All Signs
Mercury goes retrograde three times in 2005: March 19 -April 12; July 2 -Aug. 16; Nov. 3 -Dec. 3. However, the effects of Mercury retrograde actually kick in ahead of time. Therefore, even prior to these dates (perhaps by a week or two), you'll notice car problems, transportation delays and confusion in all your day-to-day communications. These time periods are poor times to initiate things or buy ground transportation (automobiles, trucks, bicycles.) They're also poor times to buy Mercury related items like computers, printers, telephones etc. But they're good times to finish up old work! People from the past invariably pop up out of the woodwork. (Always forgive your enemies; nothing could annoy them more.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
This year promises you increased joy through your closest relationships and partnerships. In fact, not only joy and pleasure but possibly profits! This is the year to form partnerships and unions with others. In the past two years, you worked hard to secure your home base. You still have leftover work to do. By late this year and into next year, you'll want very much to know what your meaningful career path in life should be. You no longer want to settle for just a job. You want to find work that is fulfilling, joyful and remunerative. (Money!) You will find this! Ever since 2001, you started your climb toward a career peak about 12 years from now. (Although things are looking very sweet about four years from now as well.)
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
For the past few years, you've been facing job changes and residential moves. Some of these have already taken place; some will take place in 2005. The next few years are all about establishing a solid anchor for you -- a strong home base. Everything to do with employment is beautifully favoured this year, so you have no worries there. Late in the year and into 2006, your relationships bring you joy. This week, life is hot and sexy! Surprise liaisons with friends might catch you off guard. Someone is bolder and more unconventional than you previously thought. It's an opportunity to learn something new, and make you feel young and hip.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
The year 2005 will promise to be one of the most fun-loving, romantic, creative, joyful years you've had in a long time. You feel happier. (And it isn't the drugs.) At this very moment, relations with partners and close friends are a bit testy. You feel quite passionate and sexy this month. But you're also dealing with shared property and things that are jointly held. Perhaps disputes arise here? Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You're trying to do so much right now. It's okay; you have the energy and the drive. (Churchill said, "When you're going through hell, keep going.") Not that life is hellish for you. Au contraire. Your home and family life will be so lovely this year, how bad can it be? Remember too, that this is a great year for real estate. Some of you will literally expand your families through birth. Expect to hear from people who are far away or in distant lands. Surprises related to publishing, the media and higher education are also likely. This is going to be a great year for you! Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Continue to streamline your environment by getting rid of things. (All kinds of stuff; this might even include people.) Know that this year will be optimistic, upbeat, and full of more short trips, reading, writing and studies. Excellent for all communications! Relations with siblings will hugely improve. This month you're working hard because it feels good. You're gung ho, so stay with it. This week, new opportunities (perhaps related to electronics and technology) come to you in your job. All kinds of unpredictable qualities exist at the moment regarding work. Power failures and computer crashes are remote possibilities as well. Oops. Charge that cell!
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
This is a fun month! And of course, you have a smile on your face knowing that this year you'll earn more money! (How sweet it is.) Money is so handy when you want to buy things. Unexpected flirtations and promises for new romance definitely come your way this week. You might notice this; you might not. It depends how open you are to this possibility. Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
