Aries (March 21-April 19)
Hold the phone. Mondays are frequently challenging - ya think? And today is no exception. Guard against power struggles with authority figures, especially about funding, resources and equipment. Conversations with romantic partners are also rocky and relations with kids are dismal. Oy vey. (We'll always have parrots.)
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
This might be an accident-prone day simply because you're overemotional or angry with someone - probably because you're trying to prove a point or, conversely, because you have to resist someone who is doing this to you. (Gulp.) Partners or older family members might also be oppressive. (Yikes.)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Squabbles about money and shared resources or jointly held property (or possibly debt, inheritances and insurance) are likely today. In part, this is because your communications with others are stiff and aloof. Someone older or in a position of authority might squelch you. (Time to send out for dark chocolate.)
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Intense encounters with others are likely today. In fact, some of you might experience a breakdown with a partnership or important relationship. Financial difficulties could be part of the stress, as might be responsibilities with children. It's complicated. Be cool; be patient.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
People are leery and fearful today, which affects their relationships with each other. You will definitely notice this. In addition, some kind of hidden power struggle might be going on that affects your work or even your health. Don't let anyone push you around. (But don't go looking for trouble.)
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
If you can avoid confrontations with someone in a group situation, by all means, do so. People are pretty ruthless today. For some, a lot is at stake. In addition, your social skills are not your best today. (Join the club, this applies to millions.) Easy does it.

Power struggles with authority figures are par for the course today. This could include or be related to difficulties with someone in a group. You're surrounded! (Circle the wagons and get the women and children in the middle.) Strive for diplomacy. Don't shoot from the hip.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Avoid arguments about politics, religion, racial issues, publishing, the media and anything to do with medicine and the law. (That covers practically everything.) People are vehement about expressing their opinions today. Don't join in. Buffer yourself. (Simple self-survival.)
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
This is a poor day for important financial discussions or conversations about how to share an inheritance or deal with jointly held property. People will be at odds with each other. Heated arguments might even cause a split. In turn, travel plans could also look bleak. (Oh no.)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Conversations with partners and close friends are stressful, emotional and unforgiving today. Therefore, postpone important discussions. You are simply not in the mood and you also won't get what you want. Be smart. Timing is everything. Wait until late in the week.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
