All Signs
This wild meeting of Mars and Uranus continues to trigger unpredictable, bizarre and possibly explosive events until mid-October. It's a macro/micro thing. Anything from blackouts and forest fires to blown fuses and burnt toast. It makes us impetuous and impulsive. The best way to respond to this is twofold: the first is to guard against knee-jerk reactions. Don't blurt out your first thought. Take a breath and count to five. (Remember that the origin of the word scruples is "to hesitate.") The second thing we can do is to try to have a supple quality of mind. Being able to switch from Eagle Mind to Mouse Mind promotes sanity. It helps to remind us what's important in life and what isn't. Perspective is everything. That's why opportunities always look bigger going than coming. (Don't you hate that?)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
There's a lot of happening at work right now. (For some, it could be related to health issues.) Most of it is highly favourable, but there is an element of passionate excess to watch out for. You might want something so much you think, "Damn the torpedoes. Full speed ahead!" (You have to admit this is a bit your style.) The brave warrior stance. Your effectiveness at work is growing now and will continue over the next year. Don't blow other people's confidence in you by being cocky. See the big picture; see the little picture. Slowly, slowly. Remember it was the tortoise who won the race. (Oh yeah.)
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
This is such a fabulous time for a vacation for your sign! Everything to do with love, romance, fun, parties, pleasure and enjoyment gets a strong focus now. Group events (especially sports and physical activities) are successful as well. Just be careful about going overboard. Don't strain your body. Don't strain your friendships. Whatever you do now -- do for the love of it. It's also a pretty good time for financial speculation. The only downside here is you could be unrealistically optimistic taking a chance on something. Don't count your chickens before they're barbecued.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
You're happy with changes taking place in your domestic scene and your family. Feelings of love bloom easily among family members. Repairs and changes to where you live improve things making them look more attractive and cozier. There's more: these blessings to your home and personal life extend beyond this month. Some of them remain for a year! This also works is financial terms. Improvements to your home, as well as speculation in real estate will make you happier and bring you profits now and in the future. Even others can see you're happier now. (People who live in glass houses might as well answer the door.)
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Busy, busy you. Short trips, appointments, buying and selling, shopping, increased reading and writing, and just general "busyness" have you hopping. That's okay -- you can handle this pace. Your entire outlook is changing. (You've noticed?) You feel more optimistic about your future than you have for years. This week you feel passionate about something related to work, health, siblings or relatives. You have the energy and charisma to get your way. But will it be a hollow victory? It's best to get people on side. Listen to what others want. Take what they say into account. You can make this a win/win solution. After all, enthusiasm is highly contagious -- and you have lots of it.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
"Show me the money!" You're moving into serious cash mode now. Most of you will be figuring out how to earn more money, buy more things and get more goodies. Sure money can't buy everything (but don't you think those people just don't know where to shop?) You do have to watch out for overzealous spending. (You know who you are.) If you want something this week -- you want the whole enchilada. Don't overestimate your ability to buy something. Don't take foolish risks. Nevertheless, your financial scene looks so sweet this year. You work hard to get where you are now. You deserve it -- so enjoy it. Life is short and fat.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Gads! The Sun, Mercury, Venus and Jupiter are all in Virgo. It's party time. Naturally, this brings blessings, opportunities and people your way. You're pumped. You look good; you feel good; and your luck is about to improve. Because you're practically swaggering now, the difficulties with partners and close friends could emerge. Don't let somebody else muscle you into a decision you're not ready for. Trust your instincts. It's smooth sailing ahead and the wind is at your back. This week represents the culmination of something for you. What you've been trying to do can now come to fruition. Be conscious of everything so that you can plan intelligently and work effectively. Just don't give away the farm.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Excess fun, entertaining and lots of sweets and good drink could take their toll on your health now. Why is fun so fattening) Fortunately, sex burns off calories. (Not the solitary kind.) Things are starting to shift slightly for you in your inner world. You're becoming a regular philosopher. People think you're just staring out the window -- but you're working hard! You're sorting out some basic values in life now. You're figuring out what works and what doesn't. The decisions you make now will take you in one direction or another. Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Your life is getting far more social than it usually is. Friends are coming out of the woodwork. Groups, seminars, clubs and organizations demand your time. Some of this conflicts with romantic interests or your responsibilities with children. So be it. Geronimo has spoken. Whatchagonnado? Your public is calling you. All this schmoozing can be enormously advantageous to you. Important contacts, tips from friends and timely feedback from others will help you now. If you've been thinking of calling, e-mailing or contacting someone -- do it. That's where the goodies are. Contact with groups and friends benefits you now and for the year ahead. Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Are things looking good or are things looking good? Four planets including Venus and Jupiter are at high noon in your chart. You are so high viz. and so impressive, it's practically obscene. But if you've got it baby, flaunt it. You're Numero Uno and everyone knows it. One tiny caveat however: don't get too big for your britches. (The humble thing plays very well.) Be aware of the needs of family and home. You can't just blow them off. Remember the little people. If a tiny voice in the back of your head tells you you're reaching too far -- maybe you are. Mars opposes your ruler Jupiter. This makes you unrealistically optimistic. Remember: at the end of the game the King and the pawn go back in the same box.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Travel opportunities, publishing perks and new horizons connected with higher education thrills you now. There is so much to choose from. You feel excited about all the opportunities around you. People from other cultures and places, plus fascinating philosophies and life belief systems are just some of the things that intrigue you at this time. It's your turn up to bat. Will you punt or try for a homerun? Don't promise too much to a sibling or relative this week. Be conservative about some of your plans. Yes, you are favored, but this week it's possible to go overboard. Don't try to coerce others to agree with you on philosophical, political and religious issues. Take it easy. (Bridge ahead. Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
You're in a lucky position now and for the next year. Expect gifts, inheritances, scholarships, bursaries, loans, extended credit, mortgages and the use of other people's possessions. You are here and it is now -- the right place at the right time. (This is good - you've got lots of work ahead.) Although you're super favoured, this week something excessive looms in the picture. You might be expecting too much; you might be giving away too much. There could be a conflict between what you expect and what you receive. You might want to spend or borrow too much money. Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Your focus is certainly on partnerships right now. Big time. Your dealings with others are rosy and charming. Yeah, yeah Mars is still in your sign; but the blessing of the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Jupiter in your House of Partnerships goes a long way to ameliorate this. You can enjoy much popularity now dealing with the public and enjoying close friendships. People definitely benefit you now. The only downside is what I've been mentioning for weeks - curb your impulsive, instinctive responses that are too aggressive for others. They could sting. (Yes it's true that time heals all wounds -- but how come the belly button stays the same?)
