Aries (March 21-April 19)
Refrain from being critical with everyday contacts, relatives and most especially siblings. Nobody likes to hear criticism, even if you think they need to hear it. (Ha!) Even constructive criticism can be a bummer. Try to put a positive spin on things.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You might be concerned about finances today. Perhaps your cash flow has slowed to a trickle. (Join the club; we number millions.) You certainly feel conservative about your money today, and will only endorse thrifty decisions. You're reluctant to take any kind of a gamble (and wisely so.)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
It's easy to be discouraged about a number of things today. This is one of those days where you feel that your cup is half empty instead of half-full. Don't let this get you down. Mercury the planet of communications and intellectual activity is under a squeeze play from stern Saturn. Everybody feels glum.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Although you don't feel particularly jovial today, you do feel productive, especially with respect to doing any kind of research or digging for answers. You'll shine here! Work alone or behind the scenes -- just for today. You've got some quiet thinking to do.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Someone older or more experienced might be critical of you personally or critical of something you're doing. Naturally, this will go over like a lead balloon. Praise inspires you; criticism cripples you! You are the sign of the Sun; therefore, you need encouragement. Is this too much to ask? Hello?
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
This is a poor day to ask for approval or permission from bosses, parents, teachers and VIPs. The answer will likely be, "Talk to the hand!" People are not receptive to your requests. In fact, not only might you be rebuffed, you might be criticized as well. (Ooohh, I hate that.)
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Your attempts to explore political or religious ideas or to seek opportunities in publishing, the media and higher education will probably be thwarted or stopped. People are not interested; and they're not willing to co-operate. Similarly, travel plans could be delayed or scrapped. Oh well.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
There's a good chance you'll be disappointed in your share of something. Others seem to be stingy today and not forthcoming with money, goodies or anything you might have hoped for. (Bummer.) This could impact your ability to be generous or not. There's a domino effect to this squeeze play. And so it goes.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Discussions with partners and close friends are discouraging today. Others are too busy telling you why you can't do something instead of encouraging you to take a leap of faith. Don't be judgmental. Pessimism is rampant throughout the whole world today.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
No matter where you turn today, at work or perhaps with health-related matters, your opportunities seem to be limited or even squelched. Fortunately, this is just a temporary dark cloud on your horizon. In fact, it's fleeting. No big deal. Relax.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
It's easy to be critical of romantic partners today; and it is similarly, easy to be critical of younger people or children in your care. It's as if there are negative, critical spores in the air! This stuff is contagious. (Which makes sense considering enthusiasm is contagious, right?)

Family discussions might be strained today. People are uptight about something. It feels like it's too much to bother to repair something. Discussions seem to be just beating a dead horse. By next week, things are completely different! (It's always darkest before it gets pitch black.)
