All Signs
In three weeks, Saturn moves into Leo where it stays until Sept. 2007. One can look back to Sept. 1975 - Nov. 1977 and Jan. 1978 - July 1978, to get a feel for what might take place in the next few years. Saturn is a strong, kitchen sink planet. It's the real deal! (No fluff, no pink spandex.) Saturn will both curtail and strengthen areas it rules. For example, the price of gold will probably drop, and show business, the theatrical world, (including Vegas and Reno) and professional sports will face increased challenges. However, many will look at our love affairs with new eyes. We'll see a deeper value we never saw before. We'll cherish what we have. Similarly, relationships with children will become more meaningful. Saturn is the 'great teacher'. We must fine-tune our expectations - and expect the best! According to Rosebeth Moss Kanter, "Confidence isn't optimism or pessimism, and it's not a character attribute. It's the expectation of a positive outcome."
Aries (March 21-April 19)
As Saturn lines up with Mercury and Venus this week, you start to get a hint of how you're going to be a lot more serious about your creative output. After all, if you don't value what you do or what you create that's a sure guarantee for failure! Ya think? You are the artisan of the zodiac. It's in your blood to create, to explore, to test and try out new things. That's who you are. It's what you do. What's not to value? Your pioneering energy discovered that New World! Grab the bit in your teeth. The next few years will bring you an increased appreciation of children, and a deeper understanding of romance, creativity, the arts and just what it is you're capable of doing.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
This week, as Mercury and Venus line up with Saturn, you'll be serious about life. No time for fun. No time for play. You're making long-range plans and getting very serious about your day-to-day activities. You feel responsible getting things right and doing things properly. "Measure twice, cut once." You want to work smart as well as work hard. All this is in preparation for a more solid domestic situation that you want to establish. No more fleabag hotels. Puleeze. You want home, a hearth and someone to rub your back with Ylang Ylang oil (after they bring your favourite drink.) Nothing wrong with that! You want the good life -- right on your doorstep. (Apparently, half the battle to success is simply expecting it.)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
This week you feel serious about financial matters. After all, money doesn't grow on trees, it grows in low-lying shrubs in posh neighbourhoods. You might be thinking about an important purchase. If you buy something now you want it to be practical and long lasting. You also want to secure your earnings and a long-term way. (Yes, that old bag lady fear still lurks somewhere in the back of your mind.) Relax. Your job never looked better. You just have to wrap your head around the notion that probably, in the next two years, you will have a residential move or a job change. Or both. (Even if you think that is highly unlikely.)
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
This week both Mercury and Venus briefly join Saturn in your sign. This means serious discussions with partners about something. The subject of your concern could be finances or it could be the relationship itself. One thing is certain, when Saturn leaves your sign next month, you will feel like a weight has been lifted from your shoulders. You'll feel lighter, happier and younger! Take a moment and think about this thought: you will never again be as young as you are right now. Never. You're the youngest you'll ever be! Enjoy this. (And of course, it's never too late to grow young.)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Don't be afraid about Saturn moving into Leo. In the last several years, it's been the dark night of the soul for you. Saturn's move into Leo will crystallize and clarify many things in your life. As mentioned in All Signs above, your feelings about love affairs will change. Something you thought was casual, upon closer inspection becomes much more meaningful to you. Your relationship with children -- all children plus your own children - will become more important. This week you're working alone a lot. Create order where you can. You're laying the groundwork for your new life in your new sandbox.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Serious discussions with someone older or more experienced might be helpful for you this week. (Possibly you're the older one dishing out advice.) Either way, important discussions are going down now. You're thinking about your long-term future. Everything has a serious side to it this week because your ruler Mercury brushes shoulders with serious Saturn. You might start to think about dismantling what you created since 1994, certainly since 2001. This is a big step. Somehow, you're going to initiate changes, which ultimately turn your life right around. Friends are helpful now.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Serious discussions about groups, clubs and organizations take place now. Seek out the advice of older, wiser people. (These people are around, but they're not easy to identify. Ask to see their Tom Mix decoder ring.) Your friendships will deepen in the next few years. In fact, you'll grow to value certain friendships. Studies indicate that friendship not only promotes good health, it helps you live longer. Friends are handy if you need to borrow money or a car. A good friend will always help you move (but a true friend will help you move a body.) Of course, friends are not to be used and then discarded; they can be used again and again and again!
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
You're entering one of the most significant phases of your career. (Keep in mind that the word career means your life path. You might get paid for it; you might not.) Prepare to give everything you've got to whatever you're doing. The whole enchilada. In the next few years, you will show the world you can do. You'll also see what needs to be abandoned. This is a very powerful time. On top of this, lucky Jupiter enters your sign in late October where it stays for a year bringing you good fortune and luck. It doesn't get much better than this. (Ready? All together now - "I'm glad to be meeee!")
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Big stuff coming! On July 16th, when Saturn enters Leo (this is good for you) a gorgeous Grand Trine occurs in the fire signs: Venus in Leo, Mars in Aries and Pluto in Sagittarius will form a wonderful triangle. (Each at 22° of their respective sign.) This bodes well for your projects related to publishing, the arts, show business, working with children, planned vacations, travel, dealing with foreign countries, medicine and the law. You'll have to work hard to make it happen -- but they will succeed! Get serious about these areas. You've never been this close to success. Visualize what you want in a perfect world. Imagine it happening.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Many of you will finally settle matters related to shared property, debt, taxes and something you own jointly with others (perhaps the bank.) These are things you want finalized - finally! Partnerships are your major focus now; you want to know what's going on. No more guesswork. Fish or cut bait. Most of you will secure your sense of home and family. When the dust settles, you'll know what you own and what you don't. Your career is still beautifully favoured this year. Privately, you're coming to terms with the responsibilities and obligations you're willing to accept on behalf of others. It feels good to clarify this.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Whenever anything happens to Leo -- it affects you. Leo is 180° opposite your sign. (You and Leo are two ends of the same plank.) Saturn is moving opposite you for the first time since 1978, and in doing so it will transform your closest relationships. Some will end. (Goes with the territory.) All relationships will undergo a change. That's because you're starting to flex your muscles. You're taking your power! Naturally, this brings things to a head. Relationships that demand more than they're worth will be history. The way you handle these confrontations paves the way for your future. Be skillful and compassionate.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
This week you feel overwhelmed with the responsibilities of children, the arts, professional sports and your love life. The trick is to see these responsibilities as an opportunity for growth and for a richer life. If you see them as a burden -- everyone loses, including you. Saturn intends for you to work hard for the next few years. But hey -- it's not for nothing! There's gonna be a payoff at the end. People will see what you can do. But more important -- you will see what you can do. (What a rush that will be!) You're going to turn around your earning power, your career and your job scene in a major way! I kid thee not.
