Aries (March 21-April 19)

Don't worry if you feel isolated cut off from others today. In large measure, this is your own doing. You are the one who is erecting the fences. In fact, a lot of people are doing this today. That's why there's a general malaise of loneliness and feeling of isolation. Yikes! (Just for today.)

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

The best way to handle today's energy is to work alone, or work behind the scenes, and pick some routine work you might normally avoid -- and just do it. People feel down, grumpy, depressed and negative. Nevertheless, your powers of concentration are excellent. Therefore, put them to work.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Your relationship to groups today (small meetings or big conferences) is a bit challenging. Conversation doesn't flow as freely as you might hope. Furthermore, someone older is critical or a real wet blanket. (You need this like a fish needs a bicycle.)

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

This is not the day to approach bosses, VIPs, parents and teachers for permission or approval about anything. Their reply will simply be, "Talk to the hand!" (Bummer.) People are not receptive today, and they're not willing to budge an inch. Don't walk into this one. (Forewarned is forearmed.)

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

Avoid important discussions about politics, religion, racial issues, or anything to do with publishing, the media, medicine, and the law. People will choose to disagree. People are not cooperative today. In fact, they are not only negative, they are critical! Run away! Run away!

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You might be disappointed in your fair share of something today. Discussions about inheritances and shared property will only discourage you. Others aren't generous. Furthermore, they're pessimistic. Walk softly and carry a big stick.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

It's better to work alone today. Discussions with partners and close friends will only discourage you. That's because people themselves are feeling discouraged today. Furthermore, everyone feels cut off and lonely - in varying degrees. Cut others some slack. Don't expect too much from people.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Authority figures or older coworkers might discourage you at work today. People are too focused on why something can't be done instead of why it can be done. They are certainly distrustful of innovative, new ideas. Therefore, don't even go there. Keep your head down and your powder dry.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

For some of you, children seem to be an added responsibility or burdensome today. It is what it is. For others, romantic discussions are painful because your loved one might be critical or distant. As a result, you feel shut out, lonely and unloved. (Dark times require dark chocolate.)

Postpone family discussions today. This is not the day for them. Someone, very likely someone who is older, is going to rain on your parade. (Gulp.) Your powers of concentration are excellent today. Therefore, use them to do boring, routine work because this is actually what you are willing to do! This urge doesn't come along that often so make the most of it. You can get a lot done.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

You're very conservative about financial matters today. You're not in the mood to spend money. However, if you do buy anything, it will have to be practical and long-lasting - well into the next century. But your detail-oriented focus will help you wrap up money matters.
