All Signs
It's top of the ninth and the bases are loaded. It's December and we're all coming down the homestretch. (Yes, I realize the jockey's at bat.) Mercury goes retrograde from the 17th to January 6th. And the Full Moon takes place in Gemini on Monday. But the big news is that Mars finally leaves Pisces on December 16th. It stayed there for six months instead of its usual seven-week sojourn! Like a stuck CD, this triggered tons of weird activity in the world. Things will start to return to normal (whatever that is.) Lots of us will feel that the pressure is "off". Emerson said, "Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we do."
Aries (March 21-April 19)
As you can see from All Signs above, there's a lot happening. But the overall picture is very simple for your sign: juicy favours come to you at work at some point this week. Your job was destined to improve this year, and this week is one of the first major steps where you will see and feel this improvement. Suddenly, bosses notice you! You might not get a raise or promotion in the next few days; but somehow the penny drops, and the future of your employment takes a lovely turn. Your loyalty finally pays off. Appreciation is forthcoming. Don't crow about this. Accept this graciously -- dare we say modestly? (When you're hot -- you're sizzlin'.)
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Exciting travel plans could bring major changes your way this week. Something that feels like a vacation from your otherwise routine existence shines like a promising star on the horizon. Opportunities connected with education, publishing and the law are also exciting. New romance with someone from another country or culture (kinky and exotic) is likely for many of you. The Full Moon highlights financial stress; but this is peanuts compared to the goodies that will come your way starting this week. Whether you've been bad or good, naughty or nice -- thank you, Santa!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
You can really boost your real estate assets this week. In some fashion everything to do with your domestic world, your real estate, your family, your home and your private life -- all these -- benefit in some way through the wealth of someone else. Gifts, inheritances, loans, mortgages, and increased salaries and bonuses to partners are just some of the ways you will gain something. At an intangible level, your family life will become more joyful and richer in warmly, bonded experiences. Let's face it -- some kind of payoff is coming down for you. It's sweet. It's free. And you're gonna profit from it. What's not to like?
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
All your closest relationships (and some that are not so close) blossom beautifully this week. It's the beginning of a lot of true healing. Deeper, richer understanding between partners, siblings, relatives (and even neighbors) brings joy and happiness into your life. You know that you are truly out of the woods now. (What a struggle.) The generosity you encounter in your daily world inspires you. It's good to be inspired. Inspiration is the key to action. Inspiration leads to effort, which leads to accomplishments. Translation: you're going places, babes. And the reason this is so is that you believe. Amen. (Chorus riff here.)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
You are truly starting to make more money and get more benefit from your job and from your efforts to organize your world. Mind you, this increased income immediately translates into increased spending, which translates into increased assets. Suffice to say the cash is flowing. If you've been generous in the past -- it's bubbling right along. If you find it hard to be generous -- this flow will be just a trickle. (Don't ever kid yourself. What goes around comes around.) If you don't dish out some goodies to those who need it -- don't put your hand out to the Universe. Try this. It really works. In the meantime, be like the Romans: Veni Vidi Visa. We came, we saw, we went shopping.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
It's probably dawning on you now that you're happier. You don't even know why. (Or maybe you do.) Tension with partners and close friends has eased up in a major way. Even if your job hasn't changed per se, your attitude has. You find it easier to be grateful for what you have, too. (Gratitude is vital.) That's just another way of saying you're happier. (Happy is good.) Share good times with children. Don't be afraid to fall in love now. (And don't worry the potential insecurity of the romance -- nothing is forever.) Give yourself a vacation. Blow town for a day, a weekend, a week -- whatever. This isn't a temporary improvement. This is here to stay. (However, again I say -- nothing is forever.) Grab your happiness while you can.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Many good things are happening to you in your private life and where you live. Some kind of increased wealth enhances your home or your real estate scene. Family relationships are warmer. You're able to buy or receive beautiful things -- some of which you thought you would never have. Sure you're working hard. But fortunately, that will ease off soon. In the meantime, continue with repairs to your home, and continue with family discussions, and continue with creating beautiful memories for yourself in the future. Sure, you have to make lemonade when life gives you lemons; but when life gives you flowers -- put them in fresh water and that weird vase your aunt gave you.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Your ability to write, communicate, speak, sell, market, study as well as draw, paint, sculpt, sew and do anything with your hands -- is fabulous right now. You're on a roll! (A buttery croissant to be more precise.) Surely you've noticed that you're more witty and friendly with everyone. That's just one aspect of the blessing your communicating skills now receives. Milk this for all it's worth. Get busy writing, talking, reading, studying -- whatever. You're in the zone! Friends and groups adore you now. Don't work alone. Work in conjunction with others. Partnerships and group endeavours really pay off now. (Birds of a feather flock to clean cars.)
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
With Jupiter traveling across the top of your chart, this year your career is beautifully favoured. This is one of the weeks where you feel that little boost (could be next week). Fortuitous contacts, hot tips, influential advice, and possibly an outright raise or promotion are likely for you right now. Keep your eye on the prize. It is very likely that you will increase your earnings, or do something now that increases them in the future. This is an extremely fortunate time for you. The gods are smiling on you. You probably see the way you can finally pull off some hot deal. (Sagittarians are a quirky combo of brutal honesty plus the chutzpa to sell you the Brooklyn Bridge!)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Keep a positive attitude. Go slow over the speed bumps. Follow the yellow brick road and you will ultimately really score this week. (Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.) Fair Venus is in your sign making a lovely aspect to lucky, moneybags Jupiter. At the very least, it will boost your morale and your belief in yourself. At the most, it will bring you a trip to some place with turquoise waters and white sand and those drinks with little pink parasols in them. Travel opportunities, publishing opportunities as well as nice legal breaks come your way now. School looks good too. This is some of the good luck you deserved!
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Dealings with the government and large institutions can somehow benefit you now. You might get the approval for something. Or acceptance into a coveted group or organization. You might even get an inheritance, a gift, or the fortunate use of something that someone else owns. ("You got the keys to the Harley?") There is no doubt that you are working very hard now; and life is a struggle. But you are also learning something important. It is probably surprisingly simple. The most important things we have to learn are so simple we can't understand them. Al Schweitzer said, "Truth has no special time of its own. It's hour is now always."
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Your personal relations with practically everyone are literally flowering. You feel released! What you have been through recently is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. (Considering it hasn't happened before for 60,000 years, that's putting it mildly.) But you survived! Meltdowns and tension with others in the last six months leave ragged memories in their wake. Who cares? The result is that you truly value those you are close to you now. You love your friends. Romantic attachments deepen. And your feet are growing! That's okay -- so is your heart. (Now we have to work on your bank account.) Especially since you're going to be spending money next month! (Oh yeah.)
