All Signs
Thankfully, Mercury is now direct. The week ahead is powerful in terms of getting things done. Apparently Hitler used to initiate his battles two or three days before the Full Moon. This implies a swift fruition or resolution. This next Full Moon is a doozy. It's in a Fixed Sign and that fixed sign is Scorpio! On that particular day, Jupiter turns direct and Mercury trines Pluto. The impulse of not only this week, but the entire month will be to move mountains in order to achieve goals. (That mountain moving part can get messy. Especially when they don't clean up everything and all those little stones get tracked in everywhere. Ya know?) My piano teacher used to say: "When you sweep the floor just worry about the corners -- the middle will take care of itself."
Aries (March 21-April 19)
You've been giving some thought to philosophy, politics or life belief systems lately. I'm not saying that you have necessarily "found religion!" But something like that is going on. You're looking at things more deeply. And not in an abstract way but rather, in a kitchen-sink-reality approach to life. It's empowering! You see that your belief about whether or not you can do something is half the battle. This is so true. Our self-imposed limitations define our reality. Ever since 2003, you're on your way up in the world. In the next few years, you'll get in touch with your true career path. You will sing your song. The question is: will anyone put money in the hat?
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You guys are financial wizards! You get the most bang for your buck. (You love your creature comforts and you know how to live well.) This week you're studying your finances, and getting all your ducks in a row. You'll clear up matters related to wills, inheritances, insurance, taxes, debt and bills, as well as loose details related to shared property and the joint ownership of anything. You see that a job or residential change is imminent. But first, a little nosh. Treat yourself to vacations and weekend getaways to fun places. This is the year to have fun! Romance and love affairs look sweet. Playful activities with children are joyful and rewarding. Financial speculation also looks very promising.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Your life is swinging from higgly piggly to sure straight arrow. It was nuts when Mercury was retrograde. Now quite the opposite comes into play. Whatever you set into motion actually brings results! You can swiftly and effectively get a desired outcome, especially through the efforts of others. You have an agenda now, and you're not going to deviate from it. Talk to friends and groups. Get them on board. You can convince and persuade people to do what you want. Similarly, somebody else might convince and persuade you to move in a new direction. Either way -- stuff gets done! Watch out world: she's packin' a daytimer -- and she knows how to use it.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You'll have an opportunity to speak out about important issues related to work. Others will listen! Bosses, VIPs and parents are swayed by your words. One of the reasons you're so convincing is that you personally are obsessed about something right now. This allows you to concentrate and focus all your energy in one direction. Obsessions can be nasty, or they can be extremely useful. Your ability to work with friends or groups is so powerful right now, you're like the Pied Piper. One May 7th, Mars moves into your sign (for the first time in a few years) giving added punch and zest to all your words. You mean what you say and you say what you mean! Yesiree pahdner.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
This is quite a powerful time for you. The Sun is at high noon in your chart. Friends are supportive and helpful, which means nice schmoozey times are taking place. You're making a lot of money, and you're spending it as well. In general, your wealth and assets are increasing. This week specifically, you're taking the larger view of life. You want to see how all the parts fit together. Travel, philosophy, foreign countries, other languages, and completely different opinions from your own -- all intrigue you now. You know your life is changing. What you need now is the treasure map to make sure you're headed for that pot of gold. In this case, gold doesn't mean money. It's whatever gives you joy and fulfillment.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Like Gemini, your life will now get on track in a pleasant way. Mercury retrograde periods are terrible. They're not bad in a serious way; they're just extremely frustrating because many minor details go wrong. This hassle is over now! By contrast, Mercury teams up with Pluto this week to direct your energy with effective focus. You'll be working a lot with the possessions or the wealth of others. You can turn some of this to your own advantage, especially within your family structure or at home. You can plan improvements and reforms to how you handle shared property, the joint ownership of things and even your own life. In various, subtle ways, you're becoming a better, stronger person! Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
You're absorbed with ideas for self-improvement. This is excellent. Hidden beneath family photos, takeout menus and announcements pinned to my fridge, is a card that says: "Without a wish to avoid faults, one cannot keep from them." (This has nothing to do with Haagen-Dazs - ice cream.) This means the first step towards improving yourself or the surroundings around you is your wish to do so. First comes the thought, then comes the word. The word becomes the deed, and the deed soon becomes habit. Habit eventually hardens into character. So this is why you have to watch your thoughts and make them loving and kind. Personally, I like butter pecan.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Although your primary focus is on partnerships and close friends this month, (especially how to learn from them and improve them) in fact, this week you'll make enormous strides at work! Your mind is focused, sharp, and penetrating like a hot knife cutting through butter. (You butter believe it.) Your ideas will introduce reform and improvement to how things are done, as well as introduce ideas that make more money or boost your income. You're doing a lot of talking about your job. Similarly, you might be doing a lot of thinking about your health as well. Scorpio is the sign of medicine and psychology. You're not superficial. Oh no. Scorpio is where the buck stops!
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
There are probably more Sagittarians in Las Vegas and Reno than any other sign. They're there dealing, gambling and serving drinks. Yeah yeah, many others are hiking the West Coast Trail or publishing books at Harvard. But the bottom-line is into this: you guys are gamblers. You'll always play the long shot. Right now you're assessing financial speculation. But you're doing your homework first. You're also making serious plans for vacations; as well as having bottom-line discussions with children. These areas matter to you. You want to set things right. It's all part of your "I'm-getting-my-life-organized" kick this month.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
You're busy on two fronts right now. On one hand, romance, love affairs, vacations, parties plus fun times with children and recreational events fill your days. On the other hand (the one holding the broom) you're making sweeping changes within your family structure or at home. Repairs, cleanups and improvements (possibly even residential moves) keep you busy. Keep it up! Whatever changes you introduce to your home scene or your family structure will ultimately give you a superior result. You're on a roll. (Actually, it's a buttery croissant.) It's important to believe in your future. You are going to rise to a time of success and fruition about seven years from now.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
It's down-home week for your sign. You're quite absorbed with family events and your domestic living conditions. You might be contemplating a move. Something is different about your home scene, that's for sure. Plus, you're talking to parents more than usual. (Be nice.) Playful times with children are particularly rewarding. Professional sports and romance are lots of fun this week. But the big deal is your ability to influence, sell, teach and communicate to others now. You are mega strong! Your powers of persuasion are unbeatable. This is the time to write, sell, market and talk to everyone. Yadayadayada.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
You busy little bunny! You've got places to go, things to do, people to see. Not only do you have a jam-packed schedule, chaos and major changes at home also require lots of attention. Matters at home require patience as well. Home improvements might be tearing your place apart. Just make sure they don't do this to your family relationships too. After all, it's only stuff. Stuff is never in the same category as people. People matter. Stuff doesn't. Except for your baby blue blanket. That's different. (That goes without saying.)
