Aries (March 21-April 19)
This is an extremely poor day for financial discussions. Don't ask for a raise. Don't ask for more equipment. You'll be lucky to get lunch. Everyone feels like they're pushing a boulder uphill today. It's just that kinda day. Financial matters in particular, sort of look bleak. (Yikes.)
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
There's no way to sugarcoat this. You've had better days. Today fiery Mars is in your sign getting beaten up by Saturn. Authority figures will block you no matter where you turn. Ditto for family members, especially parents. Just coast. (Time for a good Merlot and a bit of Brie.)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
You might feel angry and yet you can't say anything. (You're fuming because you're a prisoner of your own quiet rage.) Alternatively, you might feel restless and out of sorts and not know why. (It's because you're fuming because you're a prisoner of your own quiet rage.) Yup.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Don't expect too much from others today. You'll be lucky to get the time of day from people. If you ask for something, the answer will be no, or advice you don't want. (Time to send out for dark chocolate.)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
This is a lousy day to deal with parents, authority figures, bosses, and the police. Their response will be, "Talk to the hand." If you try to initiate anything, you'll encounter resistance. Naturally, this will discourage you! (You've got a heart -- you bleed.)
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Many, many people will feel demoralized and discouraged today. If you feel this way -- you're not alone. Why is this? It's because little spores of discouragement are in the air. They're leaking through the cracks of the ionosphere. (Serious research is being done on this.) A beer after work might help.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
It will be difficult to get cooperation from others about shared possessions, debt, taxes, insurance matters and all that kind of red tape stuff. Not only that, something someone says might make you feel inadequate. It endorses your own worst fears! (Relax, it will go away.)
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Don't expect cooperation from others today. Knowing this, you can sail through your day relatively unscathed. Interaction with partners and close friends will be combative or a least discouraging. ("What a jerk!") Therefore, don't even go there!
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
It seems your efforts at work today are shot down by circumstances and people. Someone might make you feel like a failure. Phfft! When I used to moan about feeling like a failure, my old boyfriend would always say "Will I do?"
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
You might feel world-weary for some reason today. The burdens and responsibilities of taking care of children, or worries about cash and security, or wondering how you're going to throw a party or entertain -- any of these could give you a heat rash. Just let it go.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Things ain't easy around home today. No siree! Someone is on the warpath and it could be you. If so, button your lip and cut people some slack. No one wants to hear about it. If someone else is on the rampage, then avoid them like the plague. Oy vey!
