All Signs
Whew! Wild and wacky Uranus opposes a gaggle of planets in Virgo right now; and as you know, any brush with Uranus triggers shocks, accidents and unpredictable events (pleasant or otherwise.) Fortunately, while this is percolating, Venus and Saturn offer support and stability from the sidelines. A port in the storm (or brandy if you prefer.) Plus, we're dealing with the New Moon in 'hold me touch me' Leo. And let's not forget Mercury is retrograde! Yup. It's memorable stuff, folks. Don't leave home without your alibi. Nevertheless, until it slips into the unchangeable past - life continues to offer opportunities for growth, change and the discovery of a low-calorie, struggle-free way of existence.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
It's a good thing your home and family scene are supportive, because surprises, delays, and conflict at work are driving you crazy. However, if you analyze some of this insanity, you'll see that your own sense of rebellion and independence is a factor. (Moi?) You're back to singing your theme song: "My Way." Quit laying down ultimatums. If people around you have Aries in them (and they probably do) they simply hear this as an irresistible challenge to fight you. Follow your wonderful creative, romantic impulses. Exciting new changes at home (new art and unusual people) plus surprises connected with real estate bring added zing to your life. Avoid conflict. Go where the going is easy.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Your focus continues to be on home, family, your personal life and real estate. However, lots of past stuff connected with children, romance, vacations and the arts is on your plate now. Siblings and neighbours are a source of surprise. And yet at the same time, this is comforting to you. Be extra patient with children. Avoid unnecessary spats. Parents must be vigilant with children because this is also an accident-prone time. Arguments, power struggles, rebellious ego conflicts only upset your domestic harmony. Who needs this? When it comes to raising kids, remember the advice of Goethe: "Criticism does much, but encouragement does more."
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Family reunions and encounters with relatives and old family matters might be stressful now. There's a lot of "he said, she said" going on. Be careful of family gossip. Unkind remarks, or tattletale tidbits about relatives who aren't present to defend themsleves (of course!) only promote dissension. Why say anything that makes someone think less of someone else? It's completely negative. And remember what Confucius said: He who flings dirt only loses ground. Nevertheless, you're justified in rebelling against authority that is controlling or too pushy. Career opportunities and new ways of making money are promising. Fill your databank and wait until September 3rd to act.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You're definitely plagued with transportation delays (cars and trucks that won't run), plus breakdowns in communications (phones cut off, dead batteries in cell phones, and lost address books.) These delays and confusion make you impatient with daily contacts, neighbours and siblings. But your own impatience only makes you miserable. That's the catch! This is one of life's cruel hoaxes. Even though all kinds of new ideas, unusual people, and opportunities for travel and education appear on your plate - you're hung up arguing with someone. Don't even go there. It promotes nothing. Take the high road. Work on stabilizing real estate and domestic issues. This is what matters most in the long run.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Old business with past partnerships and contact with ex partners is unavoidable. As long as you're looking good, you don't mind this. However, these encounters could be argumentative, especially if you think you have to prove something, or you want to win a point or be right. Possibly, somebody refuses to respect your natural sense of authority. (All Leos are royalty.) Anger that you've been holding back now suddenly explodes. You're not going to take this anymore. "I've got to be me!" That's why your life might take a radically new direction. Meanwhile, a new friend could encourage you to be gutsy about going after what you want. (If you've been leading a dog's life, stay off the furniture.)
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Murky stuff from the past is here. This ain't easy. Mercury is retrograde in Virgo, and Mars in your sign now opposes Uranus. (Gulp.) This makes you restless, rebellious, and frustrated as you deal with unresolved stuff. Fortunately, friends offer solace and comfort. In fact, someone older or more experienced can give you advice, guidance and help introduce stability and growth into your life in a lovely way. Go with what's positive! If others are nasty -- avoid them. Unexpressed anger and bottled up rage might surface. If you're unaware of this, you could be accident-prone. Be careful. (Hope is the feeling you have that the feeling you have isn't permanent.)
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
You're dealing with stuff you thought was put to bed years ago! Skeletons are coming out of the closet. Since you can't change the past, the only opportunity this offers is a chance for better self-understanding. Plus, if similar situations arise in the future, you'll have a better idea about what to do. Aside from these kinda spooky personal issues, everything else looks good. Career opportunities are fabulous. Your reputation is solid and extremely favoured. (Your bathroom mirror is covered in kisses.) Quick, sudden chances to boost your good name come your way now. Enjoy schmoozing with friends. Tra la tra la.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
It's a Mexican standoff with someone. Could be your boss, your parent or an authority figure in your life. Growing feelings of independence make you more rebellious. New ideas, philosophies and contacts with different and unusual people set you in a new direction, as you revise your goals. It's important to know what you want because your chance of getting it is quite imminent. You don't have time to stray or feel your way. This is not a dress rehearsal. It's the real deal. Stabilize matters connected with publishing, the media, higher education, travel and dealing with foreign countries. This is a time firm decisions, or is it?
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
You play the nice guy routine. You cover your pain with breezy humour. This can only go on for so long before your mask starts to crack. Now you're riding the razor's honeyed edge. You're ambitious for your own wants and needs, which means you're going to stand up to authority figures come hell or high water. You want to break free from intolerable restrictions. (Freedom is your middle name.) Old business with bosses, parents and VIPs finally forces your hand. It's OK. The support you need from others will be there. You can pull off whatever you want. Shake loose from your chains! (Once you've heard the truth, everything else is cheap whiskey.)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
You feel you're being tested right now. It could be about your faith, your belief in something, your politics or anything connected with foreign countries, publishing, the media or higher education. You've been down this road before. But this time you're going to make a stand. No matter how much you try, you can't really get things under control. Let's face it: if life is really under control -- you're dead. Living fully involves faith and trust in your future. As Agnes DeMille said, "...we take leap after leap in the dark." Partnerships and friends will help you now. Figure out your resources, your debt, and what you've got to work with. Once you know this, you'll see what your options are.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Your financial scene is a bit of a crapshoot. You're not sure what's going on. Ex partners are in your life. Disputes with others about shared possessions and joint property (this includes inheritances, debt and insurance matters) makes you angry. But anger serves no purpose. It only clouds your thinking, and makes you and everybody else around you miserable. Fortunately, something or someone can stabilize your job, your health and your work scene. Accept what is offered to you! It's true that it's easier to give than to receive. But most Aquarians are on the receiving end of life right now. This makes you nervous. You're afraid of feeling obligated. You don't like anything threatening your independence and freedom. Relax! Enuff awreddy.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
You really have to be patient dealing with others now, especially partners and old friends. Somebody might make a sudden move against you. You might feel that someone is actually out to get you. (Even paranoids have enemies.) Certainly, disruptive forces (especially about unresolved issues) are out there staring you in the face. Possibly, somebody wants to block your efforts to do something. You think you're just trying to get organized and on top of things, but somebody else is threatened by your actions. If someone resists what you're trying to implement, you've got to take a look at this. Each person has his or her own reality and take on things. If you ride roughshod over what others want, you're only going to have to deal with this again in about six months from now. Twain was right: History doesn't repeat itself; it rhymes.
