No one loves to travel more than you! You are adventure personified! You love challenges, excitement and discovering new knowledge. Your lifestyle is simple: work hard and party hard! You hate being confined but even more than, that you are outraged at cruelty to animals. The outdoors is where you shine! People love your breezy, friendly style. Everybody's Got a Past
In the mid-90s, life was in flux due to job changes, residential moves and opportunities that came your way, especially in 1993. By 1995, you were blessed with Jupiter in your sign, which brought you good fortune. However, your focus was to establish a stable home for yourself, which many of you did in 1998.

Money, Job, Status
In many ways, you are in a holding pattern. You broke free from a challenging time between 2012-2015, after which you set out on a journey to reinvent yourself. This journey is still in process. So you are at a stage in your life where you are shaping things and guiding your efforts and preparing yourself for what is to come in the future.
However, even though you are on a holding pattern, something powerful will occur in November this year when your ruler lucky Jupiter enters your sign to stay for an entire year. This is extreme good fortune! The last time this occurred was in 2007. The next time will be 2031. So this means that towards the autumn of this year, your confidence will increase, and others will be impressed with you. Opportunities will begin to come your way! In addition, you will attract important people to you. This doesn't happen just by magic. It means that you laid the groundwork for this all along.
Without question, you will work hard to earn money this year. And you will be intellectually and verbally aggressive about going after what you want because fiery Mars is hovering between two houses in your chart (money and communications) from March until November. This means this is a year to take your plans and your goals very seriously. Whatever you do this year will lead to positive results by the end of the year.

All Your Relationships
Perhaps the biggest influence that will impact all your relationships this year is that at this stage of your life, you are plumbing the depths of your soul and giving serious thought to your true values. You want to know --what makes you tick? Who would be best for you? Where should you best put your efforts and energies? What kind of job you should have? What really matters in life? You don't want to bet on the wrong horse and end up 90 years old thinking, "Wow - you blew it!" This much you know.
Two major planets are combining this year -- or is it a karmic conspiracy? They will push you to address some of these questions - namely - what are your basic values. What really matters in life? The first is that Saturn will now be moving into your second House of Earnings. This by itself will demand that you begin to define what it is that you really value. More specifically, you will be able to ascertain if material wealth, or your constant desire for material wealth, is keeping you from discovering what your true values are. Slippery slope!
Saturn will also make you want to control your assets and possessions and wealth, which is why it is wise to organize your finances as well as you can.
While this takes place, Jupiter, the planet associated with wisdom and religion, will travel through your 12th house, which embraces hidden values and spirituality. This means that in the coming year, you will have a big chance to learn a great deal about your inner world.
These two different planets are travelling through two different parts of your chart, yet working for the same goal. And in the bigger picture, this is all part of the process that began in 2015 redefining who you are.

You have things to do, people to see and places to go!
March
Four planets now draw your energy to home, family and your private life. Family discussions will be significant. You might focus on home repairs. You want to redecorate or tweak your digs because you will be entertaining at home. Fiery Mars is still in your sign, which means you have energy to burn! Hit the gym or grab your bike or whatever you love to do outdoors. It's wise to blow off some steam because you have so much pent-up energy!
April
It's play city for Sagittarians! This is the perfect month for a vacation or a fun getaway. It's also a great time to explore love affairs, romance and perhaps encounter new love. Enjoy the arts, movies, gallery openings and sports events. Nevertheless, your work is favoured, which is why many of you will get praise and perhaps a raise. This month is a mixed bag. You're working hard and you're working smart. You've decided it's time to clean up your act and be as efficient and productive as you possibly can be. Nevertheless, you also want to play! Romance with someone younger might begin. A quick vacation is also on the menu. June
This is the only month of the year when the Sun is opposite your sign, which indicates you are more tired. You need more sleep. You will also be more focused on partnerships and friendships. Mercury Retrograde in 2018
Mercury retrograde occurs three times a year. This is when Mercury appears to go backwards in relation to planet Earth. (In reality Mercury always moves forward.) During these so-called retrograde times, the areas that Mercury has domain over inexplicably suffer from errors and delays. The errors are small but frustrating!
Mercury has domain over everything that moves forward:
- all forms of ground transportation, (cars, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, buses, taxis, trains)
- the mail, parcels, packages (Post Office plus Courier and Delivery Services)
- communications - email, social media, phone calls, conversations
- it also includes daily living (the people we encounter, the items we deal with, the transactions we make and how we relate to others.)
During Mercury retrograde, all the areas under the domain of Mercury tend to go "backwards." They certainly have trouble going forwards. We can expect transportation delays, missed buses and car breakdowns. Mail will be late or lost, daily items that we handle like keys and papers will be misplaced; and communications with others will be confused and misunderstood. Plus people from our past will pop up into our lives. ("Boris?" "Natasha!")
However, we can make good use of Mercury retrograde times to finish things, study the past, do research and reflect. But do not open a business or begin new projects. Mercury retrograde is also a bad time to buy cars, trucks, bikes, computers, printers and phones.
The dates below are the actual retrograde dates plus the buffer times. This is because Mercury starts to slow down before it goes retrograde. Then afterwards, it needs more time to catch up to where it was at when it first went retrograde.
The craziness (delays and errors) is most pronounced during the actual retrograde time. However, if you are buying a big ticket item like a car or a computer, I recommend that you play it safe and avoid these purchases during the buffer times as well. You'll be glad you did.
