We have the all-clear today to shop (whether you spend $10 or 10 million) and make important decisions. After 5 a.m. EDT today, Moon is in Leo. Today Mercury is officially retrograde even though we've been feeling its effects already.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
If you haven't heard from ex-partners and old friends already, you will very soon. Sometimes it's great to hear from old friends. Sometimes it's not so great to hear from ex-partners. However, this is an opportunity for closure and wrapping up old business.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Silly errors, goof-ups, delays, misplaced items, lost papers and staff shortages dog your footsteps even more. Just be patient. Don't take it out on yourself and others, it's just Murphy's Law in action. (Experience teaches you to recognize a mistake when you've made it again.)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Because Mercury is your ruler and today it officially goes retrograde, prepare for the worst. However, it will bring old flames back into your world. Sometimes embers can be ignited. But remember they still have the power to scorch. (And you've got the calluses to prove it.)
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Family members you haven't heard from for ages might be camped on your doorstep. This is the classic time for a family reunion (anytime in the next month.) However, it's an excellent time to finish renovations, repairs and domestic projects.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
This Mercury retrograde triggers silly errors that plague your daily existence: lost keys, misplaced papers, cancelled appointments, confused communications, minor breakages, and cheques late in the mail. Fortunately, these are minor, hangnail annoyances.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Double-check all financial transactions. Make friends with your bank account. Keep track of cash and possessions because it's easy to misplace and lose items or money. However, you might wrap up a business deal that's been dragging on too long.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Today Mercury officially goes retrograde in your sign. All kinds of memories, events and people from your past will come into your life now. Your efficiency in small, daily details will suffer but you can still get a lot done, especially if you work on projects that were already begun.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Your ability to research items and dig into the past is excellent during the next month. You'll come up with great results, and you might discover secrets that surprise even you. Watch out for old tape loops and old habits that no longer serve your best interests. (Don't suck your thumb at the office.)
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Old friends are back in your life again, along with previous opportunities to join clubs and organizations. This month you will definitely be sitting around trading lies with old cronies about the bad old days. You might be rethinking some long-term goals as well.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
With Mercury now retrograde at high noon in your chart, one scary possibility is your goof-ups or minor failures will suddenly be obvious to bosses, parents, teachers and VIPs. You hate this. You value your reputation. Public failure horrifies you. (I once met three perfect people. They were boooring!)
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Expect travel delays in the next month. Ditto for dealings with publishing, the media, education, medicine and the law. However, you can use this Mercury retrograde to research the past, finish old projects, and successfully prove your point by harkening back to precedent-setting events.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Lots of business with shared property, jointly held possessions, shared responsibilities, inheritances, taxes and debt are back on the table. Fortunately, Mercury retrograde will actually help you bring things to a conclusion or at least make progress in reaching a consensus.
