Moon Alert

We have the All Clear today to shop and make important decisions. The Moon is in Sagittarius.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Today gets better as it wears on. Let's face it - we're dealing with Monday morning! The early morning fog clears up by the afternoon. By then you're working hard with a nice sense of purpose. (Good.)

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Financial matters are a bit confusing early in the day; however, later you manage to sort things out especially with respect to home, real estate and domestic issues. Family conversations will accomplish much. It's a good day to pay bills and take care of insurance matters.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

With the Moon opposite your sign, expect to go more than halfway when dealing with others. It's not a big deal. Just give in to this notion. Be cooperative and friendly. Serious discussions might take place later in the day. It's a good time to iron out fuzzy details with others.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Be patient getting to work this morning. And be patient with coworkers in the earlier part of the day. Later you can tear a strip off them. (Not!) As this day progresses, your desire to work and become efficient and productive will increase. Keep this in mind if you're fumbling around in the morning.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

You certainly don't feel much like working this morning. If you can, take a mental health day. However, later in the day, your creative productivity could be remarkable. It's also a good day for serious discussions about children, vacations and even romantic matters.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Discussions with parents, or any kind of business related to home, real estate and domestic matters will be productive, especially later in the day. Someone older, especially a female, might have good advice for you.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

This is a pretty good day for you. You feel sympathetic to someone. Your imagination is also very active, which is handy for creative types. Later in the day, you'll want to have practical discussions about things, especially concerning long-range plans.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

If you have to make any financial decisions today, make them later in the day. Earlier in the day, you're less practical and more fanciful and inclined to extravagance. Later in the day, you get all sensible. (From strappy sandals to Birkenstocks.)

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Basically, you have the edge over all the other signs because Moon is in your sign today. (You like this sort of thing. You're a gambler at heart, so having the edge pleases you.) You might as well milk this for all its worth. Ask the universe for something for which you want a 'yes' answer.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Just play it low-key. Work behind the scenes if you can; or work alone. It's a good day to daydream and fantasize. However by the afternoon, you might find an opportunity to do some practical work connected with the government or large institutions.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

A friend, possibly an older female friend, is a significant contact for you today. You might want to help this person or vice versa. You each might exchange some practical advice with each other, especially later in the day. On the whole, people are helpful now.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Tread carefully today because others will notice you for some reason. There's a chance you will be misunderstood; or perhaps bosses won't get the drift about what you're trying to say. Oh well. Later in the day partners and members of the general public definitely understand.

If Your Birthday Is Today

16th US President Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865) shares your birthday today. You're a natural leader and mediator. You know how to get people talking to each other. (You understand what motivates people.) You have many talents and can pursue a wide variety of activities. You're also a strong nurturer. You're also tenacious; you never give up. Major changes could take place this year, perhaps as significant as something around 1998.
