All Signs
With the Harvest Moon behind us, and the weather starting to turn, there's a sense of endings now (the summer, the year, etc.) But astrologically speaking, it's also a time of beginnings. The Solar Eclipse on the 13th holds much potential for us. We can all improve and start life anew! First Mercury, then the Sun, Mars, Venus and finally Jupiter take turns receiving the transforming powers of Pluto. This gives us a wonderful opportunity to begin new habits, new jobs, new relationships, new living conditions, and new lifestyles that are better and superior in every way. Each new moment offers the birth of all things that are possible. It's easy to forget this. (And of course, for the person who has everything -- there's always penicillin.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
In All Signs above, I mention that the current movement of planets offers us an opportunity to learn how to improve and better ourselves in some area of our lives. For your sign, this improvement is directly related to your closest relationships and partnerships. This includes partnerships that are intimate or professional; it also includes your closest friendships. You're learning how to act in order to receive the greatest satisfaction from your relations with others. However, forget about trying to improve others. (Because that's your impulse.) Instead, focus on how you can improve your relationship with others. Think how they see and react to you. What do you have to offer?
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You're at the brink of so much right now with respect to your employment scene. All things are possible in your job this year! You can turn everything around so dramatically it will make your head spin. Even if your working conditions are actually miserable, within the next year, your job can become a source of joy and accomplishment. One obvious way this will happen is that your job will actually change. But whether you get a new job, or new duties, or a new boss (that will probably help!) -- you can count on becoming happier and more productive in your work. It's already beginning this week with new resources, support and assistance from others. (About time.)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Amazing things are happening in your life in the realm of children, the arts, your creative talents, and your romantic life. This is a hugely exciting time! Your domestic life and your relations with home and family are cozy. In fact, many of you are decorating and renovating to make things more lovely and appealing where you live. Exciting getaway vacations are promising. Your love life can turn into something quite passionate and powerful as well. (Goody.) Essentially, you're discovering new ways of relating to world so that you have more fun and more freedom. You want to do things on your terms. You're not going to cater to others any more. You're going to go after what you want.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Cancer is the "Big Tit" (the nurturer) and the "Barnacle" (you never let go.) Starting now and for the next year, you can make wonderful improvements to your home and your style of relating to family members and where you live. The most obvious changes will be physical in terms of decor or location. You're giving everything a facelift! Home repairs and decorating ideas create wonderful improvements everywhere. But at a more subtle level, repairs and improvements are taking place within your family dynamic as well. This is so important. Changes are taking place where they really matter. That's why the year ahead so beautifully favours home, family and real estate for your sign. (There's no time like the pleasant!)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
This is a very curious time for Leos. The potential for rebirth and improvement in many areas (referred to in All Signs above )certainly exists. In this sense, you're at brink of so much that is new. And yet, most of you still have so much to give up and let go of! You are a Fixed Sign (no matter how many kids you have) and because of this you don't make important changes casually. The task of streamlining your possessions, modifying relationships, and actually giving up things gives you pause. (Little furry ones.) You hate to make mistakes. Should you give away that cashmere turtleneck even though you haven't worn it for five years? Sigh. Decisions, decisions.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
You're going to earn more money this year. It's not going to fall from the sky like magic. (Although that would be nice.) Starting now, you're going to think of better ways to earn money and better ways to attract money, possessions and resources to you. The degree to which you can do this will determine just how much comes your way. You're probably spending more right now as well. You're starting to feel like a swinger who is finally in the game. Think seriously about what you actually want. Be specific, not general. What do you specifically want to own? How do you want to establish better control of your life through your money and your possessions?
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Each of us now has an opportunity to improve our lives somehow. For your sign, this happens very close to home. We're talking body, appearance, self-image, personality and even your health. It's show time! Most Librans are not keen to exercise. You're more concerned with getting a decent table at a good restaurant. You love style, schmoozing, a marvelous ambience, and a swell time with fascinating people. But you do like to look good. That's why you're on a new kick with exercise, diet, and your wardrobe. Your relations with others are changing too. You're bolder and yet warmer and more generous. "Garcon! More whiskey and fresh horses for my men!"
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
By nature you're secretive. You play your cards close to your heaving bosom. Because of this, the ways you can improve your life now are subtle and perhaps obvious only to you. Many of you will undergo a spiritual transformation. (Sounds fuzzy and vague, I admit; but whatever takes place at your inner core radiates outward changing every aspect of your life. No?) Not only will you make friends with your deepest values by recognizing them, and forgive yourself for your shortcomings (hey, you're human); you'll also learn how to deal with "your enemies" more skillfully. You'll improve your mind and your motivation. You'll learn how to be a positive influence in the world for yourself and others. (Like wow!)
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
You have such a popular year ahead! This doesn't happen overnight. This takes place because you're adopting a new style of relating to others. You might change your views about certain clubs, organizations and groups. Some friends will fall by the wayside; new friends will turn up on your speed dial. A lot of this has to do with the fact that you're changing your goals and your dreams for the future. You no longer want to be part of the Big City where people are lonely together. You want meaningful involvement with others. And you want your life be more meaningful through your involvement with others. (You're getting' involved.)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
This is an important time. You can transform your career and your life path. You can change your public image and your reputation. You're ready to do this because your ambition is aroused now. (You're hot to trot.) Please note: ideally, you should do this sooner than later, because resources that are available to you now might diminish in 2005-06. You're headed for a marvelous career peak about five years down the road. Now is the time to reform circumstances that you've been unhappy with. Make these changes. Clean up messy situations. You don't have to tolerate them anymore. (As Churchill told his teacher when corrected for ending a sentence with a preposition: "This is the sort of thing up with which I shall not put.")
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Right now, you're staring at opportunities in your immediate future to improve matters connected with publishing, higher education, dealing with foreign countries, the law and medicine. You might change your direction in terms of education. You might make travel plans. In some way, you have a chance to wield creative power for the good. If you can do something that improves things for others (as well as yourself) you will be very fortunate. There's a equality now all of things coming back to you multi-fold. Therefore, give some thought to what you put out. Capice?
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
You have a wonderful opportunity now to benefit others and in doing so, ultimately benefit yourself. It's a win/win possibility! Start by cleaning up anything messy related to joint holdings, shared possessions, debt, credit, and fuzzy notions of who is responsible for what. Make this very clear. Clean up whatever is confusing. If you do this, things will be better for others as well as yourself. Get to the bottom of whatever problem you're working on. You'll be able to do this quite quickly now. Don't put things off. Don't overlook details. Roll up your sleeves and dig in
