All Signs
This is a tricky week. Three different planetary aspects introduce three completely different influences. Mercury's opposition to Uranus makes us shoot from the hip without thinking. The Sun's brief opposition to Neptune is a confused mystical Rod Serling moment (Music riff: dee dee tee tee; dee dee tee tee.) Meanwhile, back at the birdfeeder, Mercury and Saturn are huddled together to create some solid, long-term, cautious, steady stuff. Make note: planetary aspects do not cancel each other out. They're all just part of the mix. This is definitely a week for firm decisions - or is it?
Aries (March 21-April 19)
You might not be too pleased with surprises at work, especially ones connected with technology. You don't want to see one more bright idea come your way for awhile. Enough already. Possible flirtations do have your attention however. It's not that you're looking for someone to pick up the tab for lunch (although that would be nice) -- you want something more than a meaningful, overnight relationship. In the long haul, your thoughts about organizing your home scene and reshaping the family dynamic plus your long-term future plans - are really where it's at for you now. Trust the latter. (Lunch can wait.)
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Discussions with parents and bosses are confusing now. Particularly on Monday. (Why Monday, dear Lord? Mondays are hard enough as it is.) Surprise suggestions from children or about children keep you on your toes now. Ditto for romance. (Anything can happen here.) However, you feel very comfortable turning a critical eye on your daily environment. You want to make your day-to-day world more efficient and more reliable. Strategize long-term plans for romance, the arts or responsibilities for children. This is the kind of thing that you're good at. (You don't do hasty.)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
In a way, you're all over the map. Your mind is jumping here and there as you simultaneously select and reject ideas. Essentially, you're not sure what you want. Plans about travel, short trips, important discussions are vague at best. Life is a revolving door (and you don't have to be the sharpest tool in the drawer to see that.) Nevertheless, you can trust your plans about money, job, and earnings. Whatever you hope to do to improve, repair or promote your family, or your home or a real estate deal -- this is probably solid. It's hard to know which voice to listen to: it's hard to know which door to open. But long-term financial plans connected with your private life look good. In the meantime, practice safe eating -- always use condiments.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Be careful of money deals, especially on Monday. You're inclined to go overboard on Monday with luxury or get rich quick schemes. You feel impatient and rebellious lately. You're not going to dance to anyone's tune. That's okay. You don't even have to dance to your own tune; you can stroll. Where you are on solid ground however, is with respect to daily plans, discussions with siblings, and ideas about how to improve your relationships. This is where you're prepared to do your homework. This is where you are more concerned with details than with the overall pattern. You want to talk about the nitty-gritty nuts and bolts of things. Good. You're mechanical!
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
For your information, the Sun, Venus and Jupiter are all in Leo. These planets are the good guys. They wear white hats, have pets and like kids. That's why things are essentially favourable for you now. It's also why others are so attracted to you. You're a people magnet this month! Nevertheless, fuzzy Neptune is trying to stare you down from across the room. You can't win with Neptune. That's like trying to grab a ghost. Can't be done. I suggest you wear your shades. Be careful about spending money; however, long-term financial plans connected with the government or large institutions are reliable. Your impulse to reduce your possessions by giving things away or selling them is excellent. (Two rights don't make a wrong. But three rights make a left.)
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Because Mercury is involved in two of the three planetary setups (see All Signs above), and because Mercury is your ruler -- you can't afford to pay for the all therapy you need this week. Do you go or do you stay? Do you buy or do sell? Do you commit or do you run? Choosing your breakfast cereal is nerve wracking enough. (You're the type who actually reads the ingredients.) Fear not! Despite confusion at work from authority figures and the government, plus conversations with partners and friends that leave you stunned like a deer caught in the headlights -- despite all this, wise advice from an older friend will help you now. The trick is to listen.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Be careful about grandiose ideas related to entertaining, the arts and love and romance. You have strong ideas about how you want things organized right now. You're on a reform trip. You want to shape things up. Fortunately, your smooth talking skills come to the rescue now. You are able to give and receive advice with someone older -- perhaps a parent. You're prepared to review long-range plans, especially those involving large institutions or the government. You're conscious of the flaws you see around you; but you're not overwhelmed. You want to get the job done and you want to do it right. Furthermore, you want your improvements to last. Your concern is for practicality. (Get rid of that sun dial -- it never worked in the rain anyhow.)
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Conversations with parents and authority figures are definitely confusing now. Be patient because the source of this problem is a genuine misunderstanding. Two ships passing in the night and all that. Be extra patient with children now. (It's only when you feel impatient that you need to be patient - capice?) An older friend or someone who offers wise counsel can help you now with broad religious and philosophical questions. This advice might also throw a light on matters connected with publishing, higher education and travel. Ditto for dealing with foreign countries. You have a lot on your plate right now. You can't be all things to all people and still be expected to floss.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Despite confusion with foreign countries, travel and dealing with distant situations, publishing and higher education -- you can get a lot done right now. Talk to the head honcho. Talk to your bank manager. Talk to Mom. This is a good time to sort out shared property and joint responsibilities. These sober discussions will resolve much and have a long-term, stable impact on your life. Figure out who owes whom what and how much. What will you receive? What can you keep? What is expected of you? This is a good time to arrive at practical conclusions and solutions. Just remember: what the large print giveth the small print taketh away.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Even though quite a few people are going nuts this week, things are pretty solid in your corner. Be cautious about financial dealings because there is a genuine possibility of deceit, deception or extreme wishful thinking on your part. (That's self-deception.) You don't have all the facts or you cannot see them clearly. Fortunately, a partner or close friend (or possibly an expert such as a counselor or a consultant) can give you solid advice right now. Take it. Others will play the role of teacher for you, or you will play the role of teacher for them. You want to make the situation better in some way. Good: that's half the problem. And somebody is going to help you do this -- great: that's the other half.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
You cannot trust intimate conversations with partners and close friends at this moment. Too much Vaseline on the lens. Steam on the bathroom mirror and all that. You want to make a quick, fast decision about earnings, spending money, or sharing something. Best to postpone this. Instead, sit down with someone work and determine just what resources are available to you and how much time do you have to get the job done. Take the sensible approach. It's okay to be cautious. In fact, you should pause or nothing worthwhile can catch up to you. You can accomplish a lot right now. Think tortoise. Slow and steady.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
You definitely need to be extra patient with partners. It's too easy to fly off the handle. Or anything else for that matter. Confusion with work related issues and possibly your health frustrate you now. Nevertheless, discussions with partners about children, romance and the arts can yield fruitful long-term solutions. And you want practical solutions right now because you want to get organized and on top of your scene. Mars is still in your sign making you more aggressive than usual -- even impatient. However, this energy is essentially like a hammer. You can use it to bonk somebody on the head - or build a house for yourself. It's your call. (It's your hammer.)
