Everybody's Got a Past
Relationships were challenging in the mid-90s; and some ended then. However, your job scene was strong. Around 1999, partnerships picked up and by 2001, exciting travel opportunities loomed on the horizon. In 2002 your reputation was stellar! You impressed others with what you could do.
Nevertheless, the best was yet to come because around 2004-05, you achieved a cherished dream. For some, it was a marriage. For some, it was graduation. For some, it was a big promotion. Whatever happened was something that you worked hard to attain and you might have even thought you would never get it. But you did and you made yourself proud!
In 2005, lucky Jupiter was in your sign which made you feel content. You also appreciated your world - what you had and who you were. Earnings increased by 2006-07 and in 2008, something happened that made you appreciate where you lived. Perhaps you renovated your home or perhaps you moved? Whatever the case you felt your digs were richer, bigger more attractive.
Romance, vacations and opportunities for social diversions flourished in 2009-10. Around that time, you gave up something so you could begin something new around 2011-12. Looking back, you see that it was then that you began a process of redefining who you are. (This process is still in play; and will not be finished until next year.) This means that whatever you are undergoing now is putting the final touches on the new you.
Very recently, you might have had a change of jobs or a change of residence or something that placed you in a new milieu that forced you to hear things with fresh ears and see things with fresh eyes. It's refreshing and stimulating!

Money, Job, Status
Each year, the planetary line up is an indication of different things for different signs. For some signs, the change is obvious; for others, it is subtle. One thing that is obvious this year is for your sign! And it's good news! This is the year for you to boost your earnings and make more money. Factoid.
You will get a raise or make money on the side or get a better paying job or do something to increase your assets. If you don't see how this is at all possible - think again. I am Libra rising so this Libra forecast applies to me. At first I could not see any way that I could boost my earnings. Everything seems to be on a holding pattern. However, I see that if I used my ingenuity and imagination, there are ways that I can increase my income.
You just have to think about the possibilities are available to you and be confident and positive minded. Expect the best. Expect a miracle! One area that will get a big boost is anything to do with the entertainment world, the hospitality industry, show business, professional sports and working with children.
Another way to improve your earnings or assets might be related to work-related travel or dealing with foreign countries. Perhaps it involves importing/exporting in retail work? It might also relate to publishing, the media, higher education or anything to do with the law and medicine. Especially the law - because Libra is the sign that rules the legal system - hence the scales.
A daily appreciation of who you are and what you have will encourage a feeling of richness and contentment. Your bank account has surprisingly little relationship to feeling content.

All Your Relationships
Relationships are important to you because you are a sign that needs the company of others. You are like a teeter-totter. If you go to a playground, you can swing alone, you can go down the slide alone, but if you're on teeter totter, you need someone on the other end. That's how you are.
You love to have company to go along with you no matter what you are doing. This doesn't mean you don't like moments of solitude - everyone does. But you like to have someone in your life - someone on the end of your teeter totter.
Romance is definitely activated for your sign this year because the planet Mars, which comes along every two years and stays for about six weeks in one sign, will be doing something different this year. Home and Family
This year and next year are extremely important years for your sign with regard to your home, your family and your personal world. In a nutshell, you're entering a two-year window where you are going to address important repairs. These repairs might be to your home but they might also be to family relationships.
Let's start with your physical home: You are definitely entering a two-year window where you will want to secure your home to feel you have a safe refuge in the world for yourself and your family. This means some of you will actually move again even if you recently moved. If you don't move, you will do something very basic like repairing a roof or repairing a basement or doing an important renovation because you're trying to solidify your home base for the future. Most especially, you will address repairs or things that needed your attention but you have been putting them off.
Likewise, in your personal life and with your family members, you will find that you have to address issues that you might have avoided. These issues must be faced in the next two years. Some of you will benefit from counselling or psychotherapy or talking to a professional.
The reason for this emphasis on repairing and securing your physical home as well as repairing and solidifying relationships in your family is that in a 30-year transit - this is the time for you to lay your foundations for the next 30 years. For some, it could indicate increased responsibilities with a parent.
Look at this as a time of beginnings; and the first thing you are doing is laying a solid foundation for the next few decades. This is big stuff!

January

You are still working hard to boost your income; however, cash is flowing because you're spending it!
March
Your money scene still looks good; and small wonder because this month you are focused on working hard. You're not just working hard - you're working smart because suddenly, efficiency, effectiveness and productivity are the name of the game. You want the best possible results for your efforts! This is a great month to get praise for your hard work - and of course, some will get a raise! (Keep it coming!) Do be aware that you are aggressive in your communications with others now. This month is about close friendships and relationships. The good news is that your scrutiny on these relationships will yield valuable information for you so that you can improve these relationships. That's important. Mercury Retrograde in 2018
Mercury retrograde occurs three times a year. This is when Mercury appears to go backwards in relation to planet Earth. (In reality Mercury always moves forward.) During these so-called retrograde times, the areas that Mercury has domain over inexplicably suffer from errors and delays. The errors are small but frustrating!
Mercury has domain over everything that moves forward:
- all forms of ground transportation, (cars, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, buses, taxis, trains)
- the mail, parcels, packages (Post Office plus Courier and Delivery Services)
- communications - email, social media, phone calls, conversations
- it also includes daily living (the people we encounter, the items we deal with, the transactions we make and how we relate to others.)
During Mercury retrograde, all the areas under the domain of Mercury tend to go "backwards." They certainly have trouble going forwards. We can expect transportation delays, missed buses and car breakdowns. Mail will be late or lost, daily items that we handle like keys and papers will be misplaced; and communications with others will be confused and misunderstood. Plus people from our past will pop up into our lives. ("Boris?" "Natasha!")
However, we can make good use of Mercury retrograde times to finish things, study the past, do research and reflect. But do not open a business or begin new projects. Mercury retrograde is also a bad time to buy cars, trucks, bikes, computers, printers and phones.
The dates below are the actual retrograde dates plus the buffer times. This is because Mercury starts to slow down before it goes retrograde. Then afterwards, it needs more time to catch up to where it was at when it first went retrograde.
The craziness (delays and errors) is most pronounced during the actual retrograde time. However, if you are buying a big ticket item like a car or a computer, I recommend that you play it safe and avoid these purchases during the buffer times as well. You'll be glad you did.
