Moon Alert

We have the "all clear" today to shop (whether you spend $10 or 10 million) and make important decisions until 11:30 p.m. EST. The Moon is in Cancer.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

You might feel tension building up in your domestic scene or with family members today, because tomorrow is the Full Moon. Quite often, the day before the Full Moon is the one that is really hairy. Although, not always -- tough to say. But tension is increasing!

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

This could be an interesting day. You might meet new people, or learn new information, or come up with new ideas. It's a mildly accident-prone day as well, so be careful. People are a bit antsy because the Full Moon is building up before it peaks tomorrow. Gently, gently.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Stay in touch with your bank account today. Keep your receipts. Count your change. Keep track of your cash flow. If you think you have lost or misplaced anything, look for it immediately. Things are a bit unreliable when it comes to money and possessions today. (Oops, Did you drop this?)

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

This are not boring today. But you might feel pressure about money, possessions, inheritances, and shared property. Surprise news about travel or someone far way might catch you off guard. Ditto for higher education, and anything in publishing and the media. ("Whaaat?")

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

Tomorrow's Full Moon is the only Full Moon in your sign all year. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Mars is in your sign for eight months instead of the usual six weeks. You feel under the guns! Take 11 deep breaths, and go back to bed.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Somebody (probably female) might say or do something that surprises you. You might also meet somebody new who is interesting and bit bizarre. For example, it could be someone who is doing a nontraditional job for their gender.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Be aware that some aspect of your private life might be public today. Or you might have to assert yourself in way that surprises others. (Whoa there!) Tension between yourself, and parents or bosses could be building up today due to tomorrow's Full Moon.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Travel plans might change today. Expect a few surprises with higher education, publishing, medicine, the media, and the law. An underlying current president today is a need for a escape, or a drive for freedom. You want something different! You want more out of life. ("Can I have seconds, please?")

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Stay in touch with your bank account today. If other situations are pending precipitously related to taxes, debt, inheritances (the wolf at the door) then don't ignore these things because something might surprise you. Not good. Be alert. (The world needs more lerts.)

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Be as diplomatic as possible with partners and close friends today because someone could throw you a curveball. You don't like to be caught off guard. You like a predictable outcome. You might meet somebody knew or be introduced through a partner to a new situation. Anything could happen.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Your work schedule might be interrupted today. Quite possibly, computer crashes, power outages, cancelled appointments, staff shortages, and broken equipment will make your day go sideways. But it can also be very interesting. You might need a real character. (You adore characters!)

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Parents and teachers should be extra vigilant with children in their care today. Many people will have an unexpected flirtation that is pleasant and perhaps racy? It's nice to know someone thinks you're cute. ("I've still got the magic!")

If Your Birthday Is Today

French President Nicolas Sarkozy (1955) shares your birthday today. You are strong-willed, and full of energy and drive. Because of this, you're capable of amazing achievements! You do your homework. You know what you're getting into, and you're practical -- a great combination for success. However, some of you are attached to your home like armchair travelers. You might encounter a change this year, perhaps as significant as something around 2001.
