All Signs
It's Mercury retrograde. (groan) That's why faces from your past are popping up. It's also why your car has problems and the buses are running late. There're lots of hiccups to everyday tasks, especially with newspapers and postal services. But it's over by May 21st. Wait to buy computers, printers, faxes, cars and trucks. It's also a poor time to begin new projects. However, it's a great time to finish what's already on your plate. Delving into the past goes quickly now: history, research, psychoanalysis, and old business. But there's a limit to how much you can achieve. Don't expect to find socks that disappeared in the dryer. They've gone to that big Sock Heaven in the sky. (Soles and all.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
This is a delightful week for enjoying the company of others. In fact, make a point of doing exactly what you want to do rather than what you should. Romance and love affairs bloom nicely. Life is just more fun. Everything to do with show business, the entertainment world and the hospitality industry generates money, pleasure or both. This is a great time for a party. Go ahead with arts and crafts projects, working with children, or planning a vacation. Basically, you want to indulge yourself. Fine! Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we may diet. Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You will definitely notice this Mercury retrograde because it's happening in your sign. Many of you will encounter ex partners and past loves. (This makes for good gossip.) However, this week particularly favours real estate deals and everything to do with your family and your home scene. Parties, family gatherings, and good fun can be shared. (Buy fresh flowers.) The details of your private life make you feel fortunate. If your job is challenging now, you have an extra burst of ambition to deal with it. Start thinking about job or residential changes that could come up this year. You have a promising, fun year ahead. (I kid you not.)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Since Mercury is your ruler, you definitely feel this Mercury retrograde period. Old matters connected with the government, large institutions and behind the scenes issues could surface again. To prevent being caught short or painfully delayed -- make sure your phone bill is paid, and stay on top of your transportation scene. Little glitches with your car, flat tires or power windows that stay open when it rains are a drag. Try to anticipate what could go wrong. Allow extra time for whatever you do -- especially traveling. Social times with friends are particularly enjoyable this week. (Show others you appreciate their company.)
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
This is a wonderful week for your career and for promoting your good name within your circle of friends and colleagues. People think well of you now. (Question nothing.) Your popularity rating is high, and if you're clever, you can boost your earnings somehow. (This is a lucky week for you.) You will definitely run into old friends, and because you're hospitable and probably a good cook - guess who ends up in the kitchen. If so, remember: you cook, they clean. Wrap up old financial deals and business matters if you can because you will benefit somehow. You also feel sexy and physically passionate. (Apparently, they sell three times as many cookbooks as sex books. Is that because we eat three times a day?)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
This is quite a lovely week for your sign. Fair Venus makes a beautiful connection to Jupiter, which is in Leo. You feel up for adventure and exploring new avenues, new disciplines of study, and new places. You want to expand your world in an exciting way. Foreign countries, different languages and cultures, and exotic places appeal. (The best way to learn Spanish is to take a Spanish lover.) Lots of people want to see you right now because the Sun is at high noon in your chart -- boosting your visibility in a strong way. (People are calling.) Relations with partners and close friends might be testy. Since jealousy is 'all the fun you think they're having' -- maybe you look too happy?
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Like Gemini, Mercury rules you. Naturally, you are dogged by delays and confused communications. They're mainly silly little things, but they will trip you up. Just accept what is happening and allow extra time for everything. You might have an opportunity to go back to school, or pursue studies you once considered taking before. You might also hear from people from another country or a distant land. Your partner can benefit financially now. And whether you do or do not have a partner, you too, can benefit from the wealth of others this week. You feel affectionate with lovers and romantic interests. Make sure that your hopes are realistic. After all, we are all mere mortals fumbling about on this Earthly plain.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
You enjoy the company of others. This week is wonderfully social and charming. Make a point of sharing time with people. Accept all invitations, and extend a few yourself. Because you feel warm and generous to others now, naturally they respond in kind. This is a good time to wrap up old business connected with shared property, joint holdings, loans and debt. Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Everything to do with your job or your employment scene looks quite wonderful this week. You make progress and at the same time you impress everybody. It's easy to get the cooperation and support of co-workers. (Bonus!) You too, will hear from ex partners and old loves. How this turns out depends entirely on you because you tend to be black and white about these matters. More than others, you're capable of purging people from your life. ("Goodbye Fredo.") If you have important contracts to sign, try to wait until May 21st. Be patient with chaos and tension at home. Be encouraged because your life is improving.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
The efficiency and effectiveness you like to enjoy at work might suffer now. Staff shortages, mixed messages, confused communications, lost paperwork, and delays, delays, delays test your patience. Fortunately, by nature you're upbeat, positive and optimistic. Some just think you don't appreciate the gravity of the situation. But this isn't true. In fact, you're quite wise. You know that if you have to live the next ten minutes (something you intend to do) you might as well enjoy it. But, try to take a news fast to maintain your positive state of mind. Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
This is a lovely time to enjoy family occasions and everything to do with your private and home life. Matters connected with real estate look sweet. This is certainly the perfect week to buy something for your home to make it more attractive -- or make improvements to where you live. Expect gifts and goodies from others. Perhaps people will let you use something they own. This is the week to enjoy yourself even though you're spending money doing so! Focus on children, romance and good times. One minor note: old flames appear on the scene now. That's okay because you're enjoying yourself and it shows. (You're ready to honk and wave at strangers.)
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Practically everybody has an improved week right now and you are no exception. Your everyday schmoozing is friendly and positive. You enjoy the company of others including relatives and siblings. Your primary focus is on family and domestic situations, and this is where you will run into situations from your past. Expect to sit around chewing the fat about the bad old days.
