All Signs
Most people know that the 12 signs are four elements, but few know that each sign is also Cardinal, Fixed or Mutable. The Cardinal signs are Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. This group is the first "in." They move fast. They have initiative. They're pioneering go-getters; and they hate periods of indecision. The Fixed signs are Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius. These people are slower to change, not easily dislodged. They know who they are, and have a natural sense of their boundaries. They hate emotional instability. (Oy vay!) The Mutable signs are Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces. They love variety and change. They adore travel. They're flexible and they adapt quickly. But they hate to be tied down. (Unless it's recreational.) Study the above carefully. There's a midterm next Wednesday.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
It's been social lately; but now, your schmooze factor increases even more. Expect to chat up groups and friends, especially young people. In the last week, three planets shifted signs: Mercury into Aquarius; Venus into Aries; and Mars into Taurus. You're extra charming, eager to socialize and ready to spend money! You've got lots to say to everyone! The fact that you feel more stable in your home life combined with improvements taking place at work makes you feel more positive, upbeat and hopeful about your future. And so you should be. This is a wonderful time to buy wardrobe items. Check the All Signs in my daily column to avoid bad shopping times.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Suddenly, you're raring to go! Fiery Mars hasn't been in your sign for almost two years. (That's too long to go without a boost like this.) Now you're ready to strut your stuff. You feel confident, bold and more assertive than usual. You're in the limelight more and you don't mind it one bit. Because Mars rules the military and it's now in your sign, you are much more of a fighter for your own rights than usual. (And Mars will stay in Taurus until March 20th.) Mars also rules the muscles so your physical energy level is strong. You're a hard worker any day of the week - but now - "watch my dust!"
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
You need to blow town. You want to see new faces, new places and have thrill and chills in a foreign land. You want more stimulation! (You don't do boring.) Fortunately, you don't have to travel to get new motivation. Any kind of new study or course work will thrill you as well. There's lots happening with respect to publishing, the media and legal matters. Beware of secret enemies. If you think something fishy is going on, it probably is. Fortunately, friends and groups are unusually supportive to you now and in the month ahead. In fact, some friends could become lovers. (Well, there's support and then there's support.)
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
There's lots of activity shifting at the top of your chart. Your ability to research and sleuth out answers that you seek is practically uncanny. You rule! Armed with this new info, you're more aggressive with friends and groups that you work with. ("Don't mess with the kid.") Information is power. That's why many of you are on a cozy footing with bosses, VIPs and authority types. Let's face it -- you've got the goods. You know where the bodies are buried. Your interest in clearing up details related to shared property is strong now. Your interest in hot, steamy sex is even stronger. (You kid, you.)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
There is definitely a shift at this time in your energy, your interests and the things that you're involved with. You have a clearer idea of what you want. And you intend to get it. Your ability to express these wants and desires to partners, friends and the general public is succinct now. ("Me want. Give now.") On top of this, because your appreciation of beauty is heightened (for the next two months) lots of different things suddenly delight you now. You're keen to explore new ideas, philosophies and new approaches to life. You love to expand your world; but you don't do it willy-nilly. You check out the goods before you buy. (Oh yeah.)
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
You're in the fortunate position of being on the receiving end of some gifts and goodies in the next few months. Keep your pockets open and be ready to say thank you. Don't refuse gifts out of false modesty or pride. The way generosity works is there's a giver and a givee. It's important to learn to give in life. One becomes a better person by practicing generosity. But how can you practice generosity if no one will receive what you give? That's where you come in this month. Help others earn merit and Brownie points by letting them give you money, gifts, opportunities, loans and assistance - even love. All you have to do is receive this generosity graciously. Is that so hard? (Actually, it is.)
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Pleasure and playful, prankish times continue to please you. If you're in a creative field -- you're hot now! Your artistic expression is dying to escape. ("Lemme out!") In fact, your feelings of sexuality are strong in the next month. These feelings might be expressed directly through lots of chesterfield rugby (does anyone remember that expression?) or they could be sublimated into fabulous, creative activity. Either way, you should be busy and you're sure to enjoy yourself. Conflict about shared property is possible. But with Venus opposite your sign, you'll have no trouble smoothing over any problems that arise. (Nevertheless, make your words sweet and tender in case you have to eat them.)
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Three planets have shifted this week and you'll notice a difference: Mars to Taurus; Venus to Aries; and Mercury to Aquarius. You're a Fixed sign (don't worry, you can have kids) and Mars and Mercury have just moved into Fixed signs. This doesn't mean that things will be all fixed up. Quite the contrary. You'll have to demonstrate grace under pressure. A little diplomatic patience, charm and understanding will go a long way now. Especially with partners, close friends and family members. (And the out-laws.) Fortunately, things are going swimmingly with coworkers and matters connected with employment. You win some; you lose some.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
You're really out there hustling now! You're so keen to communicate, sell, persuade, influence, talk, teach or even write -- nothing can hold you back. Financial speculation looks promising. You're willing to work hard now, and yet (ever true for your sign) you're willing to play hard as well. You can make money from art or investments in creative areas. Love and romance get a lovely boost in the month ahead. You know you've got what it takes and suddenly you know how to market your goods. (Your sign can sell anyone the Brooklyn Bridge - plus insurance for it.) This is a good time to enjoy yourself. Have fun!
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
You're working hard to make money now. Many of you are speculating in financial investments; most of you are buying art or beautiful things for your home or loved ones. You can sense that you're out of the gate now and running. From here on, you'll have a steady rise to your career peak in life. Right now family members and your domestic situation in general are pleasing and supportive. This gives you a warm feeling in your tummy. Because of this increased contentment -- you naturally radiate softer, more welcoming vibes to others. The result? New love and romance can come your way in months ahead. (Stock the fridge with oysters.)
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Life is becoming chaotic at home! Moves, renovations, redecorating, visiting guests or changes in your family dynamic make things harried, stressful and kinda nuts right now. In turn, this promotes conflict with family members. You need this like a fish needs a bicycle. It's here for the duration (about the next two months.) So figure out how to handle it in a way that makes you happiest. Remember: the goal in life is to be happy. The tough part is figuring out what makes you happy. But you know what makes you unhappy. Start by avoiding that. With Mercury in your sign now, you need to communicate to others. Venus in Aries makes you charming and irresistible. (This irritation at home is small potatoes, actually.)
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
When the going gets tough, the tough go shopping. Oh yeah. I hope there are some good shoe sales out there. Ditto for cameras and clothes. Your ability to earn money as well as spend money in the next two months is very strong. It's as if you're actually dying to part with your cash. You're spending on loved ones and yourself -- buying beautiful, artistic things as well as a fun experiences. (Sounds good to me.) Tension with siblings and daily contacts might increase now. Remember what your objective is. Resist a knee-jerk reaction to tell someone off. Patience is always the best choice. (Less egg on your face that way.)
