Now that Mercury is no longer retrograde, life becomes more manageable. And the Full Moon is behind us as well. That means that this week, things swing into action with surprising vigor. Lots of fresh opportunities and unusual 'people contacts' pop up everywhere. Fresh flirtations will be tempting to many. New people arriving in one's life could become hobbit-forming. This could mean that some will drop others from their dental plan. Of course, nothing as serious as an orphandectomy (where you have your parents removed.) Actually, I feel very fortunate because my parents turned out pretty well. I think it's because I always gave them firm boundaries and let them know that no matter how they acted -- I still loved them.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
You've got the powah! With Mars in your sign and the Sun at high noon you are saucy and hot. You've got energy, drive and purpose. This is definitely the time to make your bid at work. Ask for what you want. Cozy up to the boss and put your cards on the table. You've got a winning hand and Lady Luck is with you. Since this is the year where you can improve your employment scene -- let's get serious about it right now. You might not win the first round; but at least others will know what you want. Just remember: you're never really working for someone else. Pride of accomplishment is always your own.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
This is the perfect time for you to take a vacation. You need to spread your wings. You might meet new, unusual and interesting people this week. This can happen if you're traveling; it can happen if you're at home in your regular routine. Romantic spores are in the air! New love can begin; existing relationships can heat up. Don't let your inclination to play it safe deny you newfound fun and pleasure. You can't sit around with attitude envy. Get out and grab some life for yourself. Be open to new possibilities, especially in relationships. Try to adopt Mae West's philosophy, "I've been things and done places."
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Lots of wonderful opportunities are within your grasp this week. Unexpected offers from bosses, parents and VIPs might take you in a new direction. In addition to this, support from partners and external sources can benefit your home, family and real estate scene. Everything is in place now. If you want support and assistance from others -- you'll get it. If you're thinking about self-employment and heading out on your own -- this is a good time to try it. Someone once said, "You are only as big as your dreams." And it's true. Work with others now to achieve your goals. Your home base is extremely favoured this year.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Like last year, this year Saturn continues to move through your sign. This can make some of you feel older and stiff in the joints. About 14 years ago, when Saturn opposed your sign -- things were tough. However, at that time you made some new beginnings. The proof of the pudding is now. You are either reaping a successful conclusion to whatever you started -- or seeing clearly that you have to change. Saturn tends to make you feel cut off, confined and restricted. But this is really so that you will channel your energy clearly in one direction. Yes it's a time of perseverance and hard work. But there is an enormous potential for reward. You're creating a new world for yourself.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Many of you are in a state of transition now. You're starting to wrap up things and let go of much of what you worked to create in the last 13 years. But it's not a time of loss. It's more a time of clearing out and creating a space for something new to come in to your life. Continue to go through closets, cupboards, garages, basements and lockers to streamline, minimize and lighten your load. You're getting ready for a whole new scene in 2005-06. And you can't take it all with you. Most of you will definitely earn more money this year. And you'll spend it as well. (Of course, the quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it in your pocket.)
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
You are the favoured sign this year because lucky, moneybags Jupiter is in Virgo until September. You have to use this to your advantage! (You'd be nuts not to.) Right now, romance, creative opportunities, the arts, and activities with children bring pleasure and rewards to you. New relationships begin; and existing relationships take on a fresh, new slant. You're discovering that it's all right to be just who you are. You don't have to try to be someone else. Everything you need to get where you want is right within you. This isn't just feel good talk. Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
You're hugely focused on home issues, domestic situations and family matters now. Ditto for real estate deals. Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
You feel more optimistic and positive about your life now. There are many reasons why you feel so upbeat. But one of them is because you sense you're getting close to some of your cherished dreams. (And you are.) Good times with friends can take place this week. Romance, flirtations and fun parties keep you pumped and ready for action. All this and you're working hard too! Make sure you take time out to play. Like Aries, you are playful sign. But sometimes even you forget it. (Maybe it's time to take a maturity leave from work.)
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Small wonder you are so strongly focused on money issues right now. (Cash flow, important purchases, as well as figuring out new ways to earn money.) This year you're hot! You can definitely expect increased opportunities to promote your career. This could be in the form of job offers, job promotions, and introductions to important people who can help you. Increased travel related to your job is likely. Some of you may switch to work linked to medicine, the law, higher education, publishing and travel or dealing with foreign countries. This week surprise gifts and purchases make your home and family scene more attractive. Invite the gang over. Great week to entertain. There's no time like the pleasant.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
This is going to be a great year for you because Jupiter in a fellow Earth sign is very good for you. It boosts your health and your general feeling of well-being. It's considered to be a "lucky" influence. Naturally, this makes this a great year for financial matters as well. It attracts favourable situations and helpful people to you. You'll probably make your surroundings more elegant, larger and more luxurious. You might expand your wardrobe. You have much to look forward to! The only downside is it could promote weight gain. (Oh well, if you eat in the dark it doesn't count. And anyhow, a waist is a terrible thing to mind.)
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

That's because you're working hard and you can't be all things to all people. Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
