Aries (March 21-April 19)
Get ready for a roller-coaster ride during the month of May. It might already have begun. Expect breakdowns in communication, lost papers, transportation delays and misplaced items. Pay your phone bill. Charge your cell phone.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Mercury is retrograde in the month of May. This will help you resolve old business deals, or to return items you previously bought, or to find a job where you worked before. But it also causes delayed finances and cheques to be late in the mail.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Many of you will encounter ex-partners and old friends from your past now. That's because Mercury is going retrograde in your sign before it slips back into Taurus. This is a great time to do financial business or bring closure to past issues.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Your ability to do research or be a sleuth is excellent in the next month. When you want answers from the past, or hidden, obscure information, you're like a hot knife cutting through butter! Contacts with old friends and people from groups and clubs are likely.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Discussions with old friends cause you to tweak your goals for the long-term future. People might affirm what you've been thinking for a while now. Encountering people you haven't seen for ages can be a reality check because you see yourself through their eyes. ("I'm still terrific.")
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
In the next few weeks, you can almost count on running into old bosses, parents you've been out of touch with, or any other authority figures in your life that you haven't seen for awhile. These encounters might be helpful. They'll certainly be interesting.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Although you will likely encounter delays to travel plans or anything to do with higher education, publishing, media, the law and medicine -- this same influence will also allow you to finish up old business in these areas. This extra time to tweak your plans and your efforts could be helpful.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
The next month is a good time to rehash how to deal with shared property, shared debt and anything else to do with inheritances, wills, insurance matters or anything else you own jointly with someone. You'll make great headway cutting through a lot of red tape now.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Old partners are back in your life in some way. This could be fascinating or horrifying, depending on your history. We all have past partnerships and friendships that have ended well or disastrously. (Like those Swiss barometers where a man in an overcoat or a woman in a summer dress pops out.)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Just accept the fact that you're going to have lots of snafus and silly errors at work starting now for the next several weeks, or possibly a month. It's Mercury retrograde. This almost magically creates confusion, mixed-up messages, lost papers, silly errors and cancelled appointments. Maddening!
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Old flames will be back in your life again. In addition, parents and teachers might find past issues with children are back on their plate again as well. This is all the doing of pesky Mercury retrograde. Unfortunately, it can wreak havoc with vacation plans. Courage!
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Relatives you didn't even know you have might be camped out on your doorstep this month. Stock the fridge, because somebody is coming. Nevertheless, the next few weeks are great for doing old home repairs and rehashing past family issues.
