It's handy to know that the New Year is not the only chance we have to make resolutions. Each month, the New Moon is also a perfect time. And it's a good practice to do so. Motivation is everything. Our intentions determine our future. Why not make some resolutions during the New Moon of July 28 & 29 to test this out? Don't be vague. Write down big and little goals. ("Save the world before bedtime.") Say them out loud to yourself. What you're doing is laying down "imprints" in your unconsciousness. After all, all kinds of weird stuff is being stored in there anyhow. You might as well program stuff you really want (byte by byte.) Who wants their future to be Eternal Nothingness. And how do you dress for that? (Of course, life is not for everyone.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
In many ways, this is a fabulous year for your sign. The part of your chart that rules children, love and romance, vacations, fun and pleasure, the entertainment world, professional sports and the hospitality industry is super amped. You want to have a good time! Playful activities with children are delightful. Your creative talents are overflowing. You're juiced to the max, babes. Be open to romance. Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You haven"t been as happy at home and with your family situation for ages. (And I mean ages.) Good feelings and joyful optimism abound now. Naturally, you feel grateful for what's happening to family members or where you live. These are solid vales for any Taurus. Real estate expansion and improvement continue to be promising. It's almost if you finally lifted your eyes up from three feet in front of you -- to the horizon ahead. It's a subtle shift - but a world of difference. Now you have a future! Gemini (May 21-June 20)
You always multitask, but this month your hair's on fire! (After all, there's only two of you.) Fortunately, you can handle all this insanity because you feel optimistic and upbeat about life right now. Ironically, this quality is also is the one thing that could trip you up. (Go figure.) Optimism is a wonderful thing -- but it is a real world out there. Sure, you have to live in the moment, but you also need a seat on a plane next week. Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

Think about what really matters to you in your life. What do you ponder when the power goes out? You don't have to sit in a lotus position thinking, "If the string has one end, then it has another." But you do want to figure out how to live your life so that you are happier in the future. For starters, it's good to know that as generous as you are, is the world you live in. (Spare change?) Actually, you're trying to find out what you can do that's really fun that will make you happy. And maybe - bonus! - it can benefit others as well as yourself.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Your popularity rating is off the charts right now. In fact, this New Moon offers you the perfect opportunity to do some serious thought about what friendship really means to you. Do you hang out with quality people? A great teacher once said that our friends determine our future, because they influence our choices. You're particularly effective organizing the efforts of others now. You can make it happen -- anything from a major undertaking to a barbecue. Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
