Aries (March 21-April 19)
Conversations with others, especially siblings and relatives, are stiff and awkward. People are easily critical. You might also feel worried about something. Just remember worry is a habit. It's like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do but gets you nowhere.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You might be concerned about financial matters. Things are not as rosy as you had hoped. Someone older or more experienced might be on your case about how you spend money or how you handle or take care of your possessions. Oh well.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Today the Moon is in your sign making a harsh aspect to stern Saturn. This makes dealings with others a bit stiff and not as smooth as usual. People are inclined to be wet blankets -- raining on your parade and all that. You need this like a fish needs a bicycle.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
It's easy to feel a bit down, depressed or morose today. Fortunately, it's a mild hit of this. Nothing extreme. Refrain from the impulse to criticize others because that will only spiral things down further. You can either be part of the problem or part of the solution. Right?
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Something to do with your financial scene or perhaps a possession or something you own could be discouraging today. ("Discouraging? I'm broke!") Mike Todd said that being was a temporary situation, but being poor was a state of mind. Courage.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Relations with parents, bosses, teachers and authority figures are restricting or limiting or just not very good today. You might find others cold and insensitive. People don't pick up on each other's signals very well, which means communications are like two ships passing in the night.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Someone older or more experienced than you might be critical of something you're doing. It's certainly not something you welcome. They might have a point or they might completely miss the scope of whatever it is you're trying to do. It's hard to know what's happening in another person's life unless you've walked a mile in their wedgies.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Travel plans and matters pertaining to higher education, publishing, the media, medicine and the law could encounter a temporary detour today. You're not happy about it. But is it really such a big deal? At least be reassured this negative influence is fleeting. Gone in hours.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
This is a poor day for important discussions with partners and close friends. In fact, it's a poor day for discussions with practically anyone. People are out of sorts, withdrawn, critical and defensive. Nobody can hum a tune. It's enough to drive you to a carton of Cherries Garcia.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
If you're at work today, co-workers might be glum and unresponsive. Or perhaps you'll encounter customers and clients who are the same way. Everyone has a bummer story to tell. "All living in one room? Ha! You were lucky to have a room. We used to live in a corridor."
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Romance is in the toilet today. Be forgiving and patient with others. Everyone is just a bit off their cud. (That's Prairie talk.) Children might be burdensome or a heavy responsibility today. That does goes with the territory. Just keep moving forward.

Family relations are sort of the pits today. If you're reading this in the morning, watch the toast, it will likely burn. Be patient with family members, especially parents. This dismal little influence is fleeting but it's here. No big deal.
