Aries (March 21-April 19)
This is a poor day for partners or parents to discuss financial responsibilities related to the care and education of children. People are quick to be critical or find reasons why things cannot be done instead of why they can be done. (Ditto for subjects other than children.)
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Step softly around family members today, especially authority figures. Do not awake the sleeping giant. Don't ask for permission or co-operation. Instead, sidestep these issues for three days because today people are critical and inclined to be unco-operative. Oops.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
It's all too easy to fall into worry mode today. (Totally anti-productive but a hard habit to break.) Remember: "Worry is like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do but gets you nowhere." And it's true, worry is a habit.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Although you might fall into feelings of pessimism, this is actually a good day for heavy mental work regarding money, cash, banking and figuring out what you owe and what you own. You're in a practical frame of mind and definitely not frivolous. (Oh no.)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
For most of us today the glass is half-empty instead of half-full. Because Mercury is at odds with stern Saturn, it's easy to fall into a pessimistic frame of mind. Fortunately, this is a temporary situation, which means you have to grin and bear it. (It might mean saying goodbye to someone.)
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
You will be successful in all aspects of research today because you're content to plow through details, forms and hidden work to discover what you want to find. In addition, your powers of concentration are excellent. Just keep digging.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Someone older or more experienced might be critical of your efforts today. Don't let this discourage you. This sort of thing is actually taking place with millions of people today. The thing to keep in mind is this is temporary and by Tuesday, all is forgotten.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
The world is in Eyore mode today. ("Woe is me. It will probably rain on my birthday.") Try not to let this get you down. In particular, parents, bosses, teachers and VIPs will discourage you or criticize you. Yikes. Run away! Run away!
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Avoid controversial subjects like politics, religion and racial issues today because agreement or consensus will be practically impossible. So-called experts and teachers might obliterate your argument. Even your good ideas will be met with, "Talk to the hand."
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
You might feel broke today. Or you might feel disappointed about someone's lack of generosity or your share of something. ("What? This measly amount is all I get?") This is not an ideal day to discuss these matters. Wait until midweek when everyone has a more optimistic, positive frame of mind.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Co-operation from others will be difficult to get today. You might as well know this before you even begin. In particular, bosses, parents and people who are older or more experienced might discourage you or veto your suggestions. Don't let this get you down. Instead, wait until Tuesday or Wednesday this week.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Although this is a bit of a pessimistic day for many, your powers of concentration are excellent, which means you can get a lot of routine work done and out of the way. Just keep your head down and stay focused and you can ride this out beautifully.
