Aries (March 21-April 19)
You might be discouraged today, especially about travel plans, or something to do with politics, religion and/or racial issues. Your idealism has lost its sizzle. But soft! What light through yonder window breaks? This is just a temporary dark cloud on your horizon. Relax.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You might be disappointed with your so-called fair share of something. Perhaps it feels like someone else is stingy? And maybe that's so. Today things look worse than they are, so wait a bit before you react. Tomorrow is a different day.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
This is a poor day for serious discussions with partners and close friends. You don't feel upbeat and neither do they. But it's no big deal. Actually, discussions with parents and family members are also a bit sticky. Maybe you should hide in a closet?
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Communications with co-workers are dour today. (Did you know that dour is one of the most mispronounced words in the English language? I always mispronounce it, because I'm afraid if I say it correctly people will think I'm saying it wrong. (Yes, I'm that insecure.)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Romance is in the toilet. Try to lighten up. Don't expect too much from your sweetie. The duties and obligations and responsibilities related to children seem to be onerous today. Oy vey! There's more? Yup. Vacations are costly, and sports-related news is disappointing. (Is that enough?)
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
This is a poor day for important family discussions, especially with parents or older relatives. You'll just get that "When I was your age" routine: "Filthy cracked cup? We never had a cup. We used to drink out of a rolled-up newspaper!"
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
It's easy to fall into little bouts of depression today. (Actually, some of you might fall into larger ones. Be careful to look where you're going.) Fortunately, this is a swiftly passing influence. Don't let it get you down. But it could make discussions with siblings and relatives a bit stiff.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
You might feel a money crunch today. Join the club, we number millions. Stern Saturn is at odds with today's Moon and this always makes people feel depressed, lonely and out of touch with each other. Let's hope you don't run out of coffee this morning as well. Aagghh.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Avoid important discussions with bosses, parents, teachers and VIPs. If you don't follow this advice, you may regret it. "Talk to the hand!" Just play it low-key. Don't ask for permission or approval or anything like that. And definitely, definitely don't ask for more porridge.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Some days we're ready to conquer the world; and some days we can't get out of bed. Today is somewhere between these two, although admittedly, some of you are reading this in bed. Ah yes. Separations can take place easily now. So don't flirt with this unless you want it to happen.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Relations with friends and groups are a bit awkward today. People feel so unfriendly they won't even admit it. Therefore, they're just pretending to be friendly, which isn't very friendly, is it? However, it isn't very friendly to admit you feel unfriendly! It's tough.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Be extra-patient with bosses, parents, VIPs, partners and practically everyone. People are in the dumps today. What happened to spontaneous joy and practicing random acts of kindness? Actually, they're still present -- they're just hiding, waiting until it's safe to come out.
