Aries (March 21-April 19)
Let's face it, today isn't an easy day. Parents or authority figures might be discouraging. Power struggles are likely. It looks like a lot of people forgot to take their pleasant pill. Your only choice is to be a force for good.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Someone older or more powerful might try to dissuade you or stop you from doing something. Or they might make disparaging remarks. Worse yet, they might snicker softly. Don't fall into negative thinking today. Avoid arguments with others. Ignore the cruel snickers.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
This is not a good day for power struggles about money or possessions. (Not that there ever is one.) Children, romance, gambling, vacations and pleasure might disappoint. Don't succumb to obsessed feelings. Be free from all this! Keep your head down and your powder dry.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
This is a challenging day. The Moon is in your sign, which makes you emotional. Furthermore, it's at odds with two major planets, which is a bit like being on the highway with a flat tire and no gas. Nevertheless, if you can't fly, you can climb. And if you can't drive, you can walk -- or hire a chauffeur-driven limousine.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Just accept the fact that today is emotionally challenging for everyone. You are not being singled out. Everyone is having mild (or not so mild) difficulties with others. People are critical, demanding, and pushy! Oy vey. Obviously, it's time to send out for dark chocolate. For everyone.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Relations with others in group situations (especially females) are difficult today. Discussions about money, earnings, children, and creative projects will fall flat. You'll meet with objections and refusals. "Talk to the hand." This tells you to wait for another day, doesn't it? Simple!
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
All relations with partners and especially bosses, parents and authority figures are in the toilet today. People are uncooperative, critical, and meddling. Others will challenge whatever you say. You might jump into the fray as well. But why? Just wait because tomorrow is a better day!
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Avoid arguments about politics, religion, racial issues, publishing, the media, and anything to do with medicine and the law. Actually, just avoid arguments. People are close minded and opinionated today. Therefore, don't try to push your ideas on anyone. Just take it slow and easy.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
This is definitely not the day for important discussions about inheritances, fundraising, how to spend a specific amount of money, how to deal with budgeting, or discussions about group expenses and the wealth and resources of others. Don't even go there! Take a walk before someone tells you to take a hike.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Power struggles with close friends, partners, as well as authority figures -- bosses, parents and the police -- are uptight today. Therefore, why not avoid all this nasty stuff. Play your cards close to your chest. Don't go looking for trouble. (It's always darkest before it gets pitch black.)
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
You've had easier days at work. No question. Knowing this ahead of time, (because clever you are reading this at breakfast, right?) make no demands on coworkers. Keep a low-profile. If you're in meetings with others, keep your head down and doodle napkin math.

Parents and others who work with children will have to be extra patient with kids today. This is the classic day for meltdowns and discouraged tears. This same dampening influence can apply to romantic relationships. Sometimes life is hard. Even the cutting edge seems dull.
