Moon Alert

We have the "all clear" today to shop (whether you spend $10 or $10 million) and make important decisions. The Moon is in Gemini.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Remember to look sharp because you're going to run into old flames. (Spare yourself the humiliation.) However, also remember that the next five weeks (in fact, in a way, the whole summer) is a great time to finish a creative project. Pick one.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

There's no question you'll be in contact with relatives and family members you haven't seen for a while. Your best defense is a tidy place and stocked fridge. That review about a Broadway play, "They stayed away in hordes." is not going to apply to you.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Be vigilant about charging your cell phone, paying your Hydro and phone bill and checking your car for potential problems. This is because you're in the midst of a celestial conspiracy to mess up communications and delay transportation. It's only temporary.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

If you're looking for a job, return to where you applied or worked before or had some previous contact. That's because there's a tape loop happening right now. Use this to your advantage. This is also good time to wrap up financial loose ends.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

Instead of focusing on late appointments, confused communications, silly errors, misplaced papers and keys, focus on the fact that while Mercury is retrograde in your sign, you can finish an enormous amount of work waiting to be done. Get busy! (You've got the whole summer.)

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You're a fact junkie. You don't try to be, you just are. You know so many trivial details about so many things it's unnatural. ("Human filing cabinet!") However, right now your ability to research anything is phenomenal. Nothing and no one can stop you.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

It's fun reconnecting with old friends (most of the time). After all, you have history with these people. Enjoy your chance to revisit memories with pals and acquaintances from clubs and organizations, people you haven't seen for a while. Catch up on the gossip.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Many of you will be involved with a parent or a boss more than usual now or later this summer. For some reason, these people are back in your life! It's also a good time to rethink your life direction in general. Are you headed where you want to go?

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

You adore travel. While Mercury is retrograde, travel delays and changes are more likely. Because of this influence, it's easier for you to travel someplace that you've been before. In either case, double-check all travel plans and reservations to avoid disappointment.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Frequently, Mercury retrograde can really be a pain in the neck. But this particular Mercury retrograde can be very helpful for your sign. It will more easily allow you to finish up old business with inheritances, taxes, insurance matters and shared property. Use this during the next five weeks!

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Because Mercury retrograde is occurring directly opposite your sign, you will surely be involved with ex-partners more than usual at some point in the next month or so. (Probably already happening.) Take advantage of this time to get the kind of closure that makes you feel good.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Do not be discouraged by silly errors, mixed-up communications and lost paperwork, all aggravating details that will dog your steps in the next four-to-five weeks. The upside is this same energy will assist you in finishing projects already begun. Yay!

If Your Birthday Is Today

Actor Tristan Wilds (1989) shares your birthday today. You know how to get what you want because you are resourceful and influential. You know how to use material that you acquire for your own benefit as well as the benefit of others. It's important to appreciate your ability to influence others. In the year ahead, something you've been involved with for nine years will diminish or end to make room for something new.
