your sign, which makes this a great time to form working units with others. Partnerships can flourish. Consult experts. Get the viewpoint of others. You can learn a lot about yourself now because the Sun seems to act like a mirror for you. When you deal with others, you see yourself and your style reflected in their eyes. Do not withdraw from others; yet don't provoke opposition. (This is tricky.) Compromise is necessary now.
