Aries (March 21-April 19)
"It was Monday. It was Monday all day." This is a tough Monday. Your ruler Mars is at odds with stern Saturn. Frankly, this makes life hard. Whatever you do, proceed slowly and cautiously. Follow the rule of the experienced carpenter: "Measure twice, cut once."
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You might attempt to do something at work to generate or boost your income and in turn, you encounter opposition from the government or authority figures. Aagghh! Similarly, you might try to make a major purchase or something like that -- and again, you encounter difficulties. Bummer!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Today you feel you have to struggle to even assert yourself in any way. Life isn't easy! People -- especially people you respect -- might discourage you from your plans. As a result, you might feel privately angry, and yet you cannot express this outwardly. Grrr.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
It's a curious thing; however, some kind of fear (conscious or unconscious) could make you depressed today, or hold you back from being your wonderful self. That's okay. We all get days like this. Why else do think they invented butter, dark chocolate and beer?
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Look out world! It's almost a certainty that you'll encounter difficulties with others, especially people in groups. Meetings, conferences, conventions and even casual get-togethers could be prickly. That's because whatever you try to do seems to be blocked by someone who is a wet blanket!
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Don't go up against authority figures today. They will only oppose you. "Talk to the hand." This means you should delay asking for favours or permission from bosses, parents, teachers, anyone in government and the police. Save yourself the discouragement and the humiliation. (Tip: Thursday is the day to do this.)
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Travel plans and matters related to higher education, publishing, the media, medicine and the law will be stopped dead in the water. Whaaat? If you know this ahead of time, don't even push the matter. Delay these issues until Thursday which is a great day!
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Disputes about shared property, government matters, taxes, debt, mortgages and insurance matters might come to a head today. Don't push your luck because you will likely not get your way. If you wait till Thursday -- it's quite another matter! (Timing is everything.)
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Just tiptoe around partners and close friends today. No matter what you do, disagreements and disharmony are likely. Don't let this get you down: things look extremely favourable on Thursday. Go figure. (That's the day to negotiate.)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
You won't be able to get your way at work today. Furthermore, whatever you're doing will turn into grunt work where you just have to slog it out. (Take a long lunch if you can.) However, if you want to achieve something special, do it on Thursday. No question.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Matters related to children or their care and education, as well as anything to do with sports, the entertainment world and show business might come to a standstill today. Co-operation is impossible! In addition, romance is in the toilet. Hold the phone. On Thursday, these same areas will be very smooth. (Whew!)
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Domestic disharmony and difficulties with family members are likely today. Therefore, be easygoing and understanding. Don't be tough on others; and don't let others criticize you either.
