Aries (March 21-April 19)
I won't kid you. This day has its challenges. But hey -- who more than you is ready to rise to the challenge? After all, when the going gets tough, the tough get a Venti decaf, 2 shots of espresso, blended with ice and 2% milk mocha, with whipped cream on top. This is not the day to introduce reforms at work.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
A rocky road for romance! Ditto for dealing with children. Vacations are frustrating, along with sports and the arts. But -- did life promise you a Rose Garden? Expect surprises from group situations. Whaaat? (Oops.)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Events within your family are unpredictable. Somebody might be hot under the collar about assuming too much responsibility, or they might not be happy about how something will be shared? Tread carefully around powerful, intense people. Give them a wide berth.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Conversations with others are testy today. Don't take this to heart. Don't take anything personally. It's a challenging day for everyone because plans are going sideways in a New York minute. In addition, there is so much at stake! Oh well.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Expect a few surprises financially speaking. For starters, make friends with your bank account. Caution against impulsive purchases. At least, keep your receipts. Nevertheless, new sources of income might appear. They might be related to technology. "I don't do Windows!" "I don't do Linux!"
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Relations with partners and close friends are challenging and full of surprises. Someone might introduce sweeping changes at home or within your family, and you might not be thrilled with these changes. On the other hand, perhaps you're the one introducing them?
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Expect a few surprises at work today. Canceled appointments, computer crashes, power outages, staff shortages, and people sounding off are just some possibilities. Some days things are just hard. This is one of those days. But tomorrow, and on the weekend, things are waaay better! ("Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.")
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Steer clear of difficult conversations with groups today because they will be anti-productive. (That's the polite phrase for it.) Upsets regarding sports, entertainment world, the arts, and romance, as well as dealing with children, might complicate your day. (Have we left anything out?) Nothing you can't handle.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Dealings with authority figures -- including bosses and parents -- will be dicey today, so stead carefully! Do not wake the sleeping giant. Do not quit your day job. You feel rebellious about something. Surprising news might catch you off guard. Nevertheless, maintain your cool.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Travel plans might be canceled today along with school schedules and anything to do with publishing, the media, medicine, and the law. All those plans - out the window! Definitely avoid arguments about politics, religion, and racial issues. (They could turn nasty.) And anyhow, there are none so deaf as those who are wearing headphones. Right?
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Quarrels about shared property, inheritances, taxes, debt, and anything that is held jointly with anyone else might arise today. Actually, this is where you will find some surprises. Others might expect you to step up to the plate and assume increased responsibilities. Oy vey.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Be tolerant and gentle with partners and close friends because everyone is having a tough day today (and you know whereof I speak). Be encouraged by the fact that the next few days are quite lovely. You just have to make it through today. No biggie. Especially if you can find a great shoe sale.
