All Signs
Five major planetary aspects take place now. Mercury starts off with a triple floop -- squaring Neptune, sextiling Jupiter and finally, making a beautiful trine to Saturn. (Mercury rules how we think, communicate and eat spaghetti.) When Mercury squares Neptune, confusion reigns. But as it bounces off Jupiter and Saturn, this confused thinking becomes optimistic and positive, then sensibly realistic. Alas, Venus squares Uranus and the Sun squares Neptune spontaneously throwing us back into confusion where the bland shall leadeth the bland into kitsch. This all goes to prove that peaches please and onions bring tears yet the peach is the one with the pit. (Never forgetting that onions and beans make tear gas.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
You feel thrown from pillar to post dealing with friends and groups lately. Possible deception and certain confusion with someone about shared property or the loan of something stymies you. Fortunately, you're still on top of work. In fact, encouraging news on the job helps you to solidify and secure something at home or within your family dynamic. Even though you manage to do all this (congratulations) somehow, you end up with egg on your face with your wacky friends again. Somebody is crossing the fine line. Pay them no heed. Perhaps the Heineken Uncertainty Principle is at work here: how many beers did I have last night?
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Bosses, VIPs and parents are downright confusing. You're not sure which way to jump. Fortunately, this confusion doesn't impair your ability to enjoy yourself in the least. Parties, romance and even financial speculation look sweet and promising. (Just how you like it.) Parents find conversations with children rewarding and pleasing. (Tauruses make the best parents because you know that parenting starts with three square meals a day. Or round, according to preference.) The tricky part is that this is actually a good time for serious negotiations with partners. Nevertheless, authority types might not give you the straight goods. Read the small print before you sign that dotted line.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Since Mercury is your ruler, your life will definitely reflect it's dance with three different planets right now. First, you feel uncertain about travel plans or matters related to publishing and higher education. In fact, cancellations and confusion leave you temporarily paralyzed. But warm, hey nonny nonny feelings with family where you share a pint of ale and good bread with loved ones restores your feelings of well-being. Discussions about work, money, recent purchases and investments buoy your spirits. You see long-term benefits in something and this encourages you. But you're still wondering who's on first when it comes to travel, publishing and education. (You can fool all of the people all of the time if your budget is big enough.)
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Be careful of important transactions with children regarding inheritances, wills, estates, debt and shared property. Lots of confusion is potentially possible regarding these areas. Make sure you defend your best interests. Don't do your doormat, martyr routine. Ironically, the potential for financial investments and profitable negotiations is excellent now. You sense this and that's why you're trying to make long-term plans to benefit everyone. Of course, you can't expect people to keep in step if they won't even stay in line. Just make sure that you don't give away the farm. There is such a thing as idiot compassion. (Complacency ain't contentment.)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Be careful about serious negotiations with family members and partners right now because some kind of misrepresentation is possible. There's something rotten in Denmark (possibly Iceland.) Perhaps your expectations are too high because of unrealistic idealism. (You know who you are.) Because your own financial scene and situation at work pleases you now, you might be tempted to be too generous with others. Don't forget that true generosity is giving what is needed -- and you're going to need some of this money yourself. Fortunately, when it comes to real estate and domestic matters, your critical faculty is sharp now. Just make sure you see beyond the stars in your eyes when you deal with others.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Dealings with siblings and relatives, plus the most casual conversations and everyday events are mired in misunderstandings or absent-minded thinking. Your communications with others are not clear now. You're holding something back. Perhaps you don't want to offend; perhaps you don't want to come clean. Common sense says you should never be 100% truthful in any relationship. Example: your lover says, " Do you think I'm too fat?" No matter what -- your response has to be, "Babes, you look beautiful to me." (This is the correct answer even if your partner's getting so big you had to let out the darts in the shower curtain.)
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Be very careful with financial speculation right now. Similarly, be careful about spending money on children, vacations, fun, pleasure and romance. You could go overboard and later regret it. For some reason, you're not seeing clearly when it comes to these areas. Naturally, instant gratification is tempting. Nevertheless, discussions with bosses and parents remind you about long-term responsibilities and obligations. Don't $20 yourself to death. It's true; a little here, a little there eventually adds up to some serious coin. That's why I have always maintained if you save a little money every day, at the end of a year, you'll be surprised at how little you have. (The future isn't what it used to be.)
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Mercury is in your sign now along with the Sun. To put it mildly, you're receiving mixed signals from the universe. Now you see it, now you don't. Step this way - gong! -- sorry, wrong move. Your confusion centers primarily on family communications and real estate matters. For some reason, you don't have a clear picture here. Or you might be the victim of deception. (Highly unlikely, considering you have the mind of a sleuth.) Listen to what friends and groups have to say now. Their encouragement is positive. Long-term plans about publishing, school, and travel are solid and reliable. In the meantime, tread lightly when talking to parents and family members. Tell the truth (or else you have to remember everything you say.)
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Mark Twain said we're more disappointed by the things we don't do than by the things we do. "So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore dreams. Discover." (I didn't know he was into motorcycles.) These are wise words for your sign. Your enthusiasm gives you the courage to make big plans right now. Furthermore, you're solidifying your future with serious preparation about finances, pensions, insurance, wills and sorting out shared possessions and obligations to others. Good stuff. Be careful of confronting people if you're not sure about something. A fog of confusion distorts your communications with others -- especially siblings.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
It's not surprising that you might suffer from some confusion relating to a friend or group right now. For one thing, you've been quite aggressive in your own communications with others for some time now. Remember: when you're talking you can't hear what others are saying. Nevertheless, travel plans, and matters connected with publishing, foreign countries and higher education look fabulous now. (Me happy.) You're so gung ho about these matters, discussions with partners and close friends are thorough and productive. You're really taking care of business. Just be careful about pie-in-the-sky longing for the impossible. Remember: reality is what happens every morning after breakfast.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
This is a very tricky week for you. You're making important decisions, especially related to work, shared possessions, debt and the financial and emotional support you get from others. Yet in the midst of these vital responsibilities, you can't get a clear picture from your boss (or your parent) about what to do and what to expect. This leaves you hog-tied. (Just don't squat with your spurs on.) Be confident about matters at work, because your thinking is essentially clear and even detail oriented. But be careful of misunderstandings with authority figures. Conversations with others are like two ships passing in the night. If you feel you're not sure about something -- trust this doubt. Don't act.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Somebody's not giving you the straight poop about higher education, publishing, legal matters or travel plans. You just have to know that you can't take things related to these areas at face value. (This has nothing to do with Weapons of Mass Deception.) You might go off on some pretty wild ideas related to religion, spirituality or mystical philosophy. Which makes you wonder, does one bring a hot dish to a seance? At least sandwiches? Just don't go off the deep end. Listen to the advice of partners. Estate planning for children and business related to entertainment and the hospitality industry go well. You have something to teach young minds now. Or maybe you have nothing? In the beginning there was nothing. And the Lord said "Let there be light!" And still there was nothing, but at least now you could see it.
