All Signs
Mercury goes retrograde this month (July 22 - Aug. 16.) But we'll definitely feel its effects before July 22 (Oh yeah.) If your car looks dodgy - attend to it now. Pay your phone bill. Fix whatever looks like it's about to break. Stock the fridge. Buy something snappy to wear. Get that makeup you've wanted. Initiate or begin anything that has to get off the ground. (You don't want to do that during Mercury retrograde.) Hustle thy buns! After that, keep your head down and your powder dry. You've weathered many a Mercury retrograde before. This one happens to be in Leo: expect to watch reruns and favourite old movies. Yes, memory-reruns (and possible replays!) of affairs and old heartthrobs also make your heart go pitter-patter. (Sigh.) Love is blond.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
You are so hot. (Tssst!) Your creative vibes are off the wall! This is the week to sing, dance, sculpt, weave, write, carve, knit, compose, play, or do whatever it is that makes you come alive by expressing your creative talents. You'll also release tremendous amounts of energy. Explore ideas related to the hospitality industry, show business and the entertainment world. Work related to professional sports or children will get a wonderful boost. New love could knock you off your feet. Romance with someone from another culture, or perhaps someone who is richer or more experienced than you -- and possibly all the above --might thrill you. (Be still my beating heart.)
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Everything to do with home, family and domestic matters is very exciting this week. You feel rich (or enriched) in some way. You've got lots of ideas about how to make your digs more attractive. (You love this sort of thing.) In a curious way, improvements made to your home also benefit your work. Family discussions are more optimistic, more mutually giving, and on the whole - happier! Real estate deals are super profitable! Bottom line: everything to do with home, family and real estate will expand in a wonderful, practical, financial and happy way. Get out that sampler and start embroidering "Home Sweet Home."
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
This is a marvelous week for your sign! I'm not even sure why. I simply see that you're super upbeat, optimistic, positive thinking - and incapable of wiping a grin off your face. What's your secret? Of course, positive vibes attract good stuff. People, children and animals hone in on positive energy. (Even traffic lights have been known to cooperate.) Some are excited about new cars, bikes and stuff like that. New cell phones, and exciting news makes you happy to be clued in. But the overall cause is simply your state of mind. You're happy! (Don't apologize. It's allowed.) Since you have to spend the next 10 minutes in some sate of mind -- why not a happy state?
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Not only are you practical, you're the most resourceful signs in the zodiac. This week you have marvelous, moneymaking ideas. Act on them! You have an opportunity to do, write or say something that will truly parlay your pennies into some serious coin. It might be connected with real estate or a family business. Go after that job. Apply for a raise. Trust your abilities to be successful at what you want to do. Your financial scene is extremely blessed now. Some of you have big ideas. With Mars at the top of your chart, and Jupiter at the bottom - you're in the middle of a great celestial sandwich! (Yup - you're cooking with the stars.)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Mercury and Venus are in Leo now - and this week they're kissing cousins with lucky Jupiter. That's why you're excited and happy about something. You feel your life expanding in a wonderful way. You're talking to everyone; and everyone's happy to talk to you. You feel richer and wealthier somehow. (This is cool.) You definitely appreciate what you have. (Appreciation is important.) Now is the time to make plans for publishing, travel, increasing your education, and improving your real estate or domestic scene. Nevertheless, despite all this -- continue to keep a low profile. You need rest and privacy. Put your feet up. I hope someone brought you this paper. (They'll be glad they did because Leos are big tippers.)
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
This week, deeper, more profound issues stir you. Whatever they are, they're rewarding to you personally. They allow you to grow. (Oh no -does this mean it's time to let out another pleat in the shower curtain?) Essentially, you want to know or at least have an inkling of how you fit into the bigger picture. (Oops. That word 'fit' again!) Is there a pattern to all this? Is there meaning in the universe? Does anybody have an answer? Does anyone know the question? In a quantum way, you see absolutely anything is possible, but some things are definitely probable. Some of you see ways to work with the government to make more money. (Good. Money's always handy if you want to buy something.)
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
This is quite a powerful week in many ways. Through your interaction with others, you see that working with people and helping others actually helps you get what you want. (Nice fit.) You're discovering the principal of the win/win phenomenon. Many people know about this; but many don't. (Mostly, one has to discover it oneself. Like great sex.) At another level, you have a better appreciation of the dynamics of the group, and how people interact. New friendships begin now. People from other backgrounds, cultures and countries can teach you a lot and vice versa. You might even learn how to make tortilla soup! (Please tell me how.)
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
At this time, not only do you find it easy to be generous to others, people notice your kindness and your hard working effort on behalf of others. (You can really get some great press out of this.) That's cool. Good ideas always sell themselves. And it's about time we had a good idea! You're probably attracted to somebody very cool right now. Someone polished, more traveled, more experienced. A citizen of the world! (Well, at least parts of Chinatown.) This person seems to bring out the best in you. Especially on your right side. It's good to hang out with people who bring out the best in us -- on either side. (Another win/win phenomenon.)
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
So many things that you love to do are suddenly available to you now. (How lucky is that!) Stay alert for chances to travel, opportunities to increase your education, benefits through the law or legal matters, wonderful publishing opportunities, and positive, rewarding medical experiences. You can have it all! Opportunities like this don't come along every day of the week. Take advantage of them. Be ready to act. Actually, a major aspect of opportunity is readiness. (And the courage to take advantage of an opportunity.) Interaction with friends and groups is part of this equation now. Be open to what comes along. Many lucky opportunities are within your grasp. (Or under the sofa cushions.)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
This is a particularly auspicious week for your sign. Many of you receive gifts, inheritances, advantages, goodies, perks, either directly or through your partner. You definitely will benefit in some way from the wealth of others. This is a good time for legal matters to be decided in your favour. It's also a good time to divide or share things. (One for you, two for me; one for you, two for me.) Your sex drive is strong now too! When the universe is this generous, you feel more secure and more open to exploring relationships of all kinds. You're not as worried about losing your shirt - not when you have 10 more of them hanging in the closet.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
This is a marvelous week for dealing with partners, members of the public, important clients and close friends. This is an excellent time to form partnerships. It's a good time to mend broken fences. It's a great time to get married! In other words, your interactions with others are diplomatic, warm, mutually supportive and very friendly. You give and receive great ideas. Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Everything to do with work, your job, and even your health is unusually favoured this week. Go ahead with plans and ideas that you have. The cooperation you need from coworkers will be there. People are extremely helpful to you now. You feel enormously lucky in terms of your job and your employment scene. It's almost like mana from heaven! The resources you needed to do something are suddenly available. Meanwhile, you're still in pretty mode! Romance, love affairs, vacations and playful activities with children are rewarding. You're spending money without blinking in eye. Life is good. Eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow we diet. (Groan.)
