All Signs
Mercury retrograde is over. We're back to our normal crazy level of life. (This last Mercury retrograde hit three cars in my family and one TV. I kid you not.) Ah well, they say a happy person is someone who can enjoy the scenery on a detour. But if you're smiling while you're being towed - what's with you? Publishing, postal services, accounting, and everything to do with ground transportation and communications will flow more smoothly. On Sept. 27th, Mars turns direct and starts to finally work its way out of Pisces. (It leaves Pisces mid December.) And this crazy Mars/ Uranus conjunction (heat waves, blackouts, forest fires, computer viruses) lightens up by the beginning of November. Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Once a month, the Sun shifts signs. When this happens your focus starts to shift to a different aspect of your life. This week the Sun moves into Libra, which is 180° opposite your sign, which puts it as far away from you as it gets all year. Because of this, you might feel enervated and tired. (After all, the Sun gives us energy.) Your self-awareness will definitely be heightened. You'll see the results of whatever you did in the last six to twelve months. Certain structures that you created in your life, are now obviously successful or they are a failure. Identify what is not working out. But don't fold like a cheap suit. Value this realization and move on.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You're very comfortable with the Sun moving into Libra now because you're kissing cousins with Libra (since Venus rules you both.) You are both signs who appreciate beauty. However, this Sun shift galvanizes you into action. Suddenly, you want to organize your belongings -- especially your precious collections. You want to know what is worth keeping and what you should toss. You want to make your life more efficient and effective. You're writing lists. Maybe even lists of lists. (Doubtful, unless you have Moon in Virgo.) You're concerned with your health as well. You want all aspects of your life to flow smoothly. Wouldn't it be nice to afford a personal secretary and a butler? That's the real answer to things.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
With the Sun and Venus in Libra, your opportunities to enjoy flirtations, romance, love affairs, vacations and fun times are tremendous! This can be one of the most fun months of the entire year. Everything to do with the arts, the entertainment world, show business and professional sports gets a lovely boost. If you teach -- you become a performer. You easily entertain your students with anecdotes and clever insights. Basically, these changes come about because of the shift in your heart. Increased self-love and appreciation for yourself naturally bubbles over into appreciation of the world around you. No longer will you ponder: "I don't know, so maybe I'm not." You am!
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Your focus now turns to home, real estate and family matters. Furthermore, Venus in Libra promotes your desire to improve where you live through renovations, decorating, or buying fabric, dishes and new towels. You want family members to relate to each other more harmoniously. You want your home surroundings to be more harmoniously attractive as well. Gosh, you're practically ready to curl up in a prenatal position under an electric blanket and turn the dial up to nine. You want warm and cozy. Goodies in the fridge. Smiling faces at the table. Something decent on TV. (Everything, except the latter, is within your power now.)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Buckle up those skates; you're on a roll! The daily tempo of your days picks up now and in the next 4 - 6 weeks. Short trips, conversations, increased writing and reading, new course work, plus buying, selling and shopping keep you on the run. You feel younger and more excited about life. You're throwing your money around; but fortunately, you're coming up with great money making opportunities. It's cha cha time! Albert Einstein said, "Have the courage to take your own thoughts seriously, for they will shape you." (No more pear shaped ideas -- think hourglass.)
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Finally, it's a good world. Moneybags Jupiter and Mercury are in your sign. Jupiter brings optimism, luck, good fortune, opportunities and improved personal relations for the next 18 months. Mercury drove you crazy for the last six weeks, bit it now starts to behave. Meanwhile, back at the homepage, the Sun and Venus are forcing you to revise your own self-image of yourself. You see now you're not chump. In fact, (dare we say it?) you're a class act. Yeah. (You always suspected this.) The opposition you encounter with coworkers and partners is peanuts. In fact, you're going to take the high road and set an example of grace, poise and style. (What else can a class act do?)
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Oo la la! The Sun enters your sign where it stays for the next four weeks - re-energizing you for the coming year. Like magic. However, this also marks the beginning of your own personal year unfolding ahead of you. What do you want it to be? What do you visualize for yourself ahead? Mark Twain said, "You can't depend on your judgment when your imagination is out of focus." Which is another way of saying, you can't mow the grass when it's covered by snow. (That's the blessing of snow.) You love beauty and you love harmony. Give these things to yourself. We only go around once -- why not do it with fresh flowers and matching towels?
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
The main thing you have to consider now is the positive and negative influences of Mars in Pisces. (Yeah, I know you're a Scorpio.) Because Mars is so close to planet Earth, thereby creating a six-month stay in Pisces (out of what normally would be only seven weeks) -- this affects you! The downside is that it makes you impatient with children and lovers. But the upside is that it gives you tremendous energy because it boosts your "heart" drive. It makes you feel vigorous, energetic and willing to work. It helps your self-confidence. This will happen only once in your life. It's a six-month energy rocket. You have three months left to go. Grab this advantage and use it!
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
A wonderfully social month lies ahead. (Maybe longer.) Invitations pour in out of nowhere. Friends, clubs, groups, organizations, conferences and sports associations all want to see your face. Your dance card is full. However, there is more than just schmoozing going on here. This increased interaction with humanity offers you an excellent opportunity to get meaningful feedback about whatever you consider to be important. Namely: you. Sure, it's a great time for socializing with others. However, look for ways to join forces for the common good and for mutual goals; and look for ways to help others. This is how you can most enrich your life now. (That -- and remembering to wash darks and lights separately.)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
You'll definitely enjoy the next few months. For starters, this year was a watershed year signifying increased power, confidence and sphere of activity for you. The next eight weeks call even more attention to you. Increased visibility, honours, accolades, promotions and special moments like that will come your way. People really respect you now. You don't even have to do anything special to get it. You're in the limelight. If there is one sign that knows how to handle this with style -- it's you. (Aren't you glad you bought those clothes?) This is definitely the time to go after anything you want. Dazzle the boss, head honcho -- whoever.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Aquarians are born 50 years ahead of their time. You're so modern and "out there" -- most people misunderstand you. Your propensity to explore exciting new ideas and broaden your horizons is super ignited now. Nothing can hold you back. You want to travel; you want to explore further education; you want to mingle with other cultures and thought systems. (Like wow.) You really dig this. Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
This is the only time in your life when Mars is in your sign for six months. (Because it's closer to planet Earth than it's been for 60,000 years.) You have three more months to go. You're at the halfway mark. Small wonder the next six weeks become intense, passionate -- even sexy. Everything is suddenly black or white. Nothing is gray. (Unless you wash your tee shirts with dark socks.) Jointly held property, plus red tape connected with insurance, wills, inheritances and estates becomes a focus. You have to compromise with the values of others. This is not fluffy stuff. This is juicy and very real. You are facing serious responsibilities head-on. (Impressive.)
