We have the All Clear to shop or make important decisions today until 9:30 p.m. EDT. The Moon is in Capricorn.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Don't expect too much from today. Things are a bit squishy. People feel morose, pessimistic and all wrapped up with allegiance to duty and obligation. At least you'll find it easy to apply yourself to something.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Essentially, you're a hard working sign. Lower your expectations about what is possible today; and raise your efforts to achieve it. This combination might yield some positive results. Family matters seem more serious than they really are. Patience.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Pessimism is rampant today. We're all filled with "shoulds" and twinges of guilt. "I should be doing this; I should have done that." Make sure it doesn't infect you to the point that you're critical to or about others. Nothing will be gained from this. Go for the positive. (It's around here somewhere.)
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You feel broke today. (Why is there are always so much month left at the end of the money?) Mike Todd said poverty was an attitude, that he was broke many times but never poor. This is all well and good; but can you feed a family on attitude? (And is there a special sauce for it?)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
You feel serious about a lot of issues right now. The Sun in Leo is very close to stern Saturn, and the Moon is in Capricorn (the sign that Saturn rules.) You feel results oriented. You're not going to waste time in frivolous activity. Well, at least not until tomorrow. (Remember to floss.)
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Work alone today if you can. You'll probably get a lot done. The Moon is in your fellow Earth sign giving you some support. However, coworkers might be a bit distant or restrained. No worries. It's a brief, passing thing. Roll up your sleeves and get to work.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Someone older, or more experienced might have some good advice for you today. This person could show you a more economical or superior way of doing something. Relations with family members are a bit standoffish. It's no big deal. People don't feel particularly cozy today.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
You're in the public eye for some reason today. This could be because you have increased responsibilities about something. People might have to ask you for advice or consult you for permission or wait for you to hand out life preservers - whatever. (It all looks terribly serious.)
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Although you might be dealing with travel or educational matters today, you don't feel like spending money. Quite the opposite. You're counting your pennies and returning empties. Lots of people feel frugal and cautious today. (Sure money talks -- but it doesn't always make sense.)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Because a lot of people are in a serious frame of mind today, this might be a good day to discuss taxes, debt, inheritances and shared property. However, people will also be tightfisted and dour. If you want them to be otherwise -- choose another day to discuss these subjects.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Discussions with partners and older, more experienced friends might be serious today. Or perhaps, they're about a serious subject matter. Don't be discouraged by whatever unfolds. Today most people are taking the point of view that their glass is half-empty.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
This is a good day for solid, heads down, nose to the grindstone work. There's nothing airy-fairy going on. An older friend might have advice for you. (Probably a female.) Just work with what you've got. Do what you can.
