Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Power struggles with siblings, neighbours and relatives are likely today. You might try to convince others to agree with you or someone tries to persuade you. You might want to get to the bottom of things; or perhaps you just want to be in control.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Arguments about money, earnings and possessions will occur today. Someone might criticize how you spend money or vice versa. You might quarrel about who owns something. Or you might urge someone to buy something. Whatever the case - lighten up!

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

This is not an easy day. It's the only New Moon in your sign all year, which means it's your best day to think how to improve your appearance and your relations with others. However, arguments with others are likely, especially if they try to tell you what to do. (Groan.)

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

You might dig for secrets today because you want to get to the bottom of something or you want to solve a problem. Do not to be too pushy about what you do because people are volatile today. Tempers are ready to flare. Duck!

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Squabbles with a friend or a group might take place today because your ideologies or goals differ. Perhaps someone wants to air their grievances. (Let's face it; nobody likes to hear this.) Whatever the case, a little tolerance and patience will diffuse things.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Ego battles with people in authority are classic today. But why go there? There is no upside. However, do not let someone coerce you or bully you into a stance or a point of view or to do something. It's important to stand up for yourself.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Someone might want to push their propaganda or proselytize an idea - and you are not interested. If this is what you have to face today, it won't be easy. Best to sidestep this person or event. If you are the one pushing your ideas on others - chill out.

Squabbles about shared property, inheritances and insurance disputes might take place today. You might want to know what someone else is worth? Or perhaps, someone is prying into your business? Whatever the case, put a lid on it. Don't let this get out of hand.

Difficulties with partners and close friends are practically unavoidable today. Ironically, today's New Moon is the perfect time for you to think how you can improve your closest relationships. However, survival seems to be the bottom line today. (Gulp.) Don't let things go up in smoke.

Parents must be patient with children today because people are disgruntled and at each other's throats. Too often, we take out our frustrations on our kids, simply because we're annoyed or unhappy. This is also a tough day for romance. Be patient and remember how to smile. Cheers!
