All Signs
Is this the Chinese curse? Have our interesting times arrived? The Sun and Mercury meet unpredictable Uranus in Pisces; and fair Venus is flirting outrageously with heavy panting Pluto. All this as we approach a Full Moon in Virgo on the 23rd. People feel bolder, more rebellious and more passionate about life! Relationships that begin now will be physical, intense, and hot and heavy. (These aren't the easiest but they're certainly the most memorable.) Our encounter with Uranus guarantees bizarre surprises. Life will take on an Escheresque quality: " I think it's in my basement -- let me go upstairs and check."
Aries (March 21-April 19)
People are very unpredictable this week. (How dare they?) You will feel tension building up in the workplace. (That's the Full Moon happening.) Remember that problems always seem to increase and intensify as the Full Moon approaches. Then once the Full Moon has peaked (in this case on Wednesday the 23rd) these same problems seem to diminish. Go figure. So don't get your belly in a rash over anything. These things will pass quickly. (Especially if you drink lots of water.) One thing to look forward to: a friend, or possibly even a group, will have an enormous impact on you this week. (Maybe Monday.) You'll become very tight with someone. A warm, solid connection!
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
As this Full Moon approaches, you will feel increasing conflict between the demands of romantic liaisons and the demands of friends and groups. It's impossible to keep everyone happy! Just please yourself. If you do that, you'll keep others happy about 75% of the time. Your popularity rating will increase in the next few weeks. Invitations pour in! Expect to meet a real character -- someone unusual or kinda weird. Something surprising will take place. You have a chance to make big changes somewhere - wonderful improvements. You might beautify something or make it more attractive. Some will fall in lust with your boss. (Tread carefully here.)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Events suddenly thrust you in the limelight now. You are noticed! Perhaps increased responsibilities come your way. Fear not, you can handle them gracefully. All this attention competes with your need to focus on home and family. You can't be in two places at once. (Although if anyone could - it would be you!) You can't please everyone. Relationships with someone from another country or another culture are quite stunning this week. You'll learn something that actually shifts your belief system, or makes you see the world in an entirely new light. Travel is exciting. Involvement with the media and publishing is very intense.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
This is quite a sexy time for your sign. (Oh yeah.) Intimate relationships are taken to a whole new level. We're talking about a transcendent merging of two souls and all that. (Remember the ending to the movie Like Water for Chocolate?) Whatever happens will certainly turn your head. It makes you want to run away from home. (Which for you is saying a lot.) Something will occur that makes you see the world with fresh eyes. Naturally, this interrupts your sense of security and stability -- but it's an exciting interruption! You feel alive! You'll also be able to use your resources (and the resources of others) in a whole new way. It's a wonderful, passionate week!
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
You don't like doing things halfway. Fortunately, there's no fear of that this week. Whatever you do - you'll do with intensity and ferocity. You're like a dog with a bone. You won't let go. Relationships will be physical and powerful. (Yum, yum.) All your emotions will have extraordinary force. Many of you will begin intense partnerships. If so, there's a sense of destiny at play. (You love this stuff.) It's handy if you can quote Shakespeare at times like this. "It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves!" (Stuff like that.) Guess who had Jupiter in Leo? Yes, Will - Mister Showbiz. (He was a Taurus with Mercury in Aries and Venus in Gemini like Jerry Seinfeld.)
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
The Sun, Mercury and Uranus are opposite your sign now. And the approaching Full Moon is in Virgo. Hello? (Do we really want all this attention?) That's a moot point -- it's here. The best way to approach this week is with patience. These astrological influences can trigger stress in your closest friendships and partnerships. You feel exceptionally emotional about something. Fortunately, someone at work makes a very strong impression on you now. Your job is a wonderful outlet at the moment. You see ways to improve things and make reforms. Your desire to improve things might be a reflection of your desire to improve your relationship. (Ya think?) But improving your job is easier. And so it goes.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Don't worry too much about the increasing stress you feel at work. It will pass within a week. You'll feel back on top of things then. What blows your mind now (for many of you) is your love life. You're in the grips of palpable passion. (Is there any other kind?) New love will begin for some of you. If so, it will be intense, and the stuff of movies. You'll feel you were meant for each other. The subtext of the relationship is exciting. Everything is physical and overwhelming. (Take notes. This could be a hit movie. But who has time?) Parents experience a new appreciation of relationships with children. Be soft with family members now. Conflict at home will make you unhappy.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Some of you are moving heaven and earth to make big changes at home. You want to improve things. You want better results. You're also turfing what you don't need. Because your sign rules garbage -- when you get rid of things you purge them from your life! (Oy vay.) What you're trying to do his transform your family relationships along with your home environment. You want improvements! Be careful this doesn't trigger stress with children and romantic liaisons. Not everyone is as enthusiastic about your scheme as you are. Unfortunately, they have no choice in the matter. Scorpio does what Scorpio wants.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
The Full Moon this week produces the classic dilemma of how to balance the demands of home and family versus career and your professional life. You feel pulled in both directions. Yet you know that an emphasis on one will cause a neglect of the other. You're caught between a rock and a hard place. Probably home and family should win out. Unexpected surprises, breakdowns of small appliances, computer crashes and sudden company on your doorstep are just some other reasons you cannot ignore your home turf. Relations with siblings are very intense now. You want to get the bottom of something. In fact, you feel obsessed. (Gently, gently.)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
You feel strong and powerful now! Mars is in your sign and this gives you courage, energy, gusto and determination. However, it might make you overly zealous. Hmmm? In turn, this can trigger conflict with siblings, relatives and neighbours. Tread softly here. Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Any day of the week, friendship is extremely important to your sign. But this week -- it's crucial. You will meet someone (or encounter a current friend) who has a very strong influence on you. You feel it was written in the stars. You know this person is in your life for a reason. This excites you. You like pushing the sides of the envelope in order to widen your experience of life. You want to learn from the ideas of others. Quite possibly, a platonic friendship can turn suddenly passionate. That's OK. But lo! Wait before you make a serious commitment. You sometimes act too fast and find out you're married to your roommate. (Oops. Sex with friends is chummy but confusing.)
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
